  1. Peacock costs me like $6 a month. If you’re not willing to pay that, I have no sympathy. You aren’t that committed. I pay over 100x that for every single home game and never complain. I CHOOSE to do that because I love the Bills. If you elect to not pay the $6 on principle, that’s your choice, but don’t come here looking for people to feel sorry for you.
  2. There’s a really good chance that we are playing for the division even if we don’t beat Dallas. Miami is not very good. The Bills are a better team (but obviously have a worse record). The Bills aren’t losing to a Herbert-less Chargers or a 2nd Pats game. It just won’t happen. They just don’t have the luxury of losing focus like earlier in the year. You’ll have to win in Miami which won’t be easy but they’ll be ready and Josh owns them.
  3. The Bills SHOULD catch Miami at this point. I know that there are no “sure things” but I’d be shocked if the Bills lost to Easton Stick or Bailey Zappe in “must-win” games. This week will be tough but they are playing Dallas at the right time. Last week was a huge emotional win for Dallas vs. their hated rival. This week has to be a bit of a letdown from an emotion standpoint. It’s a bit of a trap game for Dallas. Miami is not beating the Jets, Baltimore and Dallas. They will lose at least one of those. That means that the Bills play for the division in early January.
  4. I agree with you Gunner. To take it a half step further, his ability to play multiple positions make him an ideal candidate to be active on game days. It allows the team some flexibility with other game day decisions.
  5. This hasn’t been talked about enough (especially with the win at KC). If Herbert is out, the Bills SHOULD beat LA and NE. With a win this week, they should be playing for the division in week 18. It’s possible, without a win this week, that the Bills are playing for the division in week 18. The Chargers game has felt like a potential trap to me all year. If there is no Herbert, it’s a game that you MUST win with the stakes as high as they’ll be. I’m with @RiotAct. They’ll be out of the playoff picture if they aren’t already. Why would you bring back the QB, that you just paid a bazillion dollars to, for the last few meaningless weeks, with a broken finger on his throwing hand? What’s the best case scenario? If they string together a few losses, they increase their draft positioning as well. It makes ZERO sense to bring him back if the injury requires surgery.
  6. You take the ball against Mahomes!! Play from ahead!!
  7. You mean an “SEC” guy? I’ve been to a bunch of SEC games (maybe 20). At least half of them featured 2 SEC teams. They still chanted it 😂😂😂.
  8. This is spot on! People will create whatever narrative best fits their perspective. It isn’t that one is necessarily right or wrong, it’s the hyperbole and extremes that people use to emphasize that point that are annoying. It’s a little like that with Josh on Twitter too. The difference is the people on the negative side don’t have much more than “he has a lot of turnovers.” There are so many counters based on TD: turnover. Anyone informed can pretty easily embarrass the “anti-Josh crowd.” The McDermott one is much tougher. You can make a strong case on both sides. I fall to the “he was the right guy to build a program but the wrong guy to win a championship” side. That isn’t necessarily right or wrong. If you said “he is killing them,” you could make that argument easily. If you say, he’s the best coach since Marv, you could easily make that argument as well. You’re seeing it within this thread.

  10. If you read later posts my opinion is NOT only based on press conferences. I know a lot of people at OBD. I don’t know anyone at the Pats (at least at the moment). One of my closest friends played for BB for 6 seasons. A lot of my BB opinions are from what he has told me. He liked him a lot.
  11. Lol, you know what I mean. I’m talking about that dad with the tucked in polo shirt, khaki shorts, and dad shoes. He may or may not have his cell phone clipped to his belt with some ankle socks. He shakes your hand, but deep down thinks that you’re a bad person for no real reason. When his kid gets caught with alcohol, weed or whatever his initial instinct is that it’s your fault 😂😂.
  12. Shocking that you’d be the one to have an issue with my opinion 🙄. As you may or may not know, I have many contacts within that building (both past and present). I also follow the Bills very closely. My opinion, based on all of that, is that he’s a bit fake. Sorry that you have an issue with my opinion…
  13. What a great win for cheaters everywhere
  14. I’ve spent my 20 year-career reading people. It isn’t necessarily the words that they say, it’s body language, tone, intent, cadence, confidence, etc… Authenticity is one of the most important qualities in a person. He lacks that. McDermott always felt like a bit of a fraud to me. He seemed like that friend’s dad that you didn’t really like growing up. He felt like he’d be nice to your face but deep down didn’t want you around his kid. One of the least surprising things about this article was the part about him being annoyed that the WRs bought Chad Hall that truck. That feels “on brand.” This isn’t meant to be a comparison but do you think Mike McDaniel would care if his WRs bought their coach a truck? That guy feels REAL. That’s not meant to say “McDanel = good and McDermott = bad.” I think that we’d all agree that McDaniel feels more authentic than McDermott. I do not think that McDermott was “admiring” the terrorists. He isn’t evil. He’s just fake. I think that he poorly chose his words. He has spent the last half-dozen years trying to keep things tight within OBD. I believe that he believes that’s what’s best for the team. I also believe that it’s because he doesn’t want all of “the truths” out there. It’s a little of that too. I don’t want him gone because he said something stupid in 2019. I want him gone because isn’t the guy to take this team across the finish line IMO.
  15. Lol, I can’t understand, for the life of me, why the Bills would be interested in this. But alas…
  16. For me, it is unequivocally yes. I believe that he is a top 10 WR now. There are other good receivers in this class for sure. He certainly has the highest floor (if you care about that in round 1). MHJ won’t be Quentin Johnston but Malik Nabors might be. It depends what you’re looking for. If the Bills could get MHJ (extremely unlikely) they’d have the best weapons in the league. You’d elevate your offense to that level without any more cap investment.
  17. He’s Calvin Johnson or Andre Johnson IMO. He is 1,200 and 10 TDs tomorrow. Generally, I agree. Flowers, Johnston, Addison and JSN were all thought of in the same tier. The same goes the year before with Olave, Wilson, etc… MHJ is different than that. He’s a tier above everyone else with a MASSIVE floor and ceiling. His floor is Tee Higgins or Devonta Smith. His ceiling is one of the all-time greats. It’s certainly an expensive investment but there’s virtually no risk with him (outside of an injury which everyone is at risk for).
  18. I would think that’s roughly the cost. My thinking is that you’d have at least 5 years on his rookie contract. You have the best WRs in the league as long as Diggs remains as he is. After MHJ’s rookie contract you can move on from Diggs (if not sooner). With as expensive as WRs are, this move would position the Bills well moving forward.
  19. Total hypothetical: Let’s pretend MHJ somehow falls to 5. This is highly unlikely but for the sake of this question, we will imagine. Let’s say that the Bills pick is like 18. Would you trade your 1st, 2nd, next year’s 1st and like a 2025 4th for him? I’d do it without blinking but wondering what others think?
  20. Good topic: - 13 seconds (this one in unanimous) - Vikings Game (I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a team in position to kneel actually lose) - Peterman game (he thought that the worst QB ever was a viable option as a starter. It went as anyone with eyes would have expected) - Patriots game this year (you played a game that you had to win against the worst team in the league) There are so many other failures to consider.
