“Legends” awarded F&B contract for the new stadium
Kirby Jackson replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
That wouldn’t be a surprise would it? That has always been the plan. The surprise would be no PSLs. -
It’s a fair question and I agree with you. The Bills are more likely to be in the Super Bowl than to miss the playoffs. People have gone WAY too far on the Bills after a terrible playoff performance. The reality is that they won 8 in a row to that point while not playing great. They faced adversity at a level that no team had ever faced. They improved in the off-season. They lost 3 games by a total of 8 points. If they could have properly executed a kneel down vs. Minnesota they were 14-2 with home field throughout. They had the biggest point differential per game in the NFL. The schedule is tougher and others have improved as well. I still expect the Bills to win the division 12-5(ish) and be much better in the playoffs. They didn’t play with that same swagger or sense of urgency last year. I expect that to return and they are an improved team. I’m betting an adjusted spread week 1 as the Jets are overrated and the Bills underrated. I’m laying double digits.

Can’t argue with any of this. One thing to add is a quick shoutout to @Virgil. His mock draft threads remain some of the best on TBD. It is a lot of work but they are fun and interesting.

Best Bills player to wear every jersey number (0-50)

When I worked in the NBA we started charging $.10-$1 (can’t remember exactly) to print off the open practice tickets. We did it for this exact reason. The first year there were something like 10,000 tickets out there and 1,000 people came. How do you staff for parking, concessions, security? The following year we instituted that minimal charge and there were like 4,000 tickets distributed and 3,000+ people in the building. Obviously, it wasn’t about the money. It was about that little extra commitment of grabbing your wallet, entering your CC and feeling like you’ve committed to something. It also allowed us to track, and build an algothrim, to score engagement of our season ticket holders. This was one of many factors but, obviously, the STH that is attending an open practice is more likely to renew than the fan that uses 70% of their season tickets. We probably developed about 30 indicators and a value to how important each was. In year 1, it was almost spot on. Moving forward, our service team worked to drive the engagement scores to increase renewal percentage.

FWIW, if anyone has clubs there are still plenty of available. I forgot about it and just logged in and was able to get 4 of them. They give parking and free food / non-alcoholic drinks. I don’t know if I’m going to go or not. I’m at camp the day before and find that to be a lot more interesting. If not, I’m happy to donate.

Lol, at people making excuses. Please just stop with the “it’s a great place to watch a game.” It is not by 2023 standards. It’s okay to say that without talking about the “sight lines” or it being a “throwback.” The stadium in Atlanta is 1,000,000,000x better. That’s reality. What is with this Buffalo mentality of not wanting nice things?!? That’s so weird and insecure to me. I don’t get it. It’s okay to want better than what we currently have. I have 100’s of great memories in that stadium. It’s still a dump compared to pretty much every other stadium that I’ve been to. It’s okay to have nice things. Soon enough, we will…
-
Happy 4th to you as well!!
-
We have such an incredible fan base. We deserve a stadium to match us. It’ll be amazing!!
-
I’m not surprised. It’s a dump. I’ve been to about 1/2 of the stadiums at this point and ours is absolutely the worst that I’ve been to. Obviously we have an emotional attachment but compared to others it is trash. In 3 years we will have one of the nicest stadiums in the league.

I went that route as well (313). I’m not sure if it’s the same club as where you are but if so we will catch up.

The whole thing was a cluster. I expected it to be difficult but not nearly as terrible as it was. You (likely) didn’t miss out. Generally, I wait for the market to stabilize. I’m assuming that the prices will fall as the summer goes on. I am just not as confident as usual on that with the demand for the game. That’s why I pulled the trigger this morning. That uncertainty was causing me anxiety.

It was just as messy. I just panicked and bought on StubHub. That’s the most that I’ve ever paid for tickets to anything 🙄.
-
I failed in the presale so this is the route I’m going. Where are you sitting? I’ll try to buy near you.
-
This was so frustrating. StubHub it is
-
I had them in my basket but nope… Generally there is a club seat window on all presales. This one was just a mess. I’m now a “bot” apparently. I’ll be on the secondary market I guess.

I have clubs and some decent seniority. Mine was definitely at 10.

10:00 I was in. Had them in my basket but they it wouldn’t show up
