  1. We have no idea if 99% of players are quality human beings. Don't worry about it, and enjoy these people beating themselves up for our pleasure, if you can.
  2. How is it stupid when Stevie himself said he doesn't do the work the team asks him to do.
  3. Lol Bills I like how Seattle added insult to injury by just signing Jackson again.
  4. True, that was a really shrewd contract at the time. Of course, Spiller could hold out/get an unnecessary extension early on, but the last few years of his deal were a big steal if he ended up any good. I think Spiller genuinely likes his role and would prefer to stay here. Dareus and Gilmore will be a challenge to keep.
  5. Losing Levitre keeps looking worse for me, since they've done nothing to address the LG position. And they're not using the cap space saved by losing him and Rinehart and extending Fitz' cap hit. CHANGE~?
  6. At least the starting RB is trying
  7. Yes. You shouldn't love a football team because they're named for your hometown and thus rob all their residents. And every player is filled with hope in the offseason. This means nothing.
  8. Nice posturing by the agent. Most likely, the Ravens had a limit set and would rather wait a year than break the bank. Fully understandable.
  9. He definitely contributes to his defenses being weak on the run, though. I know how PFF rates him, but whenever I watch Byrd, he's not one to initiate contact.
  10. I'm a former writer there. I'll tell Walter.
  11. I really want to believe that's the case. But, as long as Russ Brandon is in charge, I can't.
  12. I don't see that at all, except for maybe WR just because they're trying out so many guys. Most of the Bills depth are former cuts, waivers and FAs that nobody wanted already.
  13. I thought Troup showed glimpses of quality play his rookie year later in the 4-3. He's never been put in a position to succeed, though. Always injured. His role was clearly a 3-4 NT when he was drafted... and never even got a shot there due to the ineptitude of the Nix/Gailey regime. It would be a nice story if his hard work finally pays off.
  14. The Rams, Packers and Steelers, maybe. That's about it. The hate on this topic is sad. So many people not even thinking about it.
  15. The odds are a lot better than that if you consider opportunity.
  16. I think it's pretty fair because... Thanks. And the Saints still use a bunch of different RB/WRs. Only lessened lately by Jimmy Graham being really good. There's a fine line where positivity turns into nonsense. This stomps the line and long jumps over it.
  17. Every professional athlete cheats, it's just a matter of getting caught. At least the Bills are wise thus far.
  18. Yes. Jets fans also laughed at me when I said Sanchez was starting months ago. Now they're prepared to boo. And I don't care what Mortensen says. The media actually thought they'd cut Sanchez too, lol. They don't have to, but they will.
  19. The Jets have to at least give Sanchez his last shot to start, thanks to his stupid contract. I'm writing Geno off for ROY. Jarvis Jones will probably beat out Worilds, but he'll play the side James Harrison did, which isn't optimal to rack up stats since you don't rush all the time. Harrison did a couple years, but he was awesome. Le'veon Bell and Eddie Lacy are the main threats... probable starting RBs. I'm just saying, Manuel Alonso and Woods are in the position with good years to win meaningless awards.
  20. If Manuel starts week 1, he's the frontrunner for OROY. Woods also has a good chance. This is a very weak year for OROY candidates, no other QBs starting most of the season probably. Not many RBs or WRs appear to be in great situations either. Alonso has a good shot as well, since DROY is highly slanted towards LBs who gets lots of tackles, and bad teams get the most tackles against the run. Like Kuechly last year, who was pretty bad most of the year, but led the league in tackles. However, there's Te'o, and if he gets 100 tackles, the media is riding that train.
  21. Blah blah nonsense. Win games, then you can spew this stuff.
  22. I don't like that either, considering FSU did not ask Manuel to do a lot. He made a very high percentage of short, safe passes from the shotgun. I really hope Manuel pans out... but, there's good reason why most outsiders hated the pick.
  23. I'm also very glad. Because DHB can't catch with his hands. I would like to never hear Marcus Easley's name again, though. Has there ever been a player that's been hyped for so long despite doing absolutely nothing on a team with garbage WR depth his entire career.
  24. Well said. This 'analytics' nonsense was simply to please the awful local media outlet. Analytics in football are almost entirely useless, anyway. A true team sport along with a very small sample size make determining player value lack any sort of reliable accuracy. This isn't baseball. Although, it does appear that the Bills realized one skill where analytics are useful, kicking. With Lindell finally looking like he'll get the boot.
  25. You're being flippant to me based on defensive yards allowed rankings. Seriously. Do keep BILLieving that the Bills defense is better than the Pats, home cookin'.
