  1. Of course, if you're using Levitre to 'man up', you're using him incorrectly. He's an undersized guard, who counters that with special athleticism and top pass blocking at the position. If he's a bad fit for Marrone's scheme or you don't want to pay a guard that much, fair enough, although quite aggravating for the Bills who sorely lack top talent like that. But, pretending he wasn't a great player that was reliable at the position is foolish.
  2. I'm often critical of the constant attention whoring that Stevie does, but this is harmless. C'mon.
  3. Bingo. But, your enthusiasm is nice to see, Thomas.
  4. The Lions hung on to Best long enough, he's not going to play again. If he's ever cleared, many teams will gladly give him a shot. Shame, he was a great talent. If healthy, he was at least up there with Spiller.
  5. The girls may be attractive, but the photo choice and photoshopping are lulzworthy.
  6. Mario, by far, and he hasn't even been a top 10 pass rusher this decade. Byrd's a good safety and all, but I'm getting to the point where I'd like to be done with him. His value is overstated in many ways (unbelievable amount of INTs that fell in his lap his rookie year, he's an All-Pro... at a position where half the league dumps their old corners who are slow or can't tackle now)
  7. 3 years. Either he gets fired with Marrone, or the Bills' defense is good enough that he parlays that into a head coaching gig or a DC job with a true perennial contender. It's hard to see Pettine using this as anything but a proving ground and a potential stepping stone.
  8. Good for Colin telling delusional homers to stick it. Although, Dolphin teal over the classy 49er look? C'mon, Colin.
  9. Graham is nothing like Harvin. He's a former track guy that showed a knack for catching the deep ball in college. He's not a shifty runner, nor is he built for that. Then, last year, he dropped a lot of balls and was arguably the worst WR in the NFL. To be fair, his role was wasted under a QB like Fitz. Graham did show separation ability and was open often... although, you could use the Fitz argument there as well and suggest defenses didn't need to respect him. Goodwin has potential to be a Harvin-like player. But, there's good reason he was drafted where he was. He's 5'8, and is very raw since he was primarily a track star most of his time at Texas. I like drafting the athlete philosophy, but it will require patience. I'm not expecting much from him next year.
  10. I don't understand Bills fans mocking Mularkey. He's the best coach the team has had since Wade. And it's certainly understandable why he left the team, and questioning anything that Wilson and Brandon do.
  11. Lol. Do the Bills have anyone that can cover Donald Jones and Matt Slater?
  12. Not good enough. Moats is a dime-a-dozen speed LB that lacks the physicality for the position, and only got his bit of notoriety because the Bills have been so poor at LB, especially rush LB for years. He's charismatic, and seems like a great guy, though.
  13. Because they don't care about the gimme game, other than the few of them that will travel to Buffalo because the tickets are significantly cheaper.
  14. But it's fine for fellow citizens to pay millions of dollars to fund a garbage football franchise that the majority couldn't care less about.
  15. I predict the Bills finish 5-11. The schedule is really tough, but there's enough home games where they'll be solid favorites to bump them out of a great draft spot, as usual.
  16. Probably Kolb. Then when Brady beats us again, Manuel will eventually be forced to start due to public pressure.
  17. That's a bad thing. Berman announcing golf is about as bad as it gets.
  18. 10-20 years is probably too soon, but I think Mr. Barney will be correct. The combination of the violence of the game, along with rampant drug usage in sports eventually not being ignored will be hard to overcome.
  19. TJax left Minnesota because he wanted to compete for a starting job, and Seattle traded him. He's easily good enough for a roster spot, the Bills just handled the QB situation poorly and got played.
  20. Haha, your character here is so funny. Jackson is a solid backup in this league, and the Bills had to cut him because they have no planning skills. Meanwhile, Seattle used the Bills for a pick. Well run organization vs. poorly run.
  21. I'm shocked that jelly Bills homers reacted this way in a Brady thread. That article posted above gives a good explanation. Basically, Brady didn't perform that well in college and his arm wasn't big enough.
  22. I absolutely agree. It's unbelievable how poor most coaches are with game management. If I were an owner, I'd force my coach to have someone like this.
  23. I understand why they traded Peters, but the cycle continues. The pick turned into Wood... who is a lesser player than Levitre drafted that year, and they let him go. And Peters was arguably the best LT in football for 2 years until the achilles' tear. When he tries, he's unquestionably among the elite.
