Both are FA this year. I doubt that they move on from Brees and can’t imagine paying Teddy the $20M or so he will get out there. If they have pick 22, 54 and their 2021 1st they can maybe chase Tua. Play Brees next year and red shirt Tua.

I have a thought that I want to throw out and figured this is a good place to start. Trade picks 22 & 54 for picks 24 and Kamara. The Bills get some explosiveness and can still take the WR at 24. The Saints get the ammo to make a move up in the draft for the eventual successor to Brees. The value for New Orleans is the equivalent of pick 50 and I don’t think they are going to pay Kamara.

Can we all remember threads like this as we start talking about the draft here shortly? Next time we are POSITIVE that ________ is never going to be an NFL player, think back to this thread. Think back to a guy that you were 100% wrong on.

It’s just a different time. Tickets are so readily available now. They didn’t used to be. A lot of teams travel well but we are really good at it. We are infinitely more organized on the road. I made 4 road games this year which is a new record for me (Dallas, Cleveland, Nashville and Houston). Each had it’s own charm and they are all different experiences. Going to scale back next year because my liver has taken a beating. I’m thinking Nashville and Vegas.

That was at like 8:00. They also ran out of Miller Lite and Bud Light. At one point a Bud truck pulled up and beeped to an adoring crowd. To be honest though it didn’t feel like there was nearly as many as I expected. In fairness, a lot were still en route.

Agree to disagree To me he is the person most responsible for the position that they are in. Drafted great and signed the right guys. Still has a ton of cap space

Beane is an easy A. He turned the entire roster in 2 years, may have found his QB and has $90m+ in cap space. He’s the most responsible IMO. McDermott is an A-/B+ from me. Culture is fantastic. Team is disciplined and prepared. Clock management and challenges still need work. Daboll is a B- from me. He’s not creative enough in the red zone for me. I also think Josh needs to run early in games to get into the flow. Frazier is an A-. He’s done a nice job with a really talented defense. My only gripe is that I’d like them to attack a touch more. Josh is a B-. He has shown flashes of what he can become. He needs to be more accurate and consistent. He’s taking the steps though. If he keeps on this trajectory he’s going to be a really good NFL QB.

My thinking is closer to Cleveland than Nashville. If I had to guess I’d say 25%ish. Nashville was legitimately 50/50.

I like Josh a lot and think he’s going to be a really good QB. He’s competitive as hell and I love that. The answer to the question though is Watson. He’s already great and has been an elite big game QB. The answer may change in a few years but today it isn’t a question.

I mean a team that hasn’t lost in 2 years won by a score despite controversial calls. They played a dead even game. OU was boat raced. No one shut me up. I thought that there were 3 good teams. 2 of them went toe to toe and the other had a bye. The other 2 good teams play next week. OU is trash (as is the entire Big 12). This is their last playoff berth for a while.

I knew I’d take some heat for this. I plan on going pretty hard Friday. Apparently I have about 30 on Saturday because I’ll be one of the only people with a car. I am probably just going to get a ton of alcohol and some snacks because I don’t feel like working the whole time. We talked about grilling or frying turkey but I would much rather focus on fun. At any rate, think that I’m going to bring cornhole and a positive attitude. Y’all are welcome to come by say hi and have a drink. We will be in a silver Infiniti QX50 and the cornhole set will have one Ohio State and one Nintendo Controller. I’ll probably be in either a blue Edmunds or white Tre White Jersey. For me it’s about playmakers. I don’t care about RB or TE or WR or KR. The Bills need a few guys that can make big plays. Their offense doesn’t score a lot and it’s partly because they don’t hit home runs. I’m fine with it being any of those positions if once and a while those guys score from 50 yards out. That’s when the Bills take the next step. If they get 5 more TDs a year like that, they move from the bottom of the league in scoring to the middle. That’s a huge difference.

Yeah, I may be wrong but I’m adamant on this one. He just EXPLODES through the hole and in the open field. He only weighs 170 lbs. I just haven’t ever seen anyone like him. I may end up being wrong but I’m not changing my mind. The 1st time I saw him play my mind was made up.

Nope, I mean Pooka will be what Bush should have been. He’s Tyreke Hill as an RB. He’s going to be a star. I’m not taking about a solid NFL player. I’m talking about a guy that’s different.

I put it in the Chubba thread but wanted to break it out. I saw him as a freshman or sophomore and thought he was the best HS athlete that I had ever seen. In fact, I wrote that on here about 5 or 6 years ago. He’s not eligible this year but will be a fun player to track for those of you looking for a guy to watch in 2020. He will be a star IMO and I don’t care that he weighs 170 lbs. I’m on record that I will be banging the table for this guy to be on the Bills in 16 months. At any rate, enjoy some highlights from HS and his freshman year. Start salivating now!!

I don’t hate Chubba in the right spot. He’s a home run hitter IMO. The Bills don’t have enough home run hitters. We don’t make a lot of 40 yard+ plays. I think Yeldon has a chance to be that guy otherwise. The Bills need a big back too. I suspect that the Bills draft either the 3rd down speed back (JJ Taylor) or a bruiser (AJ Dillon). I’d probably use Yeldon as the speed back and then draft Pooka Williams in 2021. That’s my dream. Pooka would be one of my favorite picks ever for the Bills. He’s the best HS athlete I’ve ever seen by a lot. He’s what Reggie Bush could have been (but smaller). He will be an absolute star. The difference between a good back and a great back is a great back knows when he’s gone. This dude is different!!

I kind of looked at it as “most important plays”: It really is crazy to think but the Bills play of the decade is definitely Dalton to Boyd (and it really isn’t close). If we are talking a play that involves the Bills it may be the Stevie Johnson drop. That play started the entire “Bills Mafia” movement. That has changed the perception of the organization to the entire world. As weird as it sounds that day changed the future. Our fan base became the envy of the league over the next few years and a rallying cry for players everywhere. The Bills players are connected to the fans unlike in any other place. This really was the day that the rest of the world was exposed to our passion. It set the table for the culture that we have. In terms of positive plays Fred Jackson trucking Conte in Chicago jumps out, Sammy vs. Minnesota, EJ vs. Carolina, Charles Clay in Atlanta, Josh sneak in Dallas, Josh hurdle in Minnesota and the Kyle Williams TD. These all popped right into my head and I’m sure there are tons more but don’t want to keep listing.
