  1. Heard that earlier but thought it was Brees?
  2. The answer is easy. It is Anderson until Allen is back. Peterman is actually the worst QB to ever play. He should be cut this week and another guy brought in.
  3. I honestly believe that they are going to be the 2nd best team in the west. They are scoring 140 points a night!! It won’t keep up at that pace but they are the Steve Nash Suns. Since Boogie’s injury last year they are the highest scoring team in the league. They added Randle, Payton and have a whole season of Mirotic. Additionally, they have room to add a max player (or can) next offseason. Davis is also eligible for the super-max. I put the chances of him leaving in the next 5 years at like 10% max. That narrative has been blown out of proportion by Paul Pierce and the ESPN goon-squad. I’m still close with a lot of people over there and they all laugh at the notion that he is going anywhere. It’s just noise (sorry to disappoint any of you Celtics fans @YoloinOhio).
  4. Yep!! On top of it, that’s his primary job!! It’s not like he’s a blocking back that they throw to once and a while. He’s an atrocious football player.
  5. Speaking of 60 win teams...
  6. Kelvin Benjamin!! Anytime you can pay a guy $8.5M to get you 2 catches and 29 yards a game you have to do it!! The only thing that matches that insane production is his incredible work ethic. He’s such a heady player. We are really fortunate to have him setting the tone for that young WR room.
  7. I’m not saying that he is “the worst QB ever.” I am saying that I have no interest in a 1st or 2nd and $20M for a QB that I think is no better than Tyrod. He gets baited all of the time and turns it over more than he should. This isn’t hyperbole. Derek Carr, at Derek Carr’s cost is a hard pass from me. He’s not a top 20 QB.
  8. I don’t care if they agree with me. I have zero interest in Derek Carr. He is the most overrated QB of the last decade. I guess that I need to add IMO.
  9. Hard pass!! He’s the most overrated QB of the last decade. There is no way that I’d pay that for below mediocre play.
  10. A few cities to keep an eye on in addition to the usual suspects (Portland, San Antonio, Toronto) are Louisville, OKC and Norfolk. Those are all cities that I know to have been interested in the past.
  11. There has certainly been some good with some bad. That’s the case for EVERY FO. They’ve done well with the back 7 and they’ve bungled QB & WR. The book isn’t written yet but I’m not sure any of that is up for debate at this point.
  12. KB stink and is lazy. Peterman is out of chances. He’s already been given 3 more chances than any other guy with his pedigree & performance would have gotten. He will be selling insurance as soon as he gets his license.
  13. I firmly believe that Whaley did a better job than these guys. Those teams had WAY more talent. They just had Rex. I hold coaches to record and GMs to talent. The Bills had the 21st best point differential last year and went to the playoffs. They executed in close games. It is the complete opposite of the Ryan era. The Bills are well coached now (like they were with Marone). They are the least talented roster in football and bungled the QB position in epic fashion. If Allen turns into a player it will mask the mistakes. If he doesn’t the failure will multiply. So far the Bills have have a historically bad offense. You don’t get credit for trading up for a project QB and then trading the vet because of Peterman. You don’t give your rookie QB this OL and these weapons. That is complete failure.
  14. If that’s what he sees then he isn’t seeing it. This decision can’t be influenced by his irrelevant preseason play. He is running out the least productive QB in history. I, like you, hope that he runs Anderson out there. He’s not the answer but he’s definitely not worse.
  15. Isn’t it terrifying though that he can’t see that on his own? Does he really need the leadership council to say, “hey this guy stinks?”
  16. I’m sorry but he gets baited more than any QB I’ve ever seen. He doesn’t know where to go with the ball. That’s why people keep jumping those outs. They ask him to throw it there and he obliges.
  17. Of course it matters if Nate Peterman is one of the options!! With Nate: 24-10 Colts (3 INTs for Nate) With DA: 17 - 13 Colts
  18. This is WAY worse than 2013!! The Bills got a guy in 2013 to be the caretaker and he got hurt. The Bills CHOSE to get rid of the caretaker that they signed this year (McCarron) because they thought Peterman could do the job. They created this mess by choice while 2013 was created by an injury to Kolb. You rail on Whaley every chance that you get but don’t distort the facts. The Bills were unlucky in 2013. The Bills were stupid in 2018. They also drafted receivers in rounds 2 and 3 in 2013 to support their young QB. Those receivers played along side Stevie who was young as well. They tried to give their QB some weapons. The job done this year was infinitely worse.
  19. If they wanted to start the rookie though they shouldn’t have drafted the rookie that was furthest away from being ready. Everyone knew Allen had the largest learning curve. The Bills started him out of necessity not because he was ready. If they would have had another viable option they could have put Allen in whenever they decided that he was ready. You want to be able to make that decision not have it made for you.
  20. Money wouldn’t have been an issue at all in adding Bridgewater. They wanted to keep the path clear for their 1st round guy. They bungled the situation and there really is no way around it.
  21. There is one thing that you left out. The ONLY other guy that the Bills ended up keeping was off to the worst start that a QB has ever had. While Keenum, Bradford, Kolb and McCarron have all had varying degrees of success in this league Peterman had not. The decision would be much easier to defend if they kept someone like Anderson to begin with. Having confidence in Peterman is where this thing got sideways. That’s on the FO.
  22. No hindsight from a lot of us. There are about 5 dozen posts saying pretty much this: That is exactly what happened.
  23. This disaster could have easily been avoided if they just would have cut ties with Peterman after seeing him last year. That’s what I would have done. I had seen enough. If they would have come to grips with the fact that he couldn’t play in this league they’d have had something like Allen, McCarron and Anderson. While that QB room isn’t spectacular it would have at least made sense. A vet, a young vet with some upside and a 1st round pick.
  24. I don’t believe that he is a top 100 QB. I don’t believe that it is even close. There are guys that washed out of the league already that are well ahead of where he is. Guys like Grayson and Landry Jones look like Peyton Manning next to Nate. It is mind-blowing that he is still employed in the NFL. I feel bad for him at this point. This mess falls on the FO. They have been bullish on him since he came into the league even when everyone else could see it. They have been blinded. Now, they are in jeopardy of losing the locker room with one more Peterman disaster. Do everyone a favor and release the guy. You could pick up pretty much anybody that is on the street that played QB to take his spot. Are we sure that Peterman is better than Baldwin?
