That’s the point. He is AWFUL!! It was hilarious on NFL Network when they took him. Mayock and Jeremiah didn’t even know what to say. I’ve seen pretty much every snap that he has taken and know that he sucks. The Patriots also used 1st round picks on Dominique Easly and Malcolm Brown. They don’t draft well!! They have Brady.

That’s the amazing thing about the NHL. They were more concerned with keeping Edmonton happy than sticking McDavid in Boston or NY. Now they have playoff games on the golf channel and half of the US has no idea who Connor McDavid is. The NHL had a chance to develop a star in a major market and potentially attract interest throughout the country. It is mind-boggling that Bergman worked under David Stern. He was being trained by Yoda and ended up as C3P0. I hope that arena is really turning out big bucks.

I’m higher on Ray-Ray than most of you. He was the playmaker for Clemson. He returns punts and makes plays. I said it in another thread but he reminds me of the h-backs in Urban Meyer’s offense. I wouldn’t at all be surprised if he helped this team.

Can’t wait for him to wrestle Phillips.

Allen wasn’t my guy but I am glad that they committed and didn’t overspend. Edmunds is a stud that had no business being around for the Bills. Someone called him Anthony Barr and thought that was a great comparison. I liked the Phillips pick. He isn’t exposive but can be a really good 1 technique. He’s a starter. Johnson fits this defense well and is at a position of need. Neal is that “new school” hybrid which is effective in today’s NFL. Teller is a mauler. Ray Ray is a playmaker and Proehl an athlete. It wasn’t a perfect draft but the Bills are better now than they were 3 days ago. If Allen pans out this is a turning point for the franchise. The draft is a B+ for me. I would have liked a deep speed guy and a RB but you can’t have everything.

Does he get to fulfill the duties of Mr. Irrelevant should he not be able to?

I liked Switzer. He can make some big plays. I know that I sound like a broken record but this team is going to need to make some chunk plays. That’s kind of why I like Ray Ray. He can make plays in the rerun game. I just don’t see this Bills team managing long sustained drives. They will play pretty good defense. If they hit 2 big plays in a game they’ll have a chance. They need some guys that can make those chunk plays.

Agree with this, Ray Ray reminds me of the H-Backs in Urban Meyer’s system. Return kicks, quick feet, etc... For an offense lacking playmakers he’s a nice addition (although I would have preferred St. Brown). I’m still convinced that they will add some long speed.

I’d agree with this as well. I think that they are looking at Groy, Bodine, Miller and Vlad on the interior and Dawkins & Mills with Newhouse as the swing tackle. I would like to see another tackle added but we will see.

I agree 100%. They have done a nice job imo (even though Allen wasn’t my guy). They have gotten good value and plugged some needs. The point that I was making is that they definitely aren’t comfortable at WR or they wouldn’t have been talking with the top guys. I think a Denver guy is a sleeper potentially. Bandit has been screaming to trade a late round for Travis Benjamin. That’s not a bad idea either.

I like the pick. Slot Corner is a big need. There’s a good chance that he’s an upgrade from Leonard Johnson.

If we asked an objective outsider, the Bills have one of, if not THE worst WR groups in the league. They know that. That is why they brought all of those guys in for visits. They just didn’t have a shot at them.
