  1. Indeedy. I wish I could afford them and have a local football team that is good. I'm never going to game in regular seats again.
  2. He's a naive kid that thinks love means more than the millions he just earned.
  3. So much for Mario attracting future free agents...
  4. If that's the case, then we're still in deep trouble. Kyle's great at penetrating, but I think Dareus had an awful season. Carrington played better.
  5. I think Gailey is a fine OC (as long as you keep him away from personnel decisions) and the offense here would have flourished under an average or better QB. But, he has to take blame for the defense. It was a joke from day one until the end. Not only did he have no idea on that side of the ball, he delegated power all over the place with zero consistency. And special teams weren't much better, I have no idea what this team was doing with Lindell.
  6. Love is just a space eater. It's tempting when you see a starter for the Pats available, but they had a bunch of journeymen that filled roles at tackle beside Wilfork with Deaderick, Myron Pryor after Ron Brace was a big bust.
  7. He is. He stressed many times that he needs to be in better condition. This should be his year. No more excuses.
  8. It's no surprise that the offense liked Gailey. A mild-mannered guy who gave Fitz and WRs more freedom than they'd ever see with another coach, especially Stevie. And I agree that CJ is sincere about his praise about how Gailey wanted to use him... but, he held his tongue when it came to playing time. The positive talk about the coaches now means nothing. From recent interviews, some players don't know what their plan even is yet.
  9. You would have despised me 3 years when Gailey was hired, as I knew the impending failure that was ahead. Marrone is a complete unknown. I'm willing to give him a chance. Manuel was a gutsy pick. There seems to be a change in philosophy about only 'high character' guys. But, there's too many remnants of a failed organization that continue with this team. I have to be skeptical, at least.
  10. While Schopp and company were forced to talk about the Bills more since WGR bought rights to their games (and Schopp had to tone down his trolling act), it's always going to be the Sabres' network with the people in charge there. I like when Murph does his visit before his show on S+B, you can feel the tension. Just be happy Murphy's show exists as long as it does.
  11. Silly thread, etc... but, I have hope that Da'Rick can be this year's Burfict. He's apparently severed ties with the loser buddies he was with before. In interviews, he knows this is probably his last opportunity and admits he needs to stop being a fool. He also speaks fairly well for a kid his age, it seems like there's a head on his shoulders. Or maybe I'm just pleased the Bills finally made a move like this...
  12. According to Schefter, 9 other teams put in a claim for Shuler. Why, I haven't the slightest idea. The entire league had multiple chances at him
  13. Whaley isn't cheap, but The local meme will be that the Bills are suddenly lazy and not hardworking when the Bills are under .500 the next 2 years.
  14. So good that the Raiders let him go to the Giants for a 1 year deal
  15. I normally enjoy John Murphy's show... but, I can't listen to Buddy and Bills shills pretending like the team is better off now because of him. Ralph must have reeeally liked Buddy.
  16. Listening to some interviews with Bills, it seems like a formality and this is Buddy's time. I don't understand this reverence for Nix, but whatever.
  17. This is oddly similar to Chandler. He didn't play for 2+ years. Regarded as a purely blocking TE body. Although, the Cowboys were very rich at TE when they dumped him. Raiders, not so much.
  18. I really hope that Buddy didn't stayed through the draft just to get 'his QB'. That's how bad teams are run...
  19. Eh, I'm not feeling the 'change' that the Bills are trying to sell. Russ is still Ralph's guy. He hired one of his Syracuse buddies with Marrone. The plan was always for Whaley to replace Nix, and he shoulders some of the blame for this team being awful. And most importantly, the team still looks bad.
  20. Since the Bills don't need his wildcat ability anymore and have capable young returners, I have no idea why Brad wasn't cut already.
  21. They should change the name out of respect, but it shouldn't be forced upon Washington.
  22. I'll parrot the many compliments about Murph's show. I don't like him at all as an announcer, but it's always a great listen. Intelligent talk (a little too shilly at times, but it is a Bills sponsored show), and loads of quality interviews. Night and day compared to the clowns on before him.
  23. I feel like a sucker again so far... Nix and Brandon are still on board. They hire a relative unknown coach who was happy to take the job. I can't get excited, The roster remains terrible, the only real change is another new coaching staff that changes their system like we do every 3 years lately. And losing Levitre was the most notable thing of the offseason... a rare "elite" player at his position, and we let him go away again. I know, Tennessee paid him a lot, but it stings.
