  1. Just to be clear, I’m not saying that Rudolph’s numbers are completely a reflection of the guys around him. The point was more, the other guys don’t have great weapons (at all). Rudolph’s top 2 receivers will be amongst the top 10 (or so) receivers drafted. They are definitely better than what Allen was working with (for example).
  2. I would think that those conversations would be had prior to a trade being consumated. No team is going to trade for him without the assurance that he is there moving forward. They make the most sense IMO.
  3. Good trade for the Jags IMO. Kessler can be the #2 at a cheap price.
  4. It’s certainly a big price but you’d be checking QB & #1 WR off your list of needs. You can sign Bowman and draft a LB at 56.
  5. OBJ & pick 2 for 12, 22, 53, 65, 2019 1st and 4th
  6. Send him our thoughts and prayers!!
  7. This makes sense. Do you think that any of these QBs, besides Rudolph, were propped up by the talent around them? I don’t necessarily but think Baker’s OL helped.
  8. This holds especially true when you factor in his receiving skills. Shady is our best pass catcher now, imo and Bell is even better at that. He could be a 1,300 yard back with 70 catches to go along with it. Outside of Shady our skill players are bad. Bell could cover a lot of that taking over for McCoy.
  9. Okay, I’ll bite, what about Bell as our big ticket FA signing next offseason?
  10. That’s why the source is important. If this guy has given information before that has proven accurate his is to be taken more seriously IMO. He may very well be connected to someone in that building.
  11. I don’t think it’s a matter of them “wanting” it out there. The smokescreen stuff is all BS IMO. Everyone knows that the Bills want a QB and everyone will speculate on which guy. I’ve seen reports that the Bills love any of the top 5. There is so much out there that it’s just a matter of digging through to find out who is credible. This guy would seem credible as he has provided a bunch of other info that they don’t want out there that came true. It may not happen but it certainly makes sense. Agreed
  12. I don’t think that there is any chance he makes it to 12 for the reason that you mention. If he makes it by 5 you will start seeing the Bills trying to jump in (if he is their guy). They will start at 6, then 7, then 8, until they have a deal. The absolute best case scenario would be Baker without all of the draft capital. I love the idea of Baker in a Bills uniform.
  13. Bledsoe after his first 8 games: 18-22, completed 57.87% of his passes, threw for 191.28 yards per game, 39 TDs, 38 INTs and lost 13 fumbles. That doesn’t have account for what a statue he was in the pocket. By far, the player that Bills fans remember WAY more fondly than they should.
  14. It’s Flutie, Taylor, Fitz, field This poll proves my point that Drew Bledsoe is the most overrated Bills player ever. If you take out his first 8 games his numbers are like Losman or EJ. He was terrible but Bills fans have forgotten.
  15. Oh please no Johnny!!! I want to love you forever!
  16. Just fantastic work as always Bandit!!
  17. Yep, much better. I’d be in then.
  18. Next year’s draft is loaded with ELITE front 4 players. Pass rush is the 2nd hardest thing to obtain. The last 2019 mock I saw had 12 DL going in the 1st round. The Bills pass rush stinks currently. I would much rather have a top end DE prospect in 2019 than a solid guy at pick 56. I actually think that our 2019 1st round pick is the best asset that we have. I’d use all 6 top 100 picks this year before including that pick.
  19. I’m between option 1 and 3. I’d rather use pick 56 and a pick next year instead of the 2019 1st. That’s a dealbreaker for me.
  20. Yep, and they got caught in a game of musical chairs without a chair. They certainly had no plan for Jimmy G. It looks like a home run for the 49ers. Brissett to me is is the new AJ McCarron. A young QB that looks like a really good backup and a potential starter. Those guys have a lot of value as you can see by the trade offers on both. Competent, young, inexpensive QBs have a lot of value in today’s NFL.
  21. I’ve called him a scrub for a while. He’s way closer to scrub than potential starter!! He played THE WORST HALF OF FOOTBALL AN NFL QB HAS EVER PLAYED in his 1st try!! Think about that. We didn’t defend Tuel or Brohm or Brown or anyone like this and they were all WAY better when given the chance. It’s not personal at all; it is real. It is the truth. I thought that he was okay vs. the Colts and made a few good throws. However, his accuracy was way overstated, his arm strength isn’t good enough and his pocket presence is terrible. He gets rushed, makes poor decisions and doesn’t have the arm to overcome them. He certainly didn’t get help from DiMarco (who is also overrated) but there was another potential pick 6 that a DB dropped in that game. I thought when they drafted him that Peterman had a chance to be the long-term number 2. That was a good use of a 5th round pick IMO. He was never going to be the guy but that’s fine. It is an important position that he was filling (see: Foles, Nick). At the moment I think he’ll be lucky to be on a roster. If the Bills take a guy early Peterman will be a distant 3rd on the depth chart and a waste of a roster spot. That isn’t uncommon though. The Saints cut Grayson after a season and he was a 3rd. The Jets could have (and should have) cut Sackenberg after a year. If a guy stinks, he stinks.
  22. Ha ha ha, well played!!! I think that you are right though. He will be trying to get in that range. My guess is that (if healthy) he will be around 1,000 yards and 8 TDs. That gets you paid.
  23. I tend to agree with you. Benjamin isn’t the “difference maker” that those other guys are. He isn’t explosive enough. If he’d take 4 years $40M with $20M guaranteed (or something like that) I would be good with it. If he starts creeping up in AAV though I’d move on.
