The other part about 2025 is that you’d have lots of cap space to fill whatever needs you had. While you would sacrifice some picks, you could use the space to fill holes. You would have your QB, #1 WR and LT all under contract. Those are the most costly positions on offense. You could overpay if needed on elite talent (especially a pass rusher).

I think that I’ve officially gotten to the point in the offseason that I’ve convinced myself that the Bills are trading up for Marvin Harrison Jr. It just makes sense. You rarely get the chance to marry (desperate) need, with a generational talent, at the 2nd most important position, on a rookie deal.

PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion

Sure They are in the East Club. There are 2 levels to it, 200 & 300. These are in the lower of the 2 levels. They are at about the 10-15 yard line. They’re covered and heated. They are wider padded seats too. I tried to attach the view from the seats but it is too big. -
The Draft is a Total Crapshoot (Per Science)
Kirby Jackson replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
I saw a stat years ago when the Patriots were good at drafting. I’m going to have the details wrong but the concept will be right. They made something like 60 trades at or around the draft (over like a 10 or 15 year period). People would say, “the Patriots always trade down to get more picks.” It ended up being like 19 trade ups, 22 trade downs and 19 trades for players. It was almost equal across the board. That made sense to me and screams, “let the board determine your decisions.” -

I buy it as a concept. I think it primarily applies after the top 20. I’ll use the extreme example in MHJ. The chances of him failing are very small. Now, if you want to say that Legette and Baker for example is a coin flip, sure. I think there are high floor and low ceiling prospects. There are also boom or bust guys. Those type of guys I’ll buy that you’re better off with 2 swings than 1. -
PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion

I’m not saying that it is or isn’t true. I do believe that this scenario presented is a real one. People that sit lower level, near midfield, will have the opportunity to move into the field club. That is the equivalent location. It is obviously a lot more than they currently pay but that was always going to be the case for that real estate. I think it is only on one side of the field (but not sure). If they don’t elect to do that they will keep their priority as other seats open. Basically, there isn’t going to be regular 100 level seating between the ‘40’s (at least on one side of the field). -

PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion

We figured closer to the goal line would drop the cost. I’m at like the 10 and it went from $20k to $15k. That just was released today. They still have more sections closer to the end zone. It may still go down but this felt like a small win. We moved one section from where we would have been and saved $20k on PSLs and $2k on the tickets. Considering a week ago, and 1 section over, it would have been $20k more in PSLs it felt like a win. -

The tickets are $4850 on top of that in the new stadium. I think they’re like $2500-$3000k now. I have 2 and my brother has 2. Right now, I paid the down payment for 2 and pay on my current 2. As of June, I’ll pay $700something a month until 12/1/26 for the license fee. -

It feels like a small win. I was thinking that it was going to be $20k per but holding out worked. They called immediately. We moved to the next section over. We saved $10k in license fees and like $1k in tickets annually. My brother did too because we are together. Someone had asked on the payment structure too. It is 20% today and then the rest is divided evenly until December 1, 2026 (interest free). -

Just released some East Club seats with $15k PSL. I’m locked in -
I just think that getting one of those top 3 is worth the investment. I believe MHJ is a top 10 NFL WR right now. If I can get that on a rookie deal, sign me up!! I’ll allocate the rest of my cap savings to pass rush and whatever else we need. The flexibility of a top end number 1 on a rookie deal is too much for me to pass on.

I guess that I’m less concerned with S. They can get by with what they have now and draft one in the 4th. They would have Edwards, Rapp, Cam and a pick. My goal though is to sign Justin Simmons post June 1. Either way though, S isn’t a spot to use prime assets on. It’s not an expensive position. There is a gap between Thomas and the top 3 IMO (although I like him). WR is infinitely more important than their other needs. You address that to the best of your ability before you worry about anything else. I’m not saying, “skip Odunze because you might get a lesser safety.” I just don’t care. Needs to me look like: WR1 WR2 everything else
-
I don’t see any questions or periods of adjustment with the big 3. That’s a big reason why I want the move up. This holds especially true for MHJ. He’s 1200 yards & 8+ TDs as a rookie. WR translates pretty easily. Any of the 3 is WR1 in the first day and a difference maker. The only concern for me on a big trade up is that it still leaves a hole at WR2. There are still some FAs and guys that will be around in round 4. I don’t think that they have another pure boundary WR on the roster (unless Shorter comes out of nowhere). If they’re using their 2nd as part of the package to go up you’re going to be thin on the boundary. I guess that if they go up into the top 10, my hope is that they can preserve 60 in this draft. Maybe the package is something like 28, 128, ‘25 1st & ‘25 Vikings 2nd. They could then use 60 to get a guy like Pearsall. Now, you’re in a good spot at WR and a GREAT spot financially at the position.

Who should the Bills draft at #58? - TSW Mock Draft 2.0

This ^^ If you want to go back, you need to be careful. This mock is not ideal for the Bills. -

I believe that you are correct. Basically, people that currently sit lower level, at midfield, have the opportunity to go into the field club. That’s the pricing there. It includes food and non-alcoholic beverages but the seats aren’t covered or heated. You also can’t see the game from the club. -

Falcons and Vikings potential pick swap?
Kirby Jackson replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe, but they could make the point that the tampering wasn’t just a violation of the rules but damaging to the Vikings. It’s like a civil case as opposed to a criminal case. I’m not sure anything happens but interesting nonetheless. -
After drafting Franklin here, I’d call the Vikings and offer them the next 2 picks plus our 2025 first for Jefferson. Make them say no. If they say no, call SF & Cincy and offer the next pick + Bills 2025 2nd for Ayiuk and Higgins.

TSW 2.0 Poll - Who should the Bills draft at 41?
Kirby Jackson replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Franklin -
Ladd & Baker or Legette and Pearsall are both great outcomes to me. I like Polk too. Burton & Walker have a couple too many questions but would jump at either in the 4th. There are lots of options. I have gone back and forth on the best way to do this. It’s changed since the Diggs trade too. For me, getting one of the top 3 is option 1. You’re getting a number 1, with limited questions, on a rookie deal. Yes, you’ll spend draft capital but tell me a better use for it than getting Josh a number 1 on a rookie deal? Yes, the Bills need pass rushers too but can throw cap space at it next year and/or whatever draft capital is left. My second choice is 2 in the top 60 with complementary skill sets. They have to have a guy that can contribute now and can gamble on a high ceiling guy.

I think that I agree here. With the Bills resetting the cap next year though, it could make sense. It could be both as well. If the Bills make the deal referenced above (for example) they can still take a guy at 28 because they have a starting spot available. If you added Ayiuk (for example) you can take a higher upside guy with some question marks at 28 (Mitchell, Legette or gasp, Coleman). I’m not advocating for it but could certainly get behind it. Ladd and Legette would be really nice IMO.
