Manuel had another rough outing
Leelee Phoenix replied to zazie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree this was EJ's best game. He hit on some throws, showed the potential he can be an accurate enough passer to be a 'franchise' guy. Nice step forward, please keep getting better. -
Our Depth, or Lack of is a Real Issue
Leelee Phoenix replied to BuffaloBillsMagic1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crezdon Butler made some plays for the Chargers today. I don't understand why they kept Rogers over him. But, the Bills depth in these areas has certainly surpassed expectations. -
[closed]Trade Stevie, Start Easley
Leelee Phoenix replied to SoulMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You wouldn't get a 3rd for Stevie with his contract. I'd actually be open to that trade if possible. -
The real problem is how much Bills fans care for this team There's no impetus for Bills ownership to give you a quality product (which I'm not saying they purposely do) because they know you'll show up every week When I read so many people who feel like they have to pay to support the team just to keep them in Buffalo, that's just sad. It's gone way too far.

Official Prediction Thread: BALvsBUF
Leelee Phoenix replied to Buffalo Beeeews's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BAL 20 BUF 17 Ugly game for both offenses, Baltimore's offense is really struggling so far this year -
Tj is our #2 on wr death chart
Leelee Phoenix replied to Clippers of Nfl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't understand releasing him in June after just re-signing him Even if they thought Tuel was worthy of a roster spot after mini-camp, where's the rush? You can keep 4 QBs into preseason cuts. The entire handling with Tarvaris here was so awful and embarrassing. -
Pro Football Focus does good work, although it's all subjective. It's not perfect, but it's the best info you'll find on speciflc player statistics. I do not support Football Outsiders with their made up stats that they refuse to release to the public. DVOA is a joke. There's validity in game management stats, like coaches should go for 4th downs far more than they do and the running game should be less used with today's rules, but metrics on player performance just doesn't work with football.

Who should the next member of the Wall of Fame be?
Leelee Phoenix replied to Breakdance's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know, but it's still weird to me. Van was for the home team, but he was still professional. I hate homer announcing like Bentley and Tasker in preseason where it's just embarrassing. I have Byrd and Dunaway (who will never go in) ahead of Moulds. Knowing Ralph, there's probably some silly reason Byrd isn't in yet too. Cookie was only here 3 years. Even if those were great years, he doesn't seem fitting for the wall. -
Who should the next member of the Wall of Fame be?
Leelee Phoenix replied to Breakdance's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As much as I love Van, I don't know about putting announcers on the wall. I get that they work for the team, but announcers should be impartial and not a part of things like this. Moulds was the best player remaining from the list. -
Byrd's a lot better. You need to defend the pass today. But, Searcy has played surprisingly well thus far. I'm all for trading Byrd now for anything, though. The signs he's sending are that he's clearly not interested in re-signing. Might as well get something since this Bills team is unlikely to make the playoffs.

Three guys that need more chatter:
Leelee Phoenix replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Glenn's been praised by most since day one and has fully deserved it. Looks like the Bills hit on him. Urbik, I'm not so high on. Note that you didn't mention his pass blocking. Colin Brown is terrible. -
MIA - TJ Graham - Track star with no separation
Leelee Phoenix replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Graham is not worth it for the one thing he supposedly does well, catching deep passes. Bad route runner, among the worst hands of any WR in the league, no physicality, and the Bills continue to use him often underneath which I cannot understand. And he's not much on special teams. I've never understood what the Bills see in this kid. -
$22,846,458.00 available cap space is GONE
Leelee Phoenix replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some guys with higher salaries like Kolb, Pears, maybe Brad Smith should be gone too -
Bills to wear throwbacks this week
Leelee Phoenix replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't believe players liked the navy blue jerseys and pants pajama combo Those things were grotesque Buffalo sports have had a bad recent history with screwing up uniforms for no reason -
Jairus Byrd our Peyton Hillis Headache
Leelee Phoenix replied to John Belucheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Trade him for whatever. 3rd rounder, do it. I don't see how the Bills are able to re-sign him unless he plays terribly and his value drops. Say whatever about the injury that can't be detected, he's made it clear he's not happy here. Which is understandable, imagine if you were in a similar situation. Garbage team, garbage front office, tiny endorsement potential, horrible weather, doesn't want to commit to you risking you millions. I'd be out of Buffalo lickety-split. -
Manuel's first TD pass was his call
Leelee Phoenix replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All QBs should be given more freedom to audible. Since Manuel is this poised, intelligent kid, let's see what he's got. This team isn't going anywhere with him as a "game manager". -
It has to be. I can't avoid ads for the game. Every preseason game. Randomly online.

POLL: Top 3 Reasons for the Loss
Leelee Phoenix replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm surprised by the lack of Manuel being held back votes This is a passing league, let your QB do his job
