Agree with this He also needs to hit a few fades to keep the safeties away from the LOS. That throw he made to Benjamin (might have even been in the preseason) was the best throw that he has made in a Bills uniform. We don’t really have anyone that can get down the field but if we had a guy that could beat the press and Nate could hit him over the top it would open things up.

Teams defend that stuff. They show him the outs knowing that he can’t make them. They take the things he can do away. That’s why he’s a failure. The holes in his game can’t be schemed around. As as an example you can scheme to get Tolbert in space but it doesn’t matter. The defense is asking you to do that. They aren’t going to give Nate the throws that he can make. That’s why he has been consistently bad. He’s not capable of operating the entire playbook and NFL talent is too good for that.

Beckham, Diggs and Cooks have already re-signed. Fitz isn’t finishing his career in Buffalo and Tate is likely staying in Philly. This times 1,000,000x. People get so set in how they think a roster should be built. I always encourage people to look at the names and not the position. You don’t take QB if EJ Manuel is the best QB in the draft. You don’t focus your FA efforts on WR when there isn’t anyone to fill your need at the top of the depth chart. The talent available shapes the plan not the other way around.

Yeah, you can tell him, “don’t throw picks!!” Based on his career though if he throws 32 times he will be picked off 4. You can’t cater something for a guy that doesn’t have ability.

I think that we all want him to do well when he plays. I don’t think any reasonable person EXPECTS him to play well. That’s where I’m at with it. I’m in the “anyone but Peterman” camp because I think that pretty much anyone else would be better.

The game experience, even in meaningless games, is more important than developing on the bench. If he gets 5 more starts, we are 5 starts closer to knowing if he is the answer.

Nope, he needs to play. This year is, and was, 100% about his development. He plays and hopefully develops. He gets next year no matter what. The Bills need to find out if he is the guy as soon as they can.

Peterman is playing QB. Nickelback, Creed and Hinder stream 24 hours a day.

Hard pass on Isaiah Prince. He’s been awful this year. I’m not interested in a guy that’s regressed.

He is a player!! I saw him play a few weeks ago and he looked fantastic.

I agree with this. The whole situation got to this point because they believed Peterman was a reasonable option to start 6 weeks or so. He made it one half. Their miss on Nate is what put them where they are. If they would have brought in a viable option or kept McCarron we wouldn’t be here. Allen was forced in earlier than they wanted and Nate was so bad they had to pull Anderson off the golf course. He is now concussed so it is back to the worst QB ever with Matt Barkley behind him. It’s a comedy of errors.
