First Round Draft Pick Is ...
Kirby Jackson replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Come draft time I always think of the old adage, “you never trade a dollar for 4 quarters.” If I have a super early pick, I’m not looking at need. I’m looking for a dollar. Bosa and Oliver jump out at me (especially Bosa). Other guys may climb into that mix but get the best player at the top of the draft. -

Thought that some context would make it interesting but what do I know? -
Some terrifying Bills offensive comparisons
Kirby Jackson replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here are some more courtesy of Howard Simon: https://wgr550.radio.com/articles/opinion/read-it-and-youll-weep -
The Bills have 3 passing TDs: - Army has 6 - Pat Mahomes has 26 - Pat Mahomes has 6 games of at least 3 - There are 11 players that have at least 5x as many TD passes as the Bills - There are 30 players that have at least 2x as many TD passes as the Bills Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers have thrown 527 passes and have combined for 2 INTs. Nate Peterman has thrown 32 passes and has 4 INTs. The Bills have scored 7 offensive TDs: - Eric Ebron has as many TDs as the Bills - Tyree Jackson had 6 last night for UB. - 38 players (QBs included) have at least 7 TDs - Todd Gurley has scored more than 2x (15) as many TDs as the Bills - Pat Mahomes has 4x (28) as many TDs as the Bills The Bills have thrown for 1,405 yards. There are 27 guys that have thrown for more. The Bills have thrown 13 INTs in 242 pass attempts. Rodgers, Brady, Ryan, Alex Smith, Wentz, and Cousins have thrown 12 INTs in 1,584 pass attempts. I need to get ready for work so that’s all that I have at the moment. Feel free to add. I’m sure there are some great numbers concerning our receivers.

Get Foles, WR via FA, Draft lineman
Kirby Jackson replied to BigSky's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Based on the draft talent I think that this is how it needs to happen as well. I’d sign Saffold and James (and maybe another). There aren’t FA WR so that’s not an option. You need to draft there. -
I’m okay either way but I don’t hate the idea of a young, creative, offensive mind to bring them into this millennium. There are things I like and things that I hate about McDermott. Give me Lincoln Riley while retaining Frazier and try to keep the defense going. It is criminal to have a young, talented QB that is surrounded by this talent with no QB coach.

McDermott would be standing on a branch, risking his life, extending an arm to save Nate. -
I’m excited. Nate was great in preseason and WON the QB job. We DEFINITELY need to see more of him.

Trade Deadline Updates - Official Thread
Kirby Jackson replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, my thought is if they are pushing in this year it’s possible. They can take another one next year. Noteboom and a pick. Hughes is on a team-friendly deal for the production that he has. Pass rushing doesn’t come cheap. -

How about Joseph Noteboom and a pick? -
Golden Tate traded to Eagles for a 3rd
Kirby Jackson replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That’s my concern. He’s the guy that I thought we should have overpaid for this offseason. That FA WR market will be terrible. -
This is the best case scenario right now. This is what we should be hoping for. If we can hold the Giants hostage to come get their QB we can improve quite a bit. As a hypothetical, say that the Bills have the top pick and the Giants pick 3rd. The Bills auction of the pick for the one QB that looks like he is going early (Herbert). Maybe the Bills can get, the 3rd pick, Sterling Shepard, Evan Engram and a 2nd rounder? If the Bills could pull that off they’d turn their horrible year into: - Ed Oliver - Sterling Shepard - Evan Engram - 2 more top 35 picks

I was very wrong about Tyrod & have to own it.
Kirby Jackson replied to twoandfourteen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They win that game if Allen doesn’t go out too. The only way that they lose is if Peterman gets picked twice in the last 2 minutes. Which he naturally did. To your point though, even if Tyrod is good for a couple to 3 more wins on the year it doesn’t matter. This team is going to win 4 or 5 games. Does winning 6 or 7 make it better? I’d argue that you are better off remaining a complete train wreck in hopes of massive changes. You could replace all 5 OL and your top 2 receivers (Zay to the slot). This is really just a terrible, terrible offense. It is by miles the least talented group in the NFL. -

We are just so much more interesting than everyone else. It’s not like this for a Monday Night Game between the Ravens and the Bengals. -
Same thing happened after he left us and got stuck with that ***** QB in New England.

Should The Bills Trade McCoy
Kirby Jackson replied to Kevin1778's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I suggested yesterday McCoy and a 4th for Clement and a 2nd. Who says no?
