  1. I'd put Graham on special teams the rest of the year, and give him another chance next year/injuries arise. But I've thought he was awful since early in his rookie year, obvious bad hands and struggles reading the ball. This team makes many moves that baffle me, like I think they're tanking
  2. As I said in July, I remain at a loss as to what the Bills see in Tuel. Weak arm, immature with a bad attitude, slightly mobile I guess, accomplished nothing in college albeit on an atrocious team but he was never heralded as a passer anyway. Where is the upside. Then he had one good half against the Colts' cuts in the opening preseason game which makes him untouchable? Does Tuel know dirty secrets about Doug Whaley? Maybe he mistakenly sent him freaky porn too.
  3. I'm still waiting to see why the Bills bothered signing him, let alone the trouble of keeping him on the roster Where is this talent that the league would be in a rush to get him off waivers. Weak arm, can't handle any pressure.
  4. Except last year The only year the Bills followed through on drafting their QB, to the point where they had no choice but to Sigh
  5. No, don't Motivation won't help Martin's sloooow feet.
  6. 0 points. Tuel's performance vs. Cleveland was the worst I've ever seen
  7. I'm fine with this as well If Manuel can't run at a high level, there's no need to put him out there anyway
  8. It's going to be about 40 and sunny. No snow. A great day for football. Average high is 52 on 4 November. It will be a cold day for the time of year, but we'll be back in the 60s by Tue/Wed
  9. And every 'analytic person' knows and understands that, there's various other game situations to consider (team you're playing, your talent, quality play to use, if your talent can run that quality play, etc...). There's this disconnect that the public thinks we're like computers. Which is why I don't give a darn about this hire. If Marrone actually subscribes to 'analytics' like he says, then we have no chance since he's as conservative and old school as any coach today.
  10. To be their 3rd stringer? Not buying it. We only know where one other team had Manuel, that's Dallas that gave him a 4th round grade. And they could use him as a backup.
  11. Because they will avoid Jeff Tuel ever starting after the Cleveland debacle And Keenum ended up starting and keeping a healthy Schaub on the bench this week The lack of snaps in practice stuff is filler babble for the media to pretend they know these millionaires are hardworking blah blah
  12. Really? Only Buffalo fans would care about puff pieces like this...
  13. I do think Marrone has brought a sense of discipline, the penalties are mostly because this is an inexperienced, below-average team that hasn't played with each other much. Otherwise, yeah. The analytics stuff from Brandon was complete nonsense, as most of us thought it was.
  14. Nobody said that. The Saints are clearly a more talented team We're critiquing Marrone's performance I know, I know... questioning the HARDWORKING BLUE-COLLAR GET 'ER DUN BUFFALO FOOTBALL local head coach is wrong and stupid. Some people think about things logically in Buffalo, although we're dwindling.
  15. Yes, he's really bad Ultra-conservative on 4th downs and in general Stupid challenges have become a weekly thing And he talked a big game that he'd be different in this regard, which he hasn't at all
  16. Many kickers intentionally hook it from the left hash
  17. Lindell's always been an accurate kicker, but his leg strength is gone and that means more today with kickoffs. He's in a better spot now with Koenen handling kickoffs (although he didn't Thursday for some reason). Honestly, the Bills are better off with Carpenter now. He's been great.
  18. I don't know about BACK... but if the Bills win, then I start seriously thinking playoffs are possible They'd have proven they can compete with a strong, talented offense in a tough road environment. Then you have the confidence you can beat any team But, I think this is when reality comes and the Bills get their first loss where they're clearly outclassed
  19. Saints 35 Bills 21 12 or more will do But they're underdogs every game
  20. I don't like to focus on playcalling, but predictability is a concern. The last few games when Spiller is on the field, which is only 20-30 plays, he's getting touches about 70% of those. Manuel's read options were handoffs nearly every time. The runs in the middle are noticeable for us. Marrone has proven already that he's a very conservative coach and his 'analytic' talk was BS which Brandon probably forced him to do. The 20+ points every game point is silly. Most of the credit for that goes to Pettine's defense causing turnovers, along with the remarkable consistency of scoring 20-24 every single game. This is an average offense at best with Manuel or Lewis. Marrone/Hackett get a pass for now because talent is lacking, but I'm definitely questioning their acumen so far.
  21. But that's reality, as much as I don't like it. And Manuel is starting next year too, the injury probably locks that up. I'd like the Bills to prove me wrong and continue working to improve the QB position.
  22. That King is only good for his sources. I don't give a darn about his uneducated opinions
  23. Buddy gets full credit for however Manuel turns out since he openly said he was taking HIS QB before he left. He hopes the reach pans out. I question how much input he had in the rest. It's hard to see him taking Alonso. But, I'm a hating doubter of him. I'd like to forget Gailey/Nix era ever existed.
