  1. Adding up the various Twitter rumors we probably want the Browns to take Darnold. That increases the odds that the Giants either trade out or take a different position (Chubb being my guess).
  2. It feels like Lavar Ball is advising Lamar!! Who could possibly advise him that it’s a good idea not to run the 40?!? He didn’t want to pay an agent a cut of his contract but these mistakes may cost him more than the 10% or whatever. He could have run VERY fast and it may have moved him up 15 spots or so. Let’s just use the Bills as an example. Let’s assume that he has been the Bills guy but they now think they can get him at 22 instead of 12. It’s the difference of about $3.3M in guaranteed dollars. At pick 22 you make 78% of what you would at 12. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/jasonbelzer/2017/04/28/2017-nfl-draft-1st-round-rookie-salary-projections/amp/ At the end of the day, it may not impact where Jackson goes but he is receiving AWFUL advice.
  3. This is so good!!
  4. Next year’s draft, outside of QB, should be a much better draft than this IMO. 2019 will be LOADED with elite DL prospects. That is the 2nd hardest thing to obtain. The Bills could regress as well. I’d use whatever from this draft before including that pick. If Cleveland is the trade partner though they’d much rather add again in 2019 as they have a lot this year.
  5. I tend to agree. I wonder if other teams are having the same struggles scouting him that the Steelers are? They were saying that it’s easier scouting small school kids.
  6. He’s filling the “void” left by Shareece Wright?
  7. The Bills receivers are so, so bad. This group is tragic. Hopefully they can add Bryant for a 4th and land Anthony Miller or Dante Pettis in the 3rd. They need a 1 or 2 and another top 4 at the very least.
  8. Ha ha, he could have said 5.51 and it would have applied!!
  9. Yeah, he’s a special athlete.
  10. I’ll book that bet for you. I’ll give 3:1 he is gone before the 3rd. Hell, I’ll give 10:1. That’s free money.
  11. This pro day will be huge for him. He’s a guy that, like Allen, has an enormous ceiling and a low floor. If he has a big day he could slide into the top 10. If he has a poor day he could fall to the end of round 1, maybe even round 2.
  12. I love his skill set. He reminds me of Martavus Bryant. I’d venture to say that the window to draft him could be pretty wide. He’s a guy that can probably go anywhere from round 2-5.
  13. They just love Allen. They think Ben is done after this year. Funny random story, they are having a hard time breaking down EQ St. Brown because of how bad Wimbush is. Apparently it has been one of the most challenging scouting reports that they have had to put together.
  14. Haha, this would be one of my DREAM scenarios. Baker is high on my list, they preserve the 2019 1st and 4 top 100 picks. I guess everyone is different.
  15. They love Allen. I don’t think it’s realistic now but there was a possibility of them moving up for him.
  16. I can tell you, with certainty, that they are in the market for a QB. That doesn’t mean that they will pull the trigger but it is very much on the table.
  17. I don’t mean to be snippy. It’s just a giant pet peeve when people lump old decisions in with today. The only thing that we can judge these guys on so far is the last 14-15 months. They have done everything to target a QB in 2018. They added the extra 1st, 2nd and 2 3rds (one of which they traded). They cleared the deck with cap space. We should assume that they will continue to execute their plan until proven otherwise. Innocent until proven guilty...
  18. They ran with Tyrod because he was their best option. This year they have other options and ammo. Decisions aren’t made based on a franchise’s history!! Each decision is made based on the here and now. Each season and situation is different. The “same ole Bills” narrative is tired and inaccurate. They will ALWAYS make the decisions that are in the best interest of the franchise. 2018 happens to be the year that they planned to chase a QB. That hasn’t changed.
  19. What does the “history of OBD” have to do with this regime’s 2018 draft plans?
  20. 12 & 22 for 5, they can get a good player at 12 and Rudolph at 22. That ain’t happening. The Bills aren’t going to sit on their hands if these guys are sliding at all. They are going to jump up and get their guy even if it is viewed as an overpay.
  21. We will miss you when you are gone.
  22. I love Leonard!! He’s one of my draft man crushes on day 2. He’s going to be a good player.
  23. I agree with most of this (although pass on Baker). He’s a great athlete with no production. I don’t want a CB but I’m a big fan of Ward. He isn’t the perfect fit in our scheme but that secondary could be ridiculous (like Seattle good).
  24. Just watched the long breakdown of Jackson on Path to the Draft. He’s a special talent. He has a high ceiling and a low floor. He is an option at 12 but will need some time and Daboll to be creative. That Eagles offense is the exact scheme to maximize Lamar. If someone replicates the RPOs that they ran Jackson will be lethal.
  25. Oh certainly, you'd be making a commitment and a big one. You’d have to be comfortable with that. They have no issues fitting the contract in, it’s just a matter of being okay paying that price.
