  1. The over under is 12.5 pts & 5.5 Rebs I am taking both overs. In the preseason he averaged 23 pts in 27 minutes on 70% shooting!! They’ve been waiting so long for him they are going to give him some chances to shine tonight. He may only play 20 minutes tonight or whatever but I’d expect 15-18 points and 7 or so rebounds.
  2. It’s weird because a couple of years ago I thought he’d be an absolute star (and he still might be). I don’t see a ton of them and I’ve always liked him. My buddy just doesn’t think that he separates well enough compared to other guys. He thinks that he can be good but not great and said, “I wouldn’t take him in the 1st.” That’s enough for me.
  3. No GM is going to approach it with this level of fear. They can’t worry about the misses. If a WR is BPA when they draft they absolutely will be taking one. If they have a drop off in a tier you may even see them trade up into the teens for a WR. The same can be said for an edge rusher. I don’t see them trading up early for any other positions.
  4. FWIW, he’s a 2nd rounder to me. My buddy is the President of the Clemson Alumni Association here and is a diehard. He follows them like I do the Bills. I defer all Clemson analysis to him. He says that Tee isn’t a 1st rounder.
  5. Then he would be a hard pass for me. He hasn’t been healthy in forever. I’d rather trade for a guy (OBJ?) if that’s the case. Otherwise, I’d sign a high ceiling guy with some issue like Robbie Anderson.
  6. Replacing Mecole Hardman
  7. I’m with you Bill. It has to be 2 IMO. The lack of playmakers was glaring this year. The Bills have a couple of nice players in Brown and Beasley. Adding a talent that is better than both of them and another guy with a different skill set of their caliber would make this offense a whole lot more dynamic. How about Ruggs in the 1st and AJ Green in FA on an incentive laden deal?
  8. I think it’s more about teams drafting the wrong guys in the 1st. It isn’t about the right player being available necessarily. NFL teams haven’t done the appropriate job scouting. Michael Thomas was drafted after Corey Coleman and Josh Doctson. That doesn’t mean that you should wait until round 2 to get a guy (I’m not against it either). It just means that you should take Michael Thomas instead of Josh Doctson. It has nothing to do with “1st round WRs bad, 2nd round receivers good.” It is all about, “draft the right guy.” This year’s class has a TON of talent. It may be the most talented WR class ever. With that being said some of the guys are going to be great. Some of these guys are going to be good. Some of the guys are going to be okay. Some of these guys are going to be busts. Just get it right...
  9. Feels like a poll would have worked well in this thread
  10. KC and SF for me (although I don’t really care in the NFC). KC is the easiest team left to cheer for. Andy Reid has had an amazing career but hasn’t gotten a ring as a HC. Mahomes is the best QB in the league. They are fun and have weapons everywhere. They also have a great fan base.
  11. I’d cut Murphy (although he played better later in the year), Kroft (easy decision at that number), & DiMarco. Other than that I’d play it by ear depending on who was added.
  12. Can I introduce you to Duck Hodges.... 1st pick and best prospect are 2 different things. Chase Young is universally regarded as the top prospect. Joe Burrow is universally regarded as the top pick. Those are both true.
  13. Of course he’s going to Cincinnati. I’m sure that’s not his first choice but since he has no control he will accept it. Burrow has “it.” He has all of the QB intangibles and incredible pocket awareness. I will be surprised if he isn’t a good NFL QB.
  14. I’m at the point where I’m ready to gamble. The Bills have a really nice team. They should be a favorite next year in the AFC. How do you take that up a notch? Whether it be OBJ or someone else, I’m okay with some risk. He’s a knucklehead but for the most part he has been considered a good teammate. He really isn’t a criminal either (this instance aside). He’s not Marvin Harrison or anything. He’s like a toned down TO. He forgot Antonio Brown...
  15. Total speculation on my part to be clear....it just makes a ton of sense.
  16. Be careful, you all might need to learn to love OBJ in a couple of months. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the Bills made a move to get him.
  17. So as some of you know I split season tickets with a group. This part of the schedule I’m especially heavy. I have tickets to 6 of 7 games in this window. The one game I’m missing? Zion’s debut....fml Edit: and I’m back!! Just got invited by my buddy that I split with (also a Bills fan).
  18. Well this changes things...I kind of feel like I have to go. I should probably stay off of TBD and go try to sell some stuff. Next season’s schedule looks expensive.
  19. Brady is a GREAT hire imo. He’s one of the great offensive minds in the game. This will be a 2 year stop and he will take a HC job.
  20. It really is an interesting thought. These LSU skill players are ridiculous. I think that Singletary would certainly be in the rotation. I actually like Edwards-Helaire as a guy to join the Bills backfield. He has a different skill set. I’d give our skill players for theirs for sure though. They are special.
  21. Yeah, I don’t think Phillips is back. I guess that’s part of the reason that I want Shaq to return. I think Oliver will pick up some of that swagger in year 2 as well. Additionally whoever plays the other LB spot can potentially add that.
