My dad is a 68 year-old “life enjoying widower” so I take GREAT offense to that. If Terry Pegula was dancing on stage with Cardi B I would say the EXACT same thing. Not sure why you have your panties in such a bunch about this? -

I think that the fact that he owns the Patriots certainly plays a part (and potentially a big one). I think that hanging around Meek Mill and Cardi B feels SO INCREDIBLY FORCED that he should be clowned on for it. He’s 78 and trying so hard to “look like one of the cool kids.” People see right through that nonsense. It’s great that he’s 78 and wants to have fun. He should be enjoying time on a yacht, at a Michelin rated restaurant, traveling the world and seeking the company of a beautiful, successful woman 25 years his junior. He shouldn’t be rolling with 30 year-old wannabe actresses and rap stars. -
Every year, the Bills have sent a gamepass log-in to my dad. He’s a club seat holder so that may be why. However, the email hasn’t yet come this year. Has anyone else gotten one? Do you know if that is still happening? It looks like tomorrow’s game is on DirecTV so I’ll be okay (i think) but need it for after that. Any guidance is appreciated....

I’m a little late to the party but booked my flight this morning. Not sure how many in my group, anywhere from about 5 to 30. Have no tickets and no place to stay yet but can figure that out too. I’m just excited to be going.

I’m kind of with Tipster here. I HATE when people try to reinvent themselves. Kraft, inevitably got stuffed in lockers throughout his high school years. He ended up with some money and then tried to become the coolest guy in the room. However, you see how awkward it looks and realize he’s the same guy that was stuffed in lockers some 55 years earlier. The only difference is Bon Jovi is now 7 feet away from this nerd. -
What if Matt Barkley gets hurt?

Eh, we started Nathan Peterman twice last year. These guys, aren’t good, but we have started way worse (with worse surrounding talent). If Allen goes down, I would guess that the Bills bring in someone like Landry Jones to be the backup. While he isn’t good he has a winning record, 63% completion and a positive TD:INT. You hope that he can lead you to 3 scoring drives and you win the turnover battle. You’ll be in every game if that’s the case. -

Barnwell's 5 Teams Most Likely to Improve in 2019
Kirby Jackson replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t get why anyone is mad that the Bills aren’t on here? 27 teams aren’t yet some feel like it’s a shot at them? This is a weird case of that Buffalo insecurity complex. Who cares if they are there? Barnwell has his opinion and it’s based on his formula. He didn’t even say that the Bills would be good or bad. He simply didn’t include them and some are taking offense. There isn’t some “anti-Bills” conspiracy out there. Michael Robinson thinks that the Bills will be good and we sent him a t-shirt!! The bottom line is that EVERYthing regarding the 2019 season at this point is a guess. Let’s not get mad at the guy that predicts 4-12 and send t-shirts to the guy that picks 12-4. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If their opinion isn’t “your team is great” it doesn’t mean that they hate your team/city/family/etc... -

He’s acceptable as well. The point is, there are guys out on the street that you can add every year that won’t kill you. The Bills added 2 last year. There are a handful of those types out there now. -

I’m not saying that he is good. I’m saying if week 9 rolls around and a guy needs to play a week you can add Jones. He’s 3-2 as a starter, completed 64% of his passes and has 8 TDs to 7 INTs. He’s not Peterman. -
Barnwell's 5 Teams Most Likely to Improve in 2019
Kirby Jackson replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that the Bucs take a step forward. They are a fringe playoff team IMO (keep in mind I said that last year and was way off). The Jets are about a .500 team I think. That’s a pretty big step forward as well. They are a lot like us. Carolina looks no different to me. The Giants stink but have for a couple of years. They might be the worst team in football. I don’t see enough of SF to have too strong of an opinion. I guess that their DL could be good. I think that it’s reasonable to think that these 5 teams could combine to be 10 games ahead but of last year (mostly led by Jets and Bucs). -

I agree on Jones. You could do worse than a couple of weeks of him. My guess is that’s why they only carry 2 as well. There are enough functioning guys out there that you can survive. -

My guesses (in no particular order): - Try to convince McCown to comeback out of retirement. - Brock - Weeden - Landry Jones - Matt Cassel -
A couple things jump out at me: - LB depth chart, the backup jobs there have always been up for grabs IMO. - Sills ahead of Duke, not sure either makes it but interesting nonetheless - Ford at RT and Nsekhe as the backup, thought that they may kick Ford inside - Love over Yarborough, we’ve heard it all offseason but that’s a change - Long as the #2 C - Oliver still listed with the 2nd team, gtfo Behind John Brown

I used Eli instead. Tried to use one guy from each team.

I like the trajectory of the young AFC QBs. Baker is going to be Matt Ryan(ish) imo. Darnold will be really good and Allen has a higher ceiling (and lower floor) than all of them. The young NFC QBs are tricky because they haven’t played. Murray and Haskins could be really good pros. Who knows on Jones. It’s tough to project the NFC guy’s at this point.

I think that this may be the best OL as well. -
I’m not a Luck guy but he’s been elite when he’s out there. Rivers is a guy that I’ve always liked a lot but at this point he’s just very good. He’s a HOFer though. Jimmy G and Baker could easily fall into unproven. For me Baker looked so comfortable and is like 25 so I don’t see a lot of growth or regression. He was the same player in college. Jimmy G is more of a ? to me. He may be the guy on this list (besides maybe Josh) that could end up in the most different tiers. I could see Jimmy G as anywhere from elite to bad.

Mahomes had arguably the best year a QB has ever had. He’s elite. Wentz is more skilled than Dak but has health issue. Dak is a good game manager and wins. He’s the modern Alex Smith IMO. Trubisky may still be considered an unknown but Goff and Mahomes have pretty defined resumes (regardless of how long they’ve played). Mahomes was deemed the MVP of the league. I don’t think that you can consider that unknown.

I just don’t agree with the list. The Legends: AFC - Brady NFC - Brees, Rodgers Elite: AFC - Mahomes, Luck NFC - Wilson Very Good: AFC - Ben, Rivers, Baker, Watson NFC - Ryan, Cousins, Cam, Stafford Good: AFC - Dalton, Carr, Foles NFC - Wentz, Goff, Trubisky, Dak, Jimmy G Bad: AFC - Mariota, Flacco NFC - Eli, Jameis Unproven: AFC - Allen, Darnold, Rosen, Jackson NFC - Haskins, Murray
