So I put in an offer on a house today
Kirby Jackson replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yeah, we sold to Marsh in October. They gave us all a bunch of money to stay (as a key producer bonus) and then big bonuses at 24 and 36 months as part of the earn out. Basically, the sale made our non-competes null and void so they didn’t want our clients to walk out the door and lower the value that they were getting. It’s worked out so far but after 2 and a half months we are starting to see little bits of “Corporate America.” I’m going to let these 3 years play out re-evaluate. -

I’ll actually be at the game. Fat Harry’s is a pretty good time for the game but the crowd may be a little sparse. -

They will say that the racial incident made it impossible for Fields to stay there. It became a hostile environment. It is like discrimination in the workplace. That’s what they will argue. -

Don’t forget the racist incident with the baseball player either. There is a lot going on with Fields. -

It is new construction. There will be an inspection and a pipe inspection as a part of it (assuming they accept my offer). There is no HOA. I have been on pins and needles all day. I’m really hoping that it works out. -

Yeah, the area was rocked during Katrina. A lot has been done since then in that area. The Sewage and Water Board maintains the pumps and such. They don’t have the greatest reputation. This area is in much better shape now. Katrina gave that area a chance to redevelop. -

Done It’s in Gentilly not far from the park. I have some friends around there. It’s where all of the young professionals (or a lot of them) are going. -

Yeah, it’s in kind of the “new” area. I’m still on the early side though. The house -
This is a total LAMP post but I’m excited. I’m recently single (after 10 years) and it’s something that I’ve been thinking about. This will (hopefully) be my first house. I will find out by tomorrow.

I have some friends that are alums. Apparently he and Fromm don’t get along either. I think that their may have been some promises from Kirby that didn’t come to fruition. -

Oh man!! That Fields and Fromm relationship is apparently a little icy. -
Cardale was a different player. He was a 7th round pick for a reason. He had huge upside but plenty of flaws. He didn’t have the touch or production of Haskins. He’s going to end up being the 1st QB off the board IMO. Gil Brandt was talking about how much the scouting community loves him last week. Haskins is squeaky clean as a prospect. He just doesn’t have a lot of starts under his belt.

Possible New RB's if Shady and Ivory are Still Wounded
Kirby Jackson replied to JMF2006's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was one of my sleepers last year. He would absolutely be my pick. -
Having seen every snap of his career I can say, with confidence, that Haskins is by MILES the best pro prospect Urban has ever had (besides Alex Smith). He typically has these zone read QBs. That’s not Haskins. He is 100% a pocket passer. He’s accurate, with a big arm. The pro scouts LOVE him. I will be surprised if he isn’t the first QB taken.

Allen's first 300 yard passing game - when?
Kirby Jackson replied to SydneyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We are in agreement. 3rd down efficiency, turnovers and the red zone matter. Do you pick up 1st downs? Do you score when you have a chance? That is what matters. Throwing for 300 or 400 or 500 yards mean nothing without those other things. -
Allen's first 300 yard passing game - when?
Kirby Jackson replied to SydneyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They really don’t matter. Ben, Ryan, Cousins, Eli and Carr are all in the top 13 and the teams are underachieving. It doesn’t correlate to wins. Red zone execution, 3rd down efficiency and turnovers correlate to wins. Yards don’t matter at all. They are fun but meaningless. -

Kirby Jackson replied to SydneyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They dont Who cares when he throws for 300 yards? Take care of the football and execute in the red zone and on 3rd down. Points matter -
He hasn’t dropped any passes (besides the 1st Peterman pick). He hasn’t caught any either. He has 3 more catches than me this year. Our running game has steadily declined since he got here and our pass protection is trash. How is he helping? Ha ha, I know it’s harsh but it was a TERRIBLE signing for the money and he hasn’t improved the team at all. He was just a mistake and there is no reason to waste a roster spot on that guy.
