Make a bold stat line prediction for the game today
Kirby Jackson replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, I have Singletary over 80.5 total yards. With that being said, you want bold. I’ll say that he doubles that number and has over 161 total yards. -
Predict the 4 teams in the playoff for college 2019-2020

They scare me and that’s certainly in the back of my head. It won’t look like that this time but Clemson can beat them. They are balanced enough. -

Not even a little scared of LSU (and they are good). The only team with a prayer to beat Ohio State is Clemson. The Bucks are also Clemson’s toughest matchup. -
They stay put and take Chase Young. He’s the best prospect since Andrew Luck IMO. He’s 100% can’t miss at a premium position. He’s way ahead of where the Bosa bros. were at the same point. He gets off the bus with 10+ sacks. It’s an easy decision.

I doubt that he does. They certainly won’t give him the award regardless at this point. That’s why he’d get no money from me.

It’s Burrow in a runaway right now. Fields and Dobbins would get my money at this point. They still have the biggest games ahead of them and if LSU stumbles they could jump Burrow. It’s unlikely but better value. I like Hurts and Herbert at those prices as well but i don’t see the Buckeyes slipping prior to the Heisman ceremony. It will be tough for those guys to jump Fields especially.

Predict the 4 teams in the playoff for college 2019-2020

I don’t need 24 teams because that makes the regular season pretty useless. The reality is in any given year less than a dozen teams could actually win it. That’s not because the others are not given a chance though. As an example Navy would be in the 24 now. Could Navy ever run a gauntlet of something like: Wisconsin, Penn State, Alabama, Ohio State, and LSU? Of course they couldn’t win those 5 consecutively. It’s not even worth bothering. 8 teams is the right number. -

Would you want the Bills to sign Tom Brady?
Kirby Jackson replied to BillsFan8083's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Brady as well. I despise Brady but I respect Brady. I despise the Pats and I don’t respect them. They have cut corners, pushed the line and just looked the other way on some shady things. -

I’m good with 8 teams. 5 conference champs, highest ranked non-power 5 team and 2 wildcards. It really isn’t that complicated. This is exactly what it should look like. -
I’ve purposely avoided this topic because I like Josh and liked Tyrod. I only came here because it was chat Bills here or talk about whether Chris Brown should move over from lead journalist to college scout. This just felt like a more intelligent conversation. With that being said there are some similarities between the 2 both good and bad. They are both quality game managers and have winning records because of it. That’s not a bad thing. It was time for the Bills to move on from Tyrod. He was a guy that could win by game managing. In order to take the next step the Bills needed a QB that would occasionally take over a game and win it on his own. Josh has the ability to do it but hasn’t quite done it. He was raw coming out and has needed time to develop. He is getting better but still leaving too many plays on the field. At this point their production is similar and the hope is that Josh will continue to progress. Hopefully, he hasn’t reached his ceiling. As I said with Tyrod, the grass isn’t always greener. Josh is better than a bunch of guys playing. It’s just a matter of him elevating his game from serviceable to good to great, etc...

Kirby Jackson replied to BillsFan8083's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope He’s an average QB at this point. 5 years ago I would have said absolutely. I have no interest in an average QB, that I hate, in his mid-40’s. -
Anyone else think Bills will dominate on Sunday?
Kirby Jackson replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have a feeling that the Bills blow them out. Miami has been playing well and the Bills haven’t. The Bills have taken some heat this week. It’s the type of week that they show up and play really well. Miami just isn’t good and will go back to being themselves at some point. It just feels to me like it comes together in a must win for the Bills.
