  1. I’d rather Kessler than Peterman (not that either is very good).
  2. With the 10th pick the Oakland Raiders select Denzel Ward, CB, The Ohio State University.
  3. KC’s loss is our Gaines? (Thank you I will be here all week)
  4. At Jon Gruden’s request the Raiders will be using a draft board from 1998. We’d love to move up for a shot at Manning or Leaf but will settle for a quality RB prospect like John Avery (smokescreen we really like Terry Fair but don’t tell anyone).
  5. As soon as O’Korn said this he was admitted into concussion protocol.
  6. I think Shea Patterson emerges as the guy in 2019 but that class is meh. This class is going to be way better.
  7. I think their OL is better, Tyrod/Darnold > McCarron/?, if they draft Barkley RB will be close (and they have better depth with Hyde & Duke), they are way better at LB too. We have the advantage at DT.
  8. So you like McDermott over Jackson and that’s fine. I do too. By the time the draft is over where else do you think that the Bills will be better?
  9. ...the Bills (ducks) I said last year that I would trade rosters and situations with them. In 2 years that will look like a no-brainer. The Browns are better than us now everywhere but the secondary and the backfield. If they draft Barkley that gap closes as well. They have talent. They just happen to be the Browns so...
  10. Virgil, I will be on the golf course but would like in. I don’t care which team I get. Even if it is the last choice. I’d just like to play.
  11. He visited there yesterday. Butler probably. The Bills don’t just need “a” guy though. They absolutely have the worst pass catchers in the league. If they are going to bring in a young receiver they better bring in some guys that can make plays.
  12. He only had 16 targets. Snead has averaged 13.2 ypr in his career. Landry was at 8.8 last year. Coleman is a really frustrating player because he has a lot of ability but the production doesn’t match. Butler would be a nice add as well. The Bills are just so incredibly thin at WR thought that it was worth the conversation.
  13. Yeah, no compensation though. The Saints can match but if they don’t you don’t give anything up.
  14. I’m of the belief that he can be an asset to the Bills. I know that he isn’t the fastest guy but is a good receiver and the Bills still needs quality players. Snead is coming off of a down year but can be an upgrade for the Bills. Thoughts??
  15. That’s what I took from it to Shady. That injury may not be as far along as they hoped.
  16. I thought he was an upgrade from Watkins?
  17. Hogan’s numbers this year were pretty similar to his time in Buffalo. Watkins were worse. Goodwin and Woods improved but Goodwin was a number 1 in a receiver friendly system. His numbers were going to go up. You can add Thompson and his $2.5M to the list as well. The point is that they all signed for more money than people projected. They weren’t held back. They made more money than anticipated PRIOR to going elsewhere. They weren’t held back. Matthews isn’t being held back either. He just isn’t that good. He was a function of volume when he had success. He WAS 4th on the Eagles depth chart when they dealt him. He is a JAG.
  18. You are missing the point then. Guys like Levi Brown, Brian Brohm, Jeff Tuel are the types of prospects that compare to Peterman. They were extreme long shots (outside of Brohm) that looked terrible. Those guys don’t get he same rope as the 1st overall pick!!!
  19. 1 one was picked 1st overall, 1 was picked 2nd. That’s 170 picks ahead of Peterman. I would say that it’s fair to believe that they were more highly thought of prospects wouldn’t you?
  20. Yeah, it really hurt Woods, Watkins, Goodwin and Hogan as well. Those guys all signed at the beginning of FA (except Watkins who was traded) and were paid above their projected market value. Matthews isn’t signed because he’s not a good player. He has no skills that differeniate him. He’d be smart to go to GB on a cheap “prove-it” deal and hope Aaron Rodgers can make him look better than he is. As of right now though the league is speaking pretty loudly on their thoughts regarding him. Remember, a year ago the Eagles were trying to give him away as he was 4th on their depth chart.
  21. I don’t remember it but would love to participate as well!!
