  1. The only thing that we know definitively is that they sold out of the $50K PSLs. There were 450 of them. I think that they were calling it the Legend’s Club. Everything else is speculation.
  2. I saw them. They looked pretty sweet. Food and Pepsi products are included so that’s a nice bonus. You can’t see the field from inside of the club which is different from the other 2 club areas but still looks like a great area. The team (not sure if it’s one or both) come out from the locker room right in front of the club. That’s a nice touch too. It’s like that in Vegas (I think) too.
  3. Fair enough I guess, any of those guys (along with Newton) would be playing no more than 40-50% of the snaps. On the edge Von, Rousseau and Epenesa will play a lot. Jonathan and Toohill will play some too. On the interior, Ed O, Daquan, Austin Johnson and Deshawn Williams will all play. Obviously, a 1st will play quite a bit but the point being, they’ll be fine either way. Could they be better? Sure. On the boundary, they are lacking 2 starters and 200 targets. Those guys are going to play, at minimum, 80% of the snaps. They’re going to have the ball thrown to them, A LOT. When Allen is the reason that you win or lose, you need to support him so that he doesn’t have to keep doing it all by himself.
  4. So we are prioritizing a rotational DL above a #1 (and #2 for that matter) WR? The Bills still have about 200 targets unaccounted for and no boundary WRs (except Hollins & Shorter). Sorry, I don’t see it. As far as needs right now, I see it as: WR1 WR2 everything else
  5. None with you either 🍻🍻. We all want the same thing.
  6. He’s not complaining about anyone. He’s saying, “that’s the nature of the league.” Bills fans have had the best value in the league for generations. Now, they are going to be more in line with everyone else. We all should enjoy what we pay now because in 2 short seasons it’ll be double. That’s the market rate for NFL tickets. Bills fans pay those prices already when they’re on the road taking over opponents stadiums. Whining that we are now going to pay market rate is what he objected to.
  7. The guy has almost 34,000 posts on a team message board. Are we now questioning the dedication of @eball because he is okay with the pricing getting more in line with the rest of the league? 😂😂 That makes him less of a fan??
  8. I find this baffling. Help me understand. The Bills have plugged in a variety of guys over the McDermott era and have been more or less the same. They’ve played extended periods without Poyer, Milano, Tre, Von, Hyde, etc… The scheme has had them more or less the same defense regardless of who is out there. They play a conservative zone where they try to avoid big plays and keep the game close. Why do we think, with most of the same guys (minus Poyer, Floyd & Hyde plus Milano) that they will be significantly different? Sean McDermott’s defenses are always about the same. Explain why I should be scared? If the answer is “pass rush” they may need to generate more with the blitz but outside of Floyd (who disappeared late in the year) what’s changed? The offense has to replace their number 1 and number 2 WRs from last year (not to mention their 4th & 5th). Those 2 guys account for like 250 targets. They added a special teamer and a gadget guy. Why are we comfortable that it’ll work with no boundary WRs on the roster except Shorter and Hollins? The Bills still need 200ish targets from guys not on the roster. It’ll be so easy to defend them right now with no outside threats. There is a Grand Canyon-sized chasm between the need for offense vs. the need for defense right now. Help me understand how you’re comfortable with the offense but not the defense?
  9. The Bills currently have the 4th lowest odds to win the Super Bowl. As long as Josh Allen is with the Bills they are in Super Bowl contention. How they address WR determines if they become “more likely” or “less likely” as the season approaches. That’s the only thing left that’s a needle mover one way or the other.
  10. Not to mention why should anyone tell other people what to support or not support?
  11. Appreciate the advice as to what we should do with our money.
  12. He averaged 2 catches and 20 yards more per game than me last year. The good news is that we caught the same amount of TDs on the season. Is this a serious question? That guy sucks. He’s done. Of course he isn’t worth a roster spot.
  13. For sure!! The memory is a little fuzzy but I think that the company heated the pitches in England. They had never done seats before. They tried to bring the technology to the seats. It worked for a little while but they started to break. Fixing them was costly. Then the company when bankrupt and parts were gone. Disaster
  14. That’s 100% true. They hadn’t done it before. They tried to fix them for a few years but it didn’t work. The company went out of business and they went to the radiant heat. There were a couple of years of neither actually (maybe around 2005).
  15. Just found the “in seat heating” to be vague. Maybe you meant that the heaters within the seats didn’t work. On that, we agree. It’s been over 20 years since the Bills sold that as a benefit and like 18 years since they last tried to service them. Not sure why that’s a talking point? It was replaced with radiant heat, maybe 15 years ago and that works great. “In seat heating” encompasses both. One works fine (radiant heat). One was a disaster (heated chair backs) that ended 2 decades ago. Just clarifying for those trying to understand the whole picture without any sort of agenda being injected.
  16. Um, no it’s not. The seat heaters were a disaster. They hired a company out of Europe that hadn’t done it before. They broke at alarming rates. Over the last 15ish years, the radiant heat has been above the seats. It works well. I sit directly under it.
  17. I don’t know if it translates everywhere but it did for me.
  18. Posted this in another thread but thought it needed to be here too.
  19. I 100% agree that it’ll be tough to find a trade partner. I think though that it’s a very safe bet that they make the calls.
  20. I think that he can be packaged to trade up. I think it’s realistic that if you package him with pick 189 you can get to 188.
  21. I’d probably need 5 firsts including the first overall pick with a “can’t miss QB” prospect in the draft. I’m not talking Trevor Lawrence. I’m talking Andrew Luck / Peyton Manning level prospect.
  22. That’s all fair. I think Minnesota goes to 4 and takes McCarthy (😂😂). The Chargers and Giants both become viable trade partners at that point. Think how many offensive guards Harbaugh could draft with 2 firsts, 2 seconds, a fourth and a fifth!! That gives him 6 swings at a LG to replace the one that they drafted at 17 two years ago.
  23. Fair. I guess what I meant earlier with the “anyone they want” comment was more about quality than quantity. If they want to pay Josh Sweat (for example) they can. It isn’t a year where they’re going to add 7 starters in FA but they can play in the top of the market if there is a guy that they need. That’ll hold especially true with no 1st.
