He can’t play in this game. With all of the misdirection and screens they just pick on him.

Harrison getting love over TO drives me nuts. He went in the HOF before him. They played in the same era so it’s easy to compare them. TO was the far superior player. TO is also the way better person. So before someone goes onto the rant about “TO the teammate” never forget “Marvin Harrison the shooter.”

I actually think that the Bills win this week but New England beats Miami.

Yeah but the money was never an issue. McCoy is going to be over 500 yards this year with a 4.6 YPC. Ivory is out of the league. I would have been fine with a variety of options but Ivory isn’t a 2 at this point.

I’m going to go with neither. Gore would have been fine as a 3rd back because of his character. He should have never been counted on to run the ball. We should have probably kept Shady as the other back or signed Latavius Murray. They had to have a guy with some tread left on the tires.

Yep!! That’s the kind of thing 1st class organizations do. I sense that the Bills will operate like that. There is a reason players love Buffalo.

The only reason that I am bothered by it is that these players often have bonuses and such tied to it. Take a guy like Jordan Phillips for example. He is 2nd in sacks for all DTs. Geno Atkins took a spot that should have gone to Phillips. I don’t know the depth of bonuses in his contract but say he had $250k riding on it. He should be angry. It’s not so much that I am mad that people are selling the Bills short. I feel bad for the players that have earned this recognition and potentially money. We have some guys that should be there.

Well, I usually don’t let the lack of respect bother me. This feels a little different because a lot of guys have a lot to lose from this. Jordan Phillips should be there. Tremaine Edmunds should be in. John Brown should be a first alternate as well. Dion Dawkins and the safeties should have been considered. The Bills are 10-4 and have arguably the best defense in the league. On principle alone they should have sent about 4 guys. You shouldn’t have a team that finished 2 games ahead of them sending 12 guys. You shouldn’t have had bad teams sending 3. The Bills roster has always been underrated but they should have earned the respect this year. There should have been a minimum of 3 defensive players and then a handful of other guys that could have gone.

Again, no argument with this. The Bills have been .500ish for most of the decade. There were a couple of bad years and now a good one in there. In general though that’s about right.

That’s where I’m at. I actually think the Bills power rankings at the moment are totally fair. I have no issues with them in that spot.
