Sorry man, but he’s almost certainly 1 & definitely top 5. He’s considered a better prospect. That doesn’t mean that he will be better. His brother went 3 and has excelled. This kid is more highly thought of (even by his own coaches) AND has the track record of his brother’s success. Where do you expect him to be picked?

Annoyed at the negativity
Kirby Jackson replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The point is you don’t have to be a Kool-Aid drinker or overly negative. Just be honest. I loved getting Zay last year. I thought after his senior bowl performance he would be great. So far it looks like I am wrong (although he still has time). I have concerns about Allen and preferred Rosen. I hope that I’m wrong again. -

I frequent this board to discuss the Bills. I applaud what I like and question what I don’t. That doesn’t mean that I am right or wrong. It is just my opinion. I’m not going to blindly support something that I don’t agree with. I’m also not going to dump on something because of previous mistakes. I’m not going to wait for something to be good or bad to say, “I told you so” or “these guys are idiots.” At the same time I always support the Bills and hope for the best. In terms of Allen he wasn’t my first choice. I wanted Rosen. I had no issue with the price paid. It wasn’t an overpay and they got their guy. I will support him and hope that they are right. -
I’m just going to wear Allen Edmonds shoes. That way I’ve got it covered.

Position Group Ranking Post-draft
Kirby Jackson replied to Dadonkadonk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
S CB RB K DT MLB DE P OT OLB TE QB C OG WR Something like this but obviously subject to change -
I liked Preston Brown way more than most Bills fans. With that being said Edmunds is an upgrade. He is Anthony Barr. It is shocking that the Bills could get a QB and him. They are going to use Siran Neal in the sub packages. This group will be WAY more athletic than they were previously. I’m good with the LB situation. With that being said I’d love it with Brown back.

Bills Post Draft OL depth

Didn’t see the interview but I’m assuming it sounded something like this, “We’re excited about Jordan. We are excited about all of our guys. He’s worked really hard this offseason and we are confident in his abilities.” -
Tyrod Taylor turning heads in Cleveland.

I think that they win AT LEAST 6 games (I have them at 8-8). They are much better today than a year ago (but still have Hue). I’m saying late in the season. They’ll be much more competitive but not in the playoffs. The last few weeks they’ll run their future out there and see what happens. Tyrod has raised their floor and it will be up to Baker to determine their ceiling. -

I fully expect Tyrod to have success in Cleveland. He has weapons and is 1,000,000,000x better than anyone that they’ve run out there since they came back into the league. I would expect Baker to take the reigns at some point though. While Tyrod is better today than anyone on our roster today te Bills are trying to go forward. They have reached decent. Now they want to get to good. The Browns are trying to reach decent. It’s just a different situation. Allen will dictate whether or not the team goes forward or back. I don’t expect Allen to have Andy Dalton’s career. He’s going to be a star or a bust IMO. -

Really is a great summation here. The Bills are taking a step back to hopefully take 2 steps forward. This year was about clearing the cap (check) and finding a franchise QB (potentially check). The Bills have already been successful in achieving their goals. This year will hopefully be about Allen and some other young players developing. Next offseason they load up. Get a top end pass rusher in the draft, add an OT, #1 WR, TE, LB, a young RB and get ready to take the next step. -

I like this idea quite a bit. I was thinking about Sanu too. How about Shaq Lawson for Coleman or Sanu? -

He might have been the top WR in this draft. I’ve seen him mocked in the 1st in a few places next year. Michael Jasper? We drafted him though -

Yeah, it crosses the Common and Garden (although I think that it is pretty much all on the Boylston and Tremont side now). I loved Boston. I always said “if you could take everyone from Boston out of Boston it would be the best city in the world.”
