Jets fan Punches a female Pats fan
Leelee Phoenix replied to Homey D. Clown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was going to say that Bills fans aren't any better than Jets' fan regarding these things, but I don't even need to. I hope that's soon. I'd like to go to a game again someday and enjoy it -
For those of you whining about coaching
Leelee Phoenix replied to BillsFan3434's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jauron had his players ready and they loved him. I'm impressed with Pettine and will hate when he probably jumps ship soon for a better job. Otherwise, jury is out. -
Not saying, just saying...I like Byrd on this team.
Leelee Phoenix replied to 3putt's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills have the cap room now, but not necessarily in the future They have to trade him, even if it's for peanuts. The stunt he's pulled this year sets a really bad precedent, and he doesn't want to be here. It's a shame, he had a great game today -
Is Stephon Gilmore an above average CB???
Leelee Phoenix replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Gilmore reached an above-average level late last year He really shouldn't be out there with this injury, Gilmore relies heavily on being physical with WRs and he can't do that at all with that cast on. -
Official 2nd Half Thread - Bills and Fins
Leelee Phoenix replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's justified with this game. We basically won because their QB made a few horrible mistakes and ours didn't. Game management-wise, this was a HORRIBLE game by Marrone and Hackett -
Fred Jackson is a stud. Top 5 back.
Leelee Phoenix replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, Fred isn't. That's the only thing that holds him back, but it's also the main reason of separation between the elite backs and the rest. And why guys like Fred and Joique went undrafted. I love Fred, but he's not top 5. -
I don't know why Bills homers do this to themselves...
-
Odds of converting a two-pointer when the defense is expecting it, is roughly 35-40% It's tempting if you have a play you really believe in, but kicking is the prudent choice.

This Marrone fella, he's gonna be a good one
Leelee Phoenix replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't care for Marrone so far His game management skills suck, and his 'analytic' hype has proven to be frivolous thus far He honestly just comes across as another meathead 'Type A' authoritarian type that usually does nothing in sports today At least he's been better than Gailey, though Icing the kicker is stupid. There is no proof that it works in any way. -
The 2nd wild card spot in the AFC
Leelee Phoenix replied to KikO M G's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Win in Miami first before thinking about this... because the Bills absolutely have to sweep them. And while the Bills have been close in every game thus far, their 2 road performances against lesser teams were poor performances and wins that were ripe for the taking. -
4th and Goal at the one
Leelee Phoenix replied to Braedenstearns's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good move. Easily the percentage play. Nice to see Marrone do that for a change and believe in his offense. Much higher than that, more in the 90% range if you practice sneaks at all -
Matt Flynn on flight to Buffalo, (update - now signed)
Leelee Phoenix replied to Punch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ugh, Flynn is not a potential solution. I really don't understand the handling of Tuel this season. Do they really think that a season or two of sitting on the bench will get him from "OMG, we cannot let him play" to someone worth doing stashing on the roster like this -
You're not the only one on Brandon, but be careful, people will openly say they'll block you and hate you for it. I am truly baffled why I should be pleased with his work, and why I'm wrong in thinking he's a mere yes man for Wilson. Marrone has shown very poor game management skills. Brandon has spewed the 'analytics' line and there's no evidence that he's following through on that. The Bills handled CB depth poorly. Handled QB situation exceptionally, embarrassingly poorly. They have copious cap space while ceding quality assets and addressing nothing. I agree that the team is headed in the right direction. The defense, even with a lesser game today, is showing real promise. There's quality pieces to build around. Do I think it matters with this front office? No. Not unless the Bills get really lucky with a QB.

Stevie = Kaleta as far as refs are concerned
Leelee Phoenix replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. The Sabres deserve the extra penalties for keeping a useless, dirty player on their team that only makes the game worse. I don't think Stevie's singled out like you're suggesting, although it's human nature that refs will pull the flag out quicker for nonsense with his history. There's a lack of consistency everywhere in the NFL. The best way to stop it is to be a more profitable team for the league, like people here have suggested. -
No, don't tell WGR. Any attention you give them is good attention, and they don't care what you think. Radio culture sucks these days, that's why talent has slowly been leaving the business. Honestly, just be happy that we get Murph's show.

Better than nothing Seriously, there's no point in keeping Byrd. They're not re-signing him Bills screwed the pooch by being a garbage team and not paying him top dollar Move on, it's not like he was a difference maker anyway I get it, but I think setting the precedent that you can get $9M next year while the team lets you sit on your ass is worse. I bet the majority of players side with Byrd on this. They know his current injury is BS. You can't let these things continue
-
It's not that. Schopp doesn't care about hockey at all, and Parker is just a casual homer of all sports. It's because the higher ups at WGR have a long history of working with the Sabres, and a poor history with Ralph and his yesmen. They had to pull teeth just to get the current deal with the Bills, despite being the only real sports network in the area.
-
I disagree, stick with the fast-paced offense That's what they've practiced, there's the goal of wearing down defenses. Run or pass matters little with pacing. If you get first downs at a good rate, it works well. If not, you suffer You have to believe in your players. There's more than enough safe, conservative, play-not-to-lose mentality in the league.

Legursky starting at LG for Colin Brown?
Leelee Phoenix replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Most street FAs would be better than Brown, so good -
I'm guessing because they didn't want to risk putting Tuel on the practice squad incase some team picked him up after his one good half against Colts scrubs. I'm guessing you didn't watch him last week. That was embarrassing. His performance, his composure, he was literally whining like a child.
-
I'm biased because Patrick White is a handsome lad, but watching him this preseason, I think he could surprise many if he gets a starting shot here. I'd also like to see Thad Lewis as the backup and try putting Tuel on the PS. Seriously, after his whining and awful play last week, get the kid off the roster. Please.
-
If they can somehow get Bridgewater, you have to take him. Same for Manziel if he sufficiently cleans up his act. Beyond that, I really doubt Whaley and crew will be brave and take another QB early. As for me, I'd always be taking QBs until I had a legitimate top-class one that's capable of winning a championship. Manuel certainly isn't there yet and we're probably not seeing any meaningful improvement this year now. And let's be honest, he's unlikely to reach that level with his flaws. If there's a QB I like at all in any round, I take him, no questions asked.
