Flood insurance is usually required by the lender. It’s primarily done through the NFIP. There are maximum limits that you can carry through NFIP and everything over that has to be done with excess flood. This includes business interruption for a flood. You can’t get BI with NFIP. The premiums are tied to the flood zone. It’s independent of homeowners insurance. Your homeowners rates are tied to the losses by covered perils. The storms last year have leveled off the property rates that have been declining for the last handful of years. It is the law of large numbers. You aren’t rated on your history as much as you are how well the carrier has done in like situations.

That’s why it is called hot takes. It’s basically things that you believe that are supported with limited evidence. I’ve never thought that Derek Carr was very good and I think that this is the year that it gets exposed.

Give one quick hot take after week 1. - Derek Carr isn’t a top 25 QB

I honestly think I’m doing everyone a favor!! For those of us that think he’s terrible, we don’t have to watch him ever again. For those that are inexplicably in love with him, they get a lasting memory. It’s a win-win!! -

I’d make Nate dress like a Catholic Schoolgirl and re-enact Britney Spears’ “Hit Me Baby One More Time” video. This way he can embarrass himself one more time before I cut him the next day. Additionally it will give the Petermaniacs (including McDermott) a memory that they can turn to on those cold, lonely, winter nights. -
Who Starts At QB For Week 2? (Poll)
Kirby Jackson replied to Paulus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It comes from players, their families and friends. -
Do you think that the players will respect him if he runs Peterman out there again? Do you think that they all still respect him for doing that yesterday?

I’m in good shape but I don’t have the Ravens to use anymore.

Peterman has a career 4:1 completion to int ratio!
Kirby Jackson replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one is arguing with that. There are lot s of problems to be fixed. The easiest fix though is the QB. It is just 1 guy. All of the other fixes have a bigger chain reaction. Replacing the worst QB ever though is a decent start. -

If the next guy has AWFUL stats he will be a massive upgrade. That’s the point. It won’t take much (or anything) to improve. -
Liked him on Hard Knocks

Peterman!!

I feel vindicated because I promised Peterman would suck. That doesn’t make me happy though. It’s kind of like being found not guilty of a crime you didn’t commit. You still had to suffer through the trial (or in this case Peterman). This dumpster fire was predictable. Now, let’s just do what we need to do and hand the keys to the guy with a chance. Let’s pray that he’s the guy.

I can’t look away from car accidents either but I’d rather watch a WNBA preseason game than that scrub. He’s literally the worst QB ever!! He has already been handed more of an opportunity than anyone with his resume deserves and failed each time. Release him now and let him get his Insurance career jump started.

Brian Billick on The Bills' QB Situation

My dad insists that they don’t value speed enough. I’m not sure that I disagree. You need to make plays over the top in this league (at least sometimes). -
"QB is the only position that matters"?
Kirby Jackson replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Allen is the guy he can mask a lot of the deficiencies. Peterman amplified them. We started the worst QB in history and had the second biggest loss in franchise history. That’s not a coincidence. This team has holes, no doubt but they absolutely didn’t overpay to obtain the guy that they think will be the franchise QB. If they are right about Allen this team will be back in the next couple of years. If he isn’t that guy they will spend the next year or so figuring that out and swing again in 2020. -

Have you ever been more right about anything than your analysis of Peterman?
