Who should coach this team in 2024?
Kirby Jackson replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
LOL, just admit that you were wrong about him. He’s awful. His team scores 8.5 points more than every team that they play and win half of the time!! That’s an incredible level of failure from McDermott. -

Um, because he has +101 point differential and is 6-6. He outscored every team by 8.5 points and wins half of the time. He is 8-15 in 1 score games over the last 3 years. That’s ATROCIOUS. It doesn’t take much to think that almost ANYONE would be better. -

Lol, he’s not a good coach!! He has the best QB in franchise history. ANYBODY could coach this team to 10 wins. He’s Marty Schottenheimer. He’s Norv Turner. He’s a bottom 5 coach. -

If you’re watching this, with ALL of the math saying otherwise, and you continue to support McDermott, I must ask, are you related to him? -

Bro, I’m not trying to do this but what are you watching? Lol, just do better. He handed McDermott’s defense the lead after the 2 minute warning AND AGAIN in overtime. Sean managed to blow it twice. He called a stupid TO and then couldn’t get a stop. Courtesy of @HappyDays https://x.com/werderedespn/status/1728955582361878751?s=46&t=aIi6rXjE4r9_s--847m7fQ -

His team has outscored the opposition by 8.5 points a week. How many spreads are 8.5? They are 2-6 in one score games. They took a knee with Josh Allen and 20 seconds. He’s 8-15 in 1 score games over the last 3 years!! How many TOTAL lossss over the last 3 years? Please do better… -

He’s generally had an ear to the ground on the Bills. It’s obviously warm. They outscored teams by 8.5 points a week but win half of their games 😂😂. That’s only on him. -

I don’t need to wait. I want to identify the person and hire them. -

This is weirdly ironic. The Bills have a +101 point differential. Only Baltimore’s is larger in the AFC. The Bills average 8.5 points more, per game, than their opponent yet are .500. That’s pretty much the definition of horrendous coaching. When they game gets close, they don’t close. -

Naw, the heat will be too much. Albright already mentioned that the seat is hot. He won’t be back. He sucks and mediocrity can’t be a thing with Josh Allen here. -

They’ve outscored their opponents by 101 points. Only Baltimore has a larger point differential in the AFC. It’s on Sean. He absolutely has to go. -

Slowik is a young play caller for the Texans. He comes from the Kyle Shannahan tree. -
McDermott is absolutely not the answer. He’s a loser that always loses. If McDermott is fired, it’ll be one of the most desirable jobs available. If you were Terry Pegula, who would you hire? I’m in record that I’d fire McDermott in the morning and hand Brady the keys. I’d give him a 6 week audition. If it doesn’t work, I’d probably hire Bobby Slowik. Ben Johnson would be my 2nd option.

The Bills have outscored opponents by 101 points. Only 1 AFC team, Baltimore, has a greater point differential. McDermott is THE biggest problem and it isn’t even close to what’s next.- 147 replies

He’s Dick Jauron with a talented roster. If you’re defending him at this point, I don’t know what to say. McDermott is HORRENDOUS. He’s a bottom 5 coach with an elite QB. He is a loser. He should be gone tomorrow but won’t be. He absolutely can’t be back in 2024. He can’t win.- 147 replies

Lol, I saw that. It’s perfect. You were able to be pleasantly surprised. The Bills drafted a talented pass catching TE and he’s actually good. If they would have realized that before like week 8, they’d be even better off.

The Kincaid pick thread inspired me to look back at the prediction thread. How close was everyone? It looks like I’ll be a little light on the catches. The TDs still feel possible and he hopefully surpasses that yardage.

Dalton Kincaid: Beane's best pick since Allen?
Kirby Jackson replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t really want to rank guys vs. guys at other positions. It’s just kind of weird to compare Dalton Kincaid to Taron Johnson for example. With that being said Kincaid was a really good pick. He was a blue-chip prospect that filled a need. The Bills got a guy that looks exactly like the guy that they drafted him to be. He is one of the best TEs in the league right now. Kincaid will play a huge role on this team moving forward. That was the goal when they selected him. He was a fantastic pick. -
Outlook on McDermott if we turn it around

Apparently it was 20-9. We played our best game of the year in a “must lose” scenario 😂😂. -

Lol, that was the same game for me!! Didn’t they beat Carolina on a last second FG? -
Officials Blowing Their Whistles in the Middle of Play
Kirby Jackson replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills won by A LOT yesterday. That was one of the poorest officiated games that I’ve ever seen!!! My favorite was when it was 1st and 5 and the Bills lost 2 yards. AFTER the play, the officials got together and said that they forgot to move the chains on the prior play. It became 2nd and 12!! You either have to move the chains AND the football OR leave it alone. The truth is, you should do it right to begin with. The Bills didn’t end up converting a 1st down. That was WILD. You can add a handful of other brutal mistakes to the list. Just a horrendous game for the officials!! -

Help me understand the bolded. What does that mean? How would you know if “____” is an improvement? A few years ago Dan Campbell wouldn’t have seemed like an upgrade. He would have been. Do we know if Bobby Slowik or Ben Johnson would be improvements? Anyone COULD be an improvement OR a step back. That just doesn’t make sense to me. You ABSOLUTELY shouldn’t make a decision on McDermott (or any coach) based on what you perceive to be as “clear upgrades.” Any decision should be made based on whether or not you believe Sean McDermott is the guy to win Super Bowl(s) with this team. That’s the only criteria. -

Kirby Jackson replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m pretty much the exact opposite of this. I believe that lots and lots of people could lead this roster to wins. I said before the year, “Super Bowl or I want someone else.” I’m not going to ride the wave of “good week he should stay” vs. “bad week he should go.” As McDermott likes to say, “the standard is the standard.”
