  1. Great topics JMC!! I like your predictions too. -The Bills take a RB before the end of rd 3. -The Saints take Lamar Jackson -Josh Jackson & Kolton Miller will be the last 2 in the green room (excluding Shaq Griffin).
  2. It depends what you like. If passing yards is your thing then no. If you like any yards, TDs and less INTs combined with a better record than he is. Troll on though bro.... Also, you and I had a bet that if Tyrod Taylor made $10M this year you wouldn’t post here anymore so bye...
  3. Not this draft (with the exception of maybe Chubb). Next year though will be for pass rushers what this draft is for QBs. You could land a star in that role in 2019.
  4. I didn’t start the conversation. I just don’t like when people lie so i check them. If you tell me turnovers and punts are the same I will call you out. If you say that the turnover battle doesn’t matter I will say that 78% of the teams that win the turnover battle win the game. If you don’t want me to chime in, don’t lie. His numbers are better than Tannehill as is his record. So you are definitely wrong (again).
  5. His record was above .500 going into last year. Unless you want to give Matt Cassel credit for taking 1 snap on a trick play (and Tyrod did start anyways). So you’re wrong. You debating that that he is a solid game manager is why I keep coming at you. There are a million things to support it including his $18M salary. He’s Tannehill or Dalton. We all agree that you can upgrade but to pretend that he is EJ or Losman just makes you look like you have an agenda. There is nothing that supports it.
  6. So, it’s intutitive? Your point might hold true if the Bills didn’t win more than they lost with Tyrod starting. Before you go into some rant about “they won despite him” they lost every game that he hasn’t started the last 3 years until Indy this year. So they barely beat an awful football team, at home, in a blizzard. They have losses to a bad Jets, a bad Jags, a decent Charger and decent Bengals team (at home). The Bills didn’t win “despite” Tyrod. He was (and is) a solid game manager. He’s a guy you can win with (as evidenced by his winning record) but don’t win because of. We are all hoping that the next guy is a guy that you win because of. Your constant lumping of Tyrod in with the other scrubs is why people always go at you. Let it go or continue to absorb facts disputing all of your posts.
  7. I would, but I’m sure that you’d agree a turnover is more likely to result in a TD than a punt. If not, there are plenty of facts that can be provided to confirm. Where we differ is I don’t care about “passing offense.” I care about points and wins. I don’t care if we win like Army or Navy. Last year the Bills offense regressed but top 10 DVOA and scoring in back-to-back years is plenty good enough for me. If we didn’t have Rex ruining the defense (should have just kept Schwartz) that team could have contended.
  8. You aren’t simplifying anything!! You are making yourself look really stupid. The end result isn’t the same!! So you think that handing someone the ball at your 30 and their 30 is the same? Apparently you don’t think this is important but teams that win the turnover battle have consistently been winning 78% of the games: http://www.footballperspective.com/winning-the-turnover-battle/
  9. Except even you would agree that punting the ball 40 yards down the field > than throwing a pick 6 yards from the LOS
  10. Which result gives the ball to the opposition in worse field position? You know the answer even as you try to defend another of your piss poor takes. Punting the ball away almost always leaves the opposition with worse field position than a turnover. Turnovers happen with 10 yards of the LOS often while punts are 40 yards down the field. Keep bringing these terrible takes though. The more you try to twist things the less credibility you have.
  11. It’s a great idea!! I only post here because this is the only place that people “like” what I have to say.
  12. I’m not in Buffalo but if you aren’t going to the stadium that’s the place to be. Santoras on Transit has kind of become the place to watch important sporting events.
  13. I’m always a realist when it comes to the Bills. It is entirely possible that they are the worst team in the league this year. They are a bad football team. With that being said, this year was about getting the QB and resetting the cap. They have checked one of those boxes and are on the verge of checking the other. They really need to try to do that without relinquishing 2019 picks. If they do so, we may be talking about a good, potentially great, team going into 2019.
  14. Not by definition they aren’t. In basketball steals and throwing the ball out of bounds are both turnovers. You are relinquishing possession to the other team. One is better than the other. It’s the same thing that we are talking about.
  15. Me too!! He is a special kind of moron.
  16. This is exactly where I am (and I think where the Bills are). I don’t think that the Bills expect to be better (or the same) this year. They made this year about resetting the cap and finding a franchise QB. If they can do that I will be fine with this season regardless of the record.
  17. Absolutely not!! That’s an overpay for pick 1!!
  18. Yeah, i didn’t get the most reliable info on this.
  19. There are lots of different ways to win in the NFL. Losing the turnover battle isn’t one of them. Sam Darnold is going early because of his complete skill set. The negative on him has been ball security. It’s easier to teach him to take care of the football than to teach Baker Mayfied to be 6’4”.
  20. That’s what I was told as well
  21. You are arguing your own point. So a different QB makes a play and turns it over. Tyrod does neither. I’ll take punting over turnovers. Check the record of NFL teams that lose the turnover battle.
  22. Here it is: Chargers Colts Lions Packers Vikings Titans Patriots Bears Jets Dolphins Jags Ravens Jets Texans Pats Dolphins Bye Week 7
