POLL: The Bills' Starting QB on Sunday Will Be:
Kirby Jackson replied to Fadingpain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Anderson plays this week while Josh recovers. -
I respect Burple’s loyalty to Nate but the guy can’t play in this league. It isn’t complicated. Guys like him come and go all of the time. He just doesn’t have the tools to play QB in the NFL. It is possible IMO, that he never dresses for another NFL game again.

The ? takes are flying around on a Monday morning. If you expected a lot more out of Allen at this point you weren’t familiar with Allen prior to the draft. This was a high ceiling, low floor prospect with a massive learning curve. It was ALWAYS going to take time. Anyone passing judgement at this point is an idiot.
-
Allen wasn’t my guy but he certainly is going to get time. He was an incredibly raw rookie from Wyoming. For those of you that expected him to come out and dominate, you are idiots. That was never going to happen. We are 6 weeks into his career. The Bills aren’t taking another guy early next year. If you are trying to convince yourself that may be a possibility, don’t bother. He’s the guy through at least next year and we will see what happens. Get him some weapons and hope he develops.

Is Nate Peteman the worst QB in NFL history?
Kirby Jackson replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This Peterman thing is kind of funny to me. He is the worst player to ever put on a bills uniform. It isn’t even up for debate. But still, these a-holes love him. He has had a job that he hasn’t deserved for a year and a half. -

He is the worst player to ever put on a bills uniform. Peterman is trash. -
This team can’t make it through unscathed at this point. The defense is scary and they can’t run the ball. Haskins has been unreal and kept them where they needed to be. This is 2 straight weeks though where they let a way inferior team hang around into the 2nd half. This needs to change and soon.

Nope, nobody talked to your boy

For those of you at Christian’s I’m in a corner booth. Red Bills hat and blue Bills shirt. Come say hello.
-
Just didn’t make sense...should have been 10-15 IMO. That was a weird spread. Hope it turns for you.
-
Good luck!! Hope you hit it!!
-
I’ll pm you Something is wrong with that spread IMO. It feels WAY too obvious which is why I steered clear. I agree though. They should pound that team.

GT -2 vs. Duke Penn State -13.5 vs. MSU Washington -3 vs. Oregon Iowa State moneyline Wisconsin +9.5 at Michigan I don’t think I am going to bet today but that is what I would have played.

Cap Room Analysis requested
Kirby Jackson replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Using your example (going into next year) i will take a swing. Last year doesn’t matter to me anymore: - Ja’Wuan James $9m - Roger Saffold $8m - Brett Jones $6m - Golden Tate $13M - Robby Anderson $7M - Bradley Roby $10M I don’t know how realistic that is but think it’s a decent first pass. -
I’m a touch embarrassed to be asking this but does anyone have an extra for Sunday? We kind of forgot one guy in our group. ?

Have a room at the Royal Sonesta Galleria and a ticket in 618 row A. Ready to go!!

They aren’t going to replace his production but will be a fraction of the cost and you’d get a pick. That’s the reasoning. The Bills aren’t doing this because there are guys as good as Shady on the street. They are doing it for the asset(s) and cap space. I would keep him. I’m just not sure that they will. Shady won’t be on this team when the Bills are contenders. They may decide on cap space and an asset (or assets).
-
If they want something that I’d consider Clement and a 3rd for Shady. That gives the Bills a young back that has potential to be a number 1 and at worst is a part of a rotation. It also gives them another day 2 pick and a chance to find another starter. They’d have 2 3rds, 4ths, 5ths and 7ths. They can move around the draft board to get guys that they want. They can walk out of next year’s draft with 4 starters, some depth players and Clement.
-
This is the kind of move that makes no sense at all to me. A borderline starting OL and another 6th is not worth it. I don’t know if I’d do Wisnewski and a 3rd. While Shady may not be here after this year he still is an important piece to Allen’s development. The Bills already have 10 picks and a boatload of cap space. A swing interior OL and a 6th does nothing for me.
