3 way tie for conference lead possibility
Kirby Jackson replied to ehfeuh57's topic in The Stadium Wall
I kind of look at this game as a playoff game. If the Bills lose this week they will likely have to play in Cincy and Arrowhead to get to the Super Bowl. I don’t like those odds. If they win here, a bye is likely and the road to Arizona goes through OP in January!! -
Treatment of opposing team fans(your experience)
Kirby Jackson replied to PatsFanNH's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have a decent, but incomplete, sample size (Buffalo, New England, Miami, Cleveland, Carolina, New Orleans, Atlanta, LA Rams, Detroit, Houston, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Dallas). We are (by far) the worst that I’ve ever seen. Cleveland is 2 for me. Miami can be pretty brutal, especially when they are good. Detroit was surprisingly prickly and I expect the same from the Bengals fans next week. The weird places to me are the places that the fans don’t really care about their team (Atlanta, Rams, Houston, Jags, Titans and kinda Carolina). That is hard for me to wrap my head around. They were so indifferent. When the Bills lose, I hurt for days. -
Josh Allen doesn’t like Domed stadium supports open air
Kirby Jackson replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
I still wish that we were getting a dome. It’s a mistake IMO. I’m out there every week 4 hours before kickoff freezing my butt off. We have heaters at the tailgate and I sit under the heaters in 237. That’s about as insulated as you can be from the weather and it sucks. -
NFL Week #15 - Fish at Buffalo - Post Game Thread
Kirby Jackson replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol, sorry buddy. You’ve got the wrong guy. Fans ALWAYS make excuses. That happens for every team. I’ve never seen this percentage of fans making excuses. Usually I’d say that it is 75% excuses after a loss. Miami fans are over 90% from my unscientific estimation. -

Oh, we are BRUTAL. This is beyond us. Usually you see a mix of excuses and “the better team one.” The fins fans, universally, believe that they were robbed by the refs. -

I’ve NEVER seen a whinier fan base following a loss. The takeaway from them was “the refs.” -
Predict the Score of the Bills-Dolphins Game!

38-17 -
That’s exactly right. I sit in 10 so I’m high enough up but 7 (and even 8) can occasionally get some precipitation if the wind is blowing. Generally you’re safe there though. The snow is obviously better than the rain.

7 is literally the row where you “should” be undercover. The heaters take the chill off but it isn’t warm. Last week I went to a hoodie and base layer.

Jerry Sullivan crosses the line. Comments against women.
Kirby Jackson replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s why I said “this would give them the cover that they need.” They probably wanted him out following the “Super Bowl offense” comment. It’s in their best interest to not censor that (even if they wanted to). With the comments of yesterday they can pull his credential under the premise of “misogyny has no place in our organization.” They might not play that hand with other reporters, but with Sully it is possible. He has been hated within those walls for 35+ years. -

Do the Bills pull his press credential? I’m sure that they were annoyed with the “Super Bowl offense” statement (not question). This would give them the cover that they need to get him out of the press room. -
AJE has 4.5 sacks and is playing a fraction of the snaps. Did you ever wonder why? I often watch games with my brother, a former college QB. For 3 years now, he has pointed out how Epenesa is always out of position. The Bills coaching staff is apparently seeing the same thing. He plays in pass rush situations because he can create pressure. As @JayBaller10 said earlier Shaq & Groot played 53 of the first 58 snaps vs. New England. That should tell you who the coaching staff trusts.
-
That’s honestly exactly why you don’t notice him. He’s plays his role well.
-
He’s just a fantastic role player. He does a lot well and he’s always in the right position. Shaq is the kind of smart guy that the Pats had for 20 years.

Klein is fine depth. Edmunds is, at times, a star. He’s having his best season in a Bills uniform. Please don’t be crazy.

Pick 1 NCAA player to add to the Bills
Kirby Jackson replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in College Football
Harrison is an obvious answer (and a good one). I should have been clearer though by saying “draft eligible NCAA player.” Harrison can’t come out. -
Roll call- who’s going to the Bills-Pats game?
Kirby Jackson replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ll be there. It’s a work trip and I’ll be a guest in suite with a bunch of Pats fans (and 1 other Bills fan). I’m not sure how I’ll be able to keep my mouth shut. -
NFL Week 11 Browns at Bills (Detroit) - 1st half game thread
Kirby Jackson replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don’t let bad QBs throw the ball inside the numbers!!! Make them throw the ball outside. Please, please, please play inside leverage!! -
That’s fair. Health was necessary to achieve that level. Nonetheless, there have been spurts of dominance. I’d like to see a 60 minute beat down. Create turnovers and pressure on defense. Execute in the red zone. Protect the football. Convert 3rd downs. Do not make any special teams mistakes. This might be the day. Last year at about this time the lightbulb went off. The Bills were the best team in football from this point forward. I’m hoping that happens again. They need to find a rythym and get healthy. If that happens, they’re incredibly dangerous.

Pats place DT Christian Barmore on IR
Kirby Jackson replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s their best player IMO (along with Judon). This is a big loss for them. -
I guess that we just have a different level of expectation for this team then. I honestly believe that they should have challenged the ‘07 Pats for largest point differential in a season. I felt like +315 was realistic. My expectation was something like 15-2 with an average margins of victory of 3 scores a game. The Bills are clearly one of the best teams in football. Coming into this year I believed that that had a chance to be one of the great teams ever. They aren’t that at this point. The level of satisfaction, to this point, depends on your expectations. They haven’t consistently played to the level that I think they’re capable of.
-
IMO, the Bills haven’t played to their level this year. They have had good 1/2’s (Titans, Rams, Steelers) but have yet to put together 4 solid quarters. Just a feeling, but today is the day. I think, coming out of today, we will be reminded why the Bills are STILL the Super Bowl Favorite (at least on DraftKings at +400).

Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills
Kirby Jackson replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
They expect AT LEAST one 1st. The Saints traded their 2023 1st already so they are hoping to recover it with Payton returning to the sidelines. If you’re right though and he’s going to wait on the perfect opportunity it might not be this year. Lol, I obviously meant the Browns 🤦🏻♂️.
