  1. Agree here i think that your numbers are good @Virgil Lastly, I think that, for this exercise the Bills should stay put and we do another poll. It is too tough to manage the Bills otherwise.
  2. I’m willing to do the same. Someone can feel free to be Tom Coughlin and Doug Marrone.
  3. Thanks again Virgil!! I look forward to the one with trades. The easiest idea is to require all trades to be within 50 points on the trade value chart (or something). It gets tricky if people can trade for players but should work with picks.
  4. This is the place in that area for that
  5. I guess for me it involves players slipping a little. Oliver at 9 feels like an easy decision if he’s there (which he may or may not be). It would be great to see Fant or DK fall to the 2nd. I don’t think it’s likely but this is best case. In the 3rd get Jaylon Ferguson and trade back up for Devin Singletary. Something like that would be great IMO.
  6. I think so. I wouldn’t say a good chance which is why I went elsewhere but either of those 2 would certainly be the pick. At some point the value meets the risk. Simmons may be a top 5 talent in this draft. Obviously there are a few red flags but may be worth the dice roll. There are other options as well but I’d like to see him considered at that point.
  7. I don’t know if the Bills will pick twice in the 1st (but it’s possible). I think that they pick at least 4 times by the end of day 2. I suppose that there’s even a scenario where they pick 5 guys before the end of day 2. They could (hypothetically) trade 9 to the Raiders for 24 & 27. They could then package the 2 4ths to get back into the 3rd. How about this? 24 - Ferrell 27 - Fant 40 - Simmons 74 - Kelvin Harmon 98 - Tytus Howard This may be wishful thinking but a home run nonetheless.
  8. I don’t see any team trading for Barkley or Anderson. There are much, much better options out there. They are here because they are competent players and raise the floor in the event of an Allen injury. They also help in his development.
  9. I went with Sweat. I get the sense that the Bills want a pash rusher in the 1st. Oliver is probably the target but without him there, they could go outside to Sweat or Burns.
  10. With the 7th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Jawaan Taylor, OT, University of Florida. @wppete and the Detroit Lions are on the clock.
  11. I wasn’t arguing that but ABSOLUTELY that’s plausible.
  12. Why is anyone arguing that teams don’t go BPA? Teams absolutely do that. They build their boards accordingly and then stick to it.
  13. Devin White is a possibility imo. The Bills would be so athletic at LB that they can stay in their base more than other teams. They’d kick Edmunds to SLB. White is one of the best few players in this draft.
  14. I remember he was the like the 2nd or 3rd highest graded QB ever by scouts inc. He was in the conversation with Luck. Leaf was in the conversation with Manning. It’s crazy to think about in hindsight.
  15. If they are graded a tier higher you 100% take them.
  16. Yep, and that is with the 1st overall pick. RG3 and Leaf are 2 off the top of my head that were legit BPA after the 1st pick. It’s rare though.
  17. One thing to consider regarding the QB is that they will almost never be the BPA. They are ALWAYS overdrafted because of the position value. Punters are on the other end of the spectrum. Positional value is a bit of a factor but less now than its ever been.
  18. I am on this boat and more on it every year. You need talent everywhere and anywhere. Get the best players that you can and break ties with positions of need.
  19. Not sure what your upset about? People are reading too much into this. He came to the Bills because that’s his best chance to make an NFL roster. When you are a FA, especially a guy that’s not in the league, your first concern is a roster spot. That’s #1 on the list of needs. There are ancillary things to consider but nothing is as important as #1. When he looked at the Bills he saw a path. He did the sensible thing. I could see that!! Zay definitely isn’t a lock to make the team.
  20. I guess that we disagree then. I think that they are still looking for a guy at the top of the depth chart (hence the Antonio Brown conversation). I don’t picture them adding a guy to fight for reps. I picture them adding a potential #1.
  21. We are in agreement then. Roberts certainly counts but they COULD carry 7 if he’s one of them. That was my point there. If a guy (like Duke) earns a roster spot it isn’t necessarily at the expense of another WR.
  22. Not sure if that’s sarcasm? At any rate, Roberts won’t play much as a WR and McKenzie is fighting for a roster spot. The spot on the Bills is at the top of the depth chart. That’s why they’ll be taking a guy in the 1st 3 rounds.
  23. Do we really think that it isn’t? It doesn’t mean that he can’t carve out an NFL career (which is what he’s trying to do). He did what ANYONE with a brain would do and went to the place that he was most likely to make the team. This really isn’t complicated
  24. This is where I’m at. Devin White is going to be an absolute star. I’m taking him and kicking Edmunds outside and never looking back.
