It actually ends up being a lot of fun. It’s the first day of Jazzfest and the 1st day of the Zurich Classic. I may or may not go to one of those Thursday but almost certainly will go to Zurich Friday.

Hoping for New England

Yeah, it’s going well so far. The house is really nice. I still have a few things to do but it’s coming along. The Bills are here in 2021 maybe?

I’m thinking that I am going to host for a bunch of the Bills Backers here. There may be 10 or so over, going to smoke some chicken wings. I have a good setup for that.

I guess that’s kind of my issue with him. He actually performed worse than any QB ever. As far as I am concerned he is less deserving of another chance than any QB. I feel way worse for guys like Thad Lewis and TJ Yates that have shown some level of competency. I cheer for Peterman to be the heir apparent to Tom Brady.

My undying hatred for the player has never wavered. He is, without question, the worst player to ever put on a Bills uniform. Some people will say “that’s harsh” or “not true” but he is statistically the worst player to ever play the most important position in the game. He’s the worst, 2nd worst is up for debate...

I’m not apologizing for it.

It’s the best show that I’ve ever seen. Breaking Bad and the Sopranos are next in no particular order. I wouldn’t consider it a badge of honor to have not watched. I’d make a point to carve out some time and watch from start to finish. It’s incredible. As an aside I have a friend that hadn’t seen an episode until last week’s premiere. He’s currently in season 7 and will be current in the next day or 2. He will have watched the entire series in 10 or 11 days. I did it in 17 the first time and 26 the second time.

I can’t speak for everyone but for me it was 1,000% about Peterman. They believed he was an option. MANY people here didn’t and didn’t think Allen was ready. They were right about that. The Bills did well to get a 5th for McCarron. The Bills screwed up by allowing Peterman to start the 1st game. Both of those things are true now and were true at that point.

I would laugh so hard.

He’s always been Tannehill(ish) to me. People think (and his numbers) are better than the player that I think he is. You could do worse than Carr but I don’t think that you can win with him. ?

Jacobs crosses my mind too

I always thought Carr was way overrated. The Raiders apparently live Murray. I’m not sure that they can make it happen. My guess is that the pick is a big surprise because, Raiders. Metcalf? Hock? Wilkins? I don’t expect it to be someone that we have seen mocked that early (unless it’s a QB).

It doesn’t need to happen now but there is no reason for him to make the team IMO. He has caught 10 more balls and rushed for 8 yards more than me as a Bills player. We have the same number of TDs. Before someone goes to “he’s there to block” tell me how much worse the running game has been since his arrival? He is a terrible football player but a good leader. He no longer needs to be a leader on this team. Releasing him also saves $1.65M. This is an easy decision IMO. If you feel a NEED to get a fullback draft one late.

I tend to agree. Free Agency raised the quality of starters and in turn the 2 deep. Outside of Morse they didn’t really add any stars. They added good NFL players. This draft is about getting a couple of stars. It’s about getting guys that teams have to gameplan for. Oliver is my 1st choice but it doesn’t look like he will make it. I think pass rush or a skill player is most likely to do that. Metcalf comes with risk but also comes with potential reward. Hockenson is going to be a good and versatile player. Fant in a trade down is a potential match-up problem. The pass rushers both inside and out can have a similar impact. Devin White could make for an ELITE group of young LBs. The Bills have some options. They shouldn’t be looking for another solid starter. Those guys you find in FA.

Sure, there are perennial pro-bowlers drafted there (and even later). The point is they weren’t surefire, decade long pro-bowlers, prior to the draft. They all had some holes which made them fall. Guys that are absolute, can’t miss stars, don’t see pick 9. That’s guys like Andrew Luck, AJ Green, Orlando Pace, Patrick Peterson, etc..
