  1. Yep, and one had that success with Ryan Tannehill and the other with Josh Allen. They said, “average QB play be damned!! Let’s get a guy in there to play the worst 1/2 of football in the history of the game. At that point we will go back to the average guy.” It, predictably, failed miserably. Anyone that watches/scouts college football knew how awful Peterman was. Go back and read @GunnerBill on Peterman before the draft. It was one thing if the Bills had a talented project (think Spencer Rattler) behind Taylor. Maybe you say, “that talent upgrades them from average.” With Peterman, he’s one of the least talented prospects ever.
  2. They did it by a combination of spend and seniority. FWIW, I went through this process 15 years ago and we did it the same way. You need to get the most expensive stuff sold first. That’s what has the shortest list of potential replacements. It’s harder to sell 50 club seats than 500 upper level seats. The people that sat in a particular area the longest, are getting the first choice in that area (for the most part). It isn’t perfect but it’s absolutely the right way to do it and how others do it.
  3. I think that the Saleh move screams Jets for Adams. It sounds like this was all Woody Johnson. They are in a place where they have 2 years (ish) to win a Super Bowl. We are only 5 games into the 1st of those 2ish years and it’s not going well. They can’t just address it in the offseason. They will lose half of their window. They have to pull the trigger on any/every “win now” move(s). Saleh was just the most recent domino to fall. I doubt he’s the last one. Future be damned for the J-E-T-S
  4. I agree with that. With that being said, I’m not sure that he ever had a team play above its talent. He’s done what he should with the talent he’s had.
  5. If the HC needs an “end of game coordinator” he’s not a HC. Yep and is the perfect guy to get you to that level. If you have 6-11 talent he can get you to 9-7. If you have 14-3 talent, he can get you to 13-4. He’s Marty Schottenheimer and Marvin Lewis. With Josh Allen, I don’t need a guy that can get me to the playoffs. 80% of this message board could do that. That’s not our situation anymore. We need a guy that can win a Lombardi. His game coaching doesn’t lead me to believe that’s him.
  6. There is a club on the lower sidelines between the 20’s (on the east side). It’s called the East Club. Food and beverages are included in that club too.
  7. Wish it was a week later but whatever. He was a problem but not the only one. Their window is small and they need to push their chips in now.
  8. Juju in 2022, before New England, had 933 yards. Why are we saying New England Juju is the real one and not the guy from now and the year before?
  9. Not sure what point your making? He played a year with the worst offense ever in New England. The year before he had 933 yards with KC. 2 years before that he had 97 catches and 7 TDs. 2 years before that he had 111/1426/7. He’s proven that he can play. We don’t have ANYONE that has touched those seasons. I’m not a Juju guy but he’s been way more productive than anyone that we have. Also, can we stop with “our WRs are no worse than KCs.” Rice, Juju, Hollywood and obviously Kelce, have all had better seasons than anyone we have. While their pass catchers aren’t great, they are way more productive than ours. They also have Reid and Mahomes. We need to stop pretending that we are the same to justify our trash receivers.
  10. You sure that you want to do this without at least googling JuJu? He has 4 seasons (of his 7 full seasons) better than every season, of every Bills WR combined….
  11. Yep Admittedly, I didn’t love Thomas. I liked him and thought he was the 4th best WR. I wasn’t sure if he was a number 1. I would have been fine with that move at the time but not doing cartwheels like I would have if they got one of the big 3 (regardless of cost). As it turns out, Thomas is off to a great start and looks like he would have been an elite fit.
  12. 100% agree. The Bills don’t need more bites at the apple IMO. They need stars. They need to draft someone that comes out and goes to the Pro Bowl as a rookie.
  13. Stay safe out there!! We will be thinking about everyone in Milton’s path. It looks terrifying. Hoping that y’all took the necessary precautions and got out if you could. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
  14. In my opinion, this is the biggest fail in the process. It doesn’t make any sense to me. No one wants to get pounded with rain/snow, especially after the last few seasons. They said 60% of the stadium is covered. I have no idea why that isn’t a lot higher (even if they didn’t build a dome).
  15. Yeah, I doubt he does. It tells you though that KC desperately wants a WR. They’ll be in on Cooper/Hopkins/Etc… The good news, with the exception of the Bills, no one will give them the guys that they want. The Bills don’t have anyone that they want. 4d chess
  16. Don’t know how reliable this is:
  17. I’m not a Pickens fan. He has a ton of talent but has been a problem since well before he entered the NFL. I have no interest in giving up a decent asset for him. If they were just “done” with him and would take a late round pick, sure I’ll take a chance. He could be a star. I doubt it but if it was a late pick or mid round pick swap, sure. If it fails, cut him or trade him. If they’re willing to trade him, that tells you a lot about him. They kept AB under control for years.
  18. They easily sell out. They have PSLs for $8K in the club. There will be tons of PSLs at $2500 or less. The Bills haven’t released the pricing yet so that they can adjust as needed with the most populated areas of the stadium. They’ve only released the most expensive so far. The hard part is done (or mostly done). I’m not sure everyone fully understands that. The thought for most is, “the people with the most expensive seats are the likliest to buy in the new stadium because they have the disposable income.” The reality is you might be asking those people for $40K for 2 PSLs as opposed to the people still coming that may be $3K for 2 PSLs. There’s a 10 year payment plan option. The people that had to make the tough financial decisions are pretty much through the process. It’s going to cost more than it does currently but don’t think that the vast majority will get “priced out” moving forward. The people that got whacked the worst were the people in the lower level between the 30’s.
  19. Yep!! It’s definitely a little misleading.
