  1. 100% agree, this is a desperation play at best. He just happened to push the button that the NFL didn’t want pushed.
  2. I’m actually thinking this too. With Josh’s development and the emergence of John Brown I think that they are going to chase weapons. I could see 1 early and 1 in the mid rounds. This we class is so deep that there will be great value in the middle rounds.
  3. I honestly am laying the points unless the weather is terrible. With the exception of Clemson, I think that the Bucks are 2 scores better than every team in the country. I could easily see this game being 42-17. This team is different.
  4. It’s certainly risky but it’s the only hand that he had. It’s going to end up as he said, he said. They are going to try to pin Rudolph as a MAGA loving racist because of his political views. If Garrett is lying, I agree, they should add on. If he’s telling the truth it probably gets reduced (still think he’s done for this year) and Rudolph gets punished too. Rudolph should immediately file a lawsuit if it’s false. This was the only play that Garrett had to gain sympathy and back the NFL into a corner. It’s kind of like the Justin Fields situation at UGA (although that had further documentation). His waiver was going to be granted no matter what because the NCAA didn’t want to look complicit in any way. This accusation applies pressure to the NFL that they don’t want. This is a conversation and issue that they don’t want playing out in public.
  5. This is about to get interesting!! It’s a smart play by Garrett’s people. That’s a strong defense from them. If Mason turns around and sues him for defamation of character that’s a strong play as well. Everyone puts their strongest hand on the table and see how it plays out.
  6. Yep, the reality is there is going to be good and bad. Josh is playing really well. I believe he’s going to be good. It’s far too early to write off any of those guys at this point (even Rosen). Things can change quickly in this league. Let’s be happy that we have a guy playing well.
  7. I haven’t any of this thread but from being here for north of 25k posts (embarrassing) I want to try something new. Did the conversation go like this? Those who didn’t want Josh tried to dig in and take a “wait and see approach.” Those who wanted Josh tried to say “I told you so” and disparaged every other QB in the class. It broke off into a debate of should we have taken Lamar (as he is the best of that class but those on this side would have easily taken Baker, Rosen, Darnold, Rudolph, etc.. to fit the argument). Those defending Josh immediately have to discredit Lamar (or Baker, Rosen, Darnold, Rudolph, etc..) to strengthen their argument for Josh. The one thing that we’ve learned on this message board is there CAN’T be 2 successful guys, at the same position, in the same draft class. How did I do?
  8. I’m a bit skeptical about Allen improving. I mean, someone show me some proof!! I just don’t see it
  9. Blue on White!! @YoloinOhio is slipping!! Fire that guy
  10. I wish that I could. There may be no perfect formula but just from eyeballing this it is clearly broken. It’s impossible to have a team, with 2 more losses, including a loss at home to the team with 2 less losses, 9 spots ahead. I know that people hated it but the BCS was usually pretty close. 7 spots ahead of a team that has 4 more wins.
  11. As a big believer in analytics I have no problem with that. I have an issue with the data that they are using to analyze it. CLEARLY, it is a flawed formula.
  12. I’m not one to complain about power rankings but it’s the worst that I’ve ever seen.
  13. Enjoy, here ya go!! https://www.numberfire.com/nfl/teams/power-rankings
  14. Not too mention Old Uncle Kirb’s has the Texans +220 to win the AFC South and the Colts under 7.5 wins (not looking so hot here).
  15. I said 1 non-conference (same thing).
  16. I hate to be “that guy” but conference record supersedes common opponent record. https://www.nfl.com/standings/tiebreakingprocedures. We don’t know how Indy will finish in conference as they still have 3 NFC games left. The Bills have 1. It’s possible that the teams tie but Indy wins more AFC games and finishes ahead of the Bills.
  17. I’m with Kyle Brandt. Josh is an elite runner. Why would you want him not to run? Injuries can happen on any play so I don’t want to hear that nonsense. The Bills lack playmakers and Josh is one of the few that they have. He needs to make plays with his arms and legs for this team to succeed. He’s a spitting image of a young Cam Newton.
  18. I like Bates too. I want both. You can cut Perry or Boettger or whomever.
  19. This is kind of my take Aug. Seantrel isn’t great but he’s serviceable. He plays a position of need and has some experience. He’s a better use of a roster spot at this point than certain other guys.
  20. Maybe it doesn’t, but I promise I’m telling the truth. They think really highly of him. Maybe he views it as a demotion? I don’t know the guy or his situation. It could even be family related. He has a reputation in that area. Maybe it’s a Sean Payton type of situation? Who knows but that’s what they said
  21. I got them at 7. Still feel pretty good about it
  22. That is the case. It seems even stupider in hindsight. I think they even did a special review of it and decided to not allow it. These other leagues ALWAYS look the other way with weed.
  23. Ha ha, that wasn’t for you. I can’t tell on here sometimes though!! Ha ha, we really need that sarcasm font. I’m just not sure he wants to go back there. I don’t know the guy but am sure he has an ego. I don’t know the details. I just know what I’ve been told.
  24. So, you think I’m crazy because I think he’d make the a good 4th tackle. I believe he’s better than other options available at Thanksgiving. You don’t want him but you have zero other options? Also, if you think he’s in a small minority smoking weed in the NFL you are lost. The number is EASILY 50% plus of players. In fact, Martellus Bennett thinks it’s closer to 90% https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/martellus-bennett-estimates-that-nearly-90-percent-of-nfl-players-smoke-marijuana/amp/. No NFL team is scared off be weed in 2019. It’s not even an interview. I’m not sure why you are arguing with me on this? What I’m telling you is true. He can go back there at anytime.
