  1. Yeah, that’s his son
  2. Had a really good meal at Oceano last time I was there. There was a place in the Condado Hilton that was really good too (had the lamb chops) but don’t remember what it was called.
  3. How I see it: 1. OSU 2. LSU 3. Clemson 4. Alabama 5. PSU 6. UGA 7. Oregon 8. OU 9. Utah 10. Florida
  4. Not trying to be “that guy” but think that the article a few weeks ago was a WAY better encapsulation of us as a fan base. I’m not sure if it was on Yahoo or CBS but that guy really captured it. This one was surface level and a touch insulting. Edit (the Ringer): https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2019/9/26/20884655/buffalo-bills-mafia-tailgate
  5. I’m not one that generally supports moving teams around. It guts a fan base and a community. With that being said, the Chargers aren’t really a LA team. They have no support, no roots, and no stadium. They will always be the Rams tenant and little brother. Moving them to London would check a lot of boxes and no one would care in LA.
  6. Can’t even imagine what you are going through. Keep your spirits up and wish you nothing but the best!! Keep fighting!!
  7. With all that he and his family have been through this year he’s a guy I’ll root for. Glad that he’s made his way onto a roster.
  8. I think he would certainly be the most popular pick. He’d be 2 for me and Watson 3 but Wilson is just the guy that I know can do it consistently, stays healthy and has won on the biggest stage. He should have 2 rings.
  9. I agree on Wilson 100%. If I could start an NFL team today with 1 player I am taking Wilson. He will be 31 this month but I think he has 6-8 years of elite play left in him. There are guys like Watson and Mahomes that have to be considered but I’ll take the known, consistent level of excellence from RW.
  10. It’s an odd guy to hate on when Orton pretty much was the same guy (42-40 in his career). They played differently but were similarly effective. Decent bridge QBs that won more than they lost.
  11. Weird flex but okay. It doesn’t change the fact that he has a winning record as a starter with 2.5 years of starts.
  12. Tyrod is 23-21 as a starter. Efficiency wins, he just needed to make more plays. Lamar is efficient and makes plays. He’s 12-3. It really is a bad day to be doubting Lamar. They are talking about him as an MVP candidate and some people are still doubting his competency as a QB.
  13. I keep asking, “why isn’t it sustainable?” Please don’t say anything about RG3 and his brutal injury. They are different players and in different schemes (at least where RG3 was). This offense was bad a year ago when he took over. Now they are good. They are averaging more PPG 31.4 than anyone in the league. They are averaging the 2nd most yards a game and rarely turn it over (Lamar has 5 turnovers on the season). I value efficiency. They epitomize efficiency. Lamar is the undisputed leader of one of, if not the, best offenses in football. He’s certainly not a “wide receiver playing QB” as Bill Polian once claimed. https://www.ftw.usatoday.com/2019/11/nfl-lamar-jackson-pocket-stats-patriots/amp
  14. Why are we comparing him to RG3? Do we have to lump every mobile black QB into the same bunch? What does Lamar’s play have to do with RG3? Why are we to assume that they will be the same? Why not use Russell Wilson? Doesn’t fit the narrative? Or better yet why don’t we look at LAMAR and judge him on his own merits? It’s the definition of the triple option but not the Navy offense that you compared it to earlier. Lamar is averaging 30 passing attempts a game. The Navy offense averages 8 pass attempts a game. You were trying to compare the 2 but that’s not the case. Watch the games.
  15. He’s throwing for 226 yards a game. That’s not triple option. Honestly, why are people doubling down on their bad pre-draft opinions? As of today he’s ABSOLUTELY the furthest along of the 1st round QBs from last year. He’s an MVP candidate at this point (not that I think he will win). He’s 12-3 as a starter.
  16. Don’t forget who Singletary’s biggest fan on here was leading up to the draft
  17. Your point? It’s a winning brand of football. He’s thrown for over 1,800 yards (more than Jimmy G, Allen, Brissett, etc). He’s run for another 637 which has him as a top 10 rusher in the whole league!! He’s scored 17 TDs and has 5 turnovers. He’s 5th in the NFL in QBR and just shredded a great NE defense. What is it specifically that you don’t like (other than the fact that you were wrong about him coming out)?
  18. No one is questioning if he has “NFL talent.” I can’t speak for everyone but I’m questioning why he has a “NFL job.” Those 2 things are not interchangeable. Colin Kaepernick has NFL talent but no NFL job. Is a QB3/PS QB with numerous off the field incidents a better option than someone like Davis Webb? He’s a guy that people thought relatively highly of coming out as well. If Davis Webb had the EXACT same Off the field issues as Chad Kelly would he still be in the league? I doubt it. That’s where the Kelly connection comes in.
  19. Remember when some people thought Lamar Jackson couldn’t play QB? That was pretty stupid at the time and WAY stupider now.
  20. Just as long as Mercury Morris can’t pop the champagne
  21. I’ve spent a a fair amount of time at The Lodge in Dallas on business trips. I can assure you Dave and Busters is much better for your financial future.
  22. That’s certainly true and the one time it makes sense. It often is vet players later in their careers chasing a ring. You see it a lot in the NBA. The Patriots have had it to a certain extent as well. More often than not, those guys have made their money.
  23. There should be no such thing as a “team friendly deal” and people that want that should go away. Imagine if you worked at Tops and Wegmans offered you double. Would anyone argue that you should stay at Tops?!? Everyone would think you are a moron. You aren’t doing what’s best for you or your family. The same thing in sports but it is even more extreme in some ways. The average career is 3 years long. Obviously, if we are talking about your 2nd contract you likely exceeded that but still. Get the market value!!! That holds true for all of us in every job.
  24. That’s probably true. I think that the Bills are going to play to avoid turnovers. They think of the game is played without short fields they win.
  25. We are all entitled to our opinions. I could say Peterman is a good QB but what’s measurable would say opposite. There isn’t a lot to support Bledsoe being better than those guys as Bills. Maybe you could argue that he won more than Fitz but did so with superior talent. Other than that he was less efficient, made less plays, made more mistakes and was sacked at an alarming rate. Bledsoe had elite arm talent but his completion percentage is less than Fitz who we consider inaccurate. Fitz and Tyrod both averaged more yards per attempt as well so we can’t hide behind him throwing it more down the field. There just really isn’t much, outside of 8 games, that supports him being even okay. That’s like Trent Edwards. I’m always baffled when people think so highly of Bledsoe as a Bills QB. We look back at former Bills all of the time through a negative lens. “___ sucked, I can’t believe he started here.” People remember Bledsoe as a good QB. It’s odd because he wasn’t. If you stack up his Bills career against even decent starters (like Fitz and Tyrod) it isn’t even close. He honestly compares closest to EJ. EJ vs Bledsoe (After 8 games): 58.3% vs. 57.9% 6.4 YPA vs. 6.6 YPA 77.1 rating vs 77.1 rating 1.3333 TDs per start vs. 1.075 TDs per start 1.3125 turnovers a game vs. 1.425 turnovers a game That really is not good.
