Feels like Ramsey to bills an option...
Kirby Jackson replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Jalen Ramsey is a GREAT player. I think Jalen Ramsey is an IDIOT. -
If it was a month they’d be adding someone. He wouldn’t be stretching. He MAY be out this week but that’s it.

The whole “12th man” thing isn’t Bills. I just hate things that we stole (hence my issues with “process”). The “Bills Mafia” thing at least belongs to us. It is unique to us. If we want to recognize the fan base I’d rather recognize Bills fans than “generic football fan base.” That’s what 12th man is. It is every team’s fans. I like the idea of us vs. everyone else. Whether you like Bills Mafia or not it isn’t something that we are sharing.

It’s actually an interesting thought and I voted yes. 12th man isn’t us!! Texas A&M owns it (I think) and the Seahawks are the NFL team that everyone identifies with it. It’s like the Bills trying to pretend that, “Trust the Process” is a Bills thing. It isn’t. The whole Bills Mafia thing is us and only us. It’s an all-encompassing term to encapsulate the way that we rally together, good and bad. I ALWAYS prefer things that are ours not things that we took from someone else.

Is there a Bills lot and tailgate for Nashville?

Yeah, I’m coming in Friday morning and leave at like 9 Sunday Night. I just texted Boyst. There are going to be A TON of Bills fans at this one. I’m thinking that it will be second to the Jacksonville playoff game. -

I would have liked Fitzpatrick (although didn’t want to do a 1st). He was a guy that could have taken us to the next level. Ramsey has the talent to do the same but is potentially a problem in the locker room. The Bills don’t need that at the moment. I’m passing on him for the reason. -
Ha ha, I’d say that you probably spent a fair amount of time analyzing them all and blocking out the noise from the talking heads. FWIW, they all may be franchise guys still. Rosen has been in disastrous situations but not ready to bury him yet. If he ends up in Pittsburgh or New Orleans or New England he has a chance to be developed. All of those teams (excluding maybe Pittsburgh) need their “next” guy. Miami could easily pull the plug on him. ...but EVERYTHING had to do with him playing QB. You can win in this league a variety of ways. Josh won late last year primarily with his legs too. His passing has caught up this year. It’s the exact same thing. You win by scoring points not by accumulating passing stats.

The point was, and is, they were polarizing prospects. Some people had their minds made up that one and/or the other would flop. Bill Polian said that Lamar was a WR!! Those people (not Polian) have dug in, despite evidence to the contrary in an effort to it be proven right. As of today, those people that criticized the Allen and/or Jackson picks are wrong. It can change for sure. They have both been VERY effective and are trending up. The people nitpicking them to prove themselves right is my issue. I just want people to admit, “at this point I may be wrong. They both look like they can play.”
-
Let me guess, you weren’t a fan of Lamar coming out were you? That’s kind of the point that I’m making. People do the same thing with Josh. You can cherry pick whatever you want with either but the reality is Lamar is 8-1 as a starter and been dominant this year. He was effective last year, as was Josh, and both appear to have taken massive steps. That’s what happens with young QBs.
-
It is out on everyone with a few starts. However, they are 15-7 as starters (Jackson is 8-1). If you thought that Jackson “was a RB” or Allen’s completion percentage would prevent him from ever having success you were wrong. It doesn’t mean that they will end up in the HOF but both have already proven that they can be effective, and at times dominant, NFL QBs.

Haven’t read the thread but I’m (gasp) with Jeremy White on this. I really don’t care (even a little) what Josh’s completion percentage is. 3rd downs, TD to Turnover (including rushing) and red zone efficiency is all that I care about. I’m happy with the progress of Josh. He looks like a guy and it’s been a generation since we could say that. He looks like the guy that we’ve been looking for and I couldn’t be happier.

Oh no just to be clear the last 15 years or so have been TERRIBLE for the genre (excluding Kendrick Lamar). My point was just that I like guys that have SOME skill in both areas. Do you remember how bad Kobe was as a rapper or the countless rappers in the NBA celebrity game that made you cringe? My point was just I respect those other guys that don’t embarrass themselves in either. Dame is a bit of an exception because he’s a legit MVP candidate and pretty damn good as a lyricist (starts at the 2:45 mark and is over one of my favorite beats ever):

I doubt it. AB was on the sidelines for his OU games last year. I don’t think that they are some strange distant cousins.

Good guess!! They are pretty close.
