  1. There’s just no value in Mahomes. He is +115, virtually even money. That’s a terrible bet. I’d much rather spread some money across Kittle 10:1, Damien Williams 25:1, Deebo 25:1, Kelce 16:1, Tyreke 16:1, Sammy 60:1, Hardman 55:1, Coleman 70:1 and Honey Badger 50:1. You put some $ on each on a sliding scale (higher the odds the less you spend) and hope to catch.
  2. I did not see it anywhere yet, so I apologize if it’s there. We are 1 day out from the big game and TBD has always been a great place to talk food. I got roped into hosting the Super Bowl Party this year. It is probably somewhere between 15 to 20 people. I’m going to make this as the main dish: Roast Pork Dip Sanwich. It is fantastic but a fair amount of work. Will do some rosemary roasted potatoes, salad and grilled vegetables to go along with it. We will also have taco dip, hummus, cheese, crackers, pepperoni, olives, sundries tomatoes, bacon-wrapped jalapeños, grilled wings, and of course, king cake for dessert. In terms of the drinks, every couple is bringing a bottle of wine and a good 6 pack. I’ll have booze and a couple of cases of “drinking beers.” What do you guys have planned for tomorrow night???
  3. That’s kind of what I’m thinking
  4. It’s his brother. He hasn’t slept with any subordinates yet, so he’s good.
  5. Yeah, I like those secondary type guys at those numbers. I’ll make smaller bets on it but for $10 or whatever I’ll bet a few skill guys at 50:1 and greater. You hope that you catch the guy that has 100+ yards and scores twice. Watkins, Coleman, Samuel, and Hardman are the types I’m going to look at. I don’t know all of the odds on them but it’s worth a few bucks.
  6. 60:1 to be the MVP...he has games where he goes off. He’s PHENOMENAL value at that That’s the line I heard. It’s probably either Westgate or someone like that. You can probably just google it and see who set the line. The lines are pretty universal from the major players. I like that bet
  7. Roughly 26 million people are expected to bet the Super Bowl. They are expected to bet $6.8B. With being said what are you guys betting? I’m thinking: - SF first half - KC 2nd half - SF over rushing total - KC over passing total - National Anthem under 2:04 - A handful of secondary skill players (ie Watkins, Coleman, Samuel, Damian Williams, etc) for MVP
  8. I feel like Tyrod and Fitz took more heat than the other guys mentioned. It’s weird because they were way better than those guys. Now maybe it’s because they were low end starters but that’s still better than mid level to low level backups.
  9. I can go either way on this debate. I tend to lean TT but see both sides. It was always odd to me that the were so hated when they were here. They were the only functioning QBs we ran out in a 15 year period. If you want to hate on guys, hate on Losman, Edwards, EJ, Peterman, Brohm, Tuel, et al.
  10. “Oh my God, that’s John Wawrow’s music!!!”
  11. He has a better WR room than Brady. Additionally, he has a vastly superior running game that teams need to respect. This feels like cherry picking stats to put through a narrative that they were vastly different players. They weren’t. They were elite game managers and borderline top 10 QBs. Neither was elite this past year and not really that close.
  12. Brady and Rodgers? Brady: 60.8%, 4,057 yards, 24 TDs, 8 INTs, 88 rating, 52.5 QBR Rodgers: 62%, 4,002 yards, 26 TDs, 4 INTs, 95.4 rating, 53.5 QBR You've made it clear that you love Rodgers but those numbers aren’t all that different. Brees is the outlier of that group (16 game pace): Brees: 74.3%, 4,333 yards, 39 TDs, 6 INTs, 116.3 rating, 74.2 QBR
  13. I’m honor of Greg Olsen (aka G-Reg) here’s the NSFW song performed by the 7th Floor Crew:
  14. Bring in Olsen and cut Kroft...that feels like an easy one I’d probably chase Hooper or Henry first though (depending on the cost).
  15. That was the perfect storm for them. The Warriors coming off of this historic run and opening the new arena in SF.
  16. I know. I was just kidding
  17. Um, Augie, um, I was with you at a game at that stadium. Have you seen a doctor lately?
  18. Oh, 100% in agreement with you on that. Rodgers and Brady look like middle of the pack QBs. Maybe, borderline top 10ish guys. They are high end game managers at this point. That’s not meant to be an insult. They just don’t carry their respective teams to victory like they used to. Those guys were 2 of the best 3 QBs in the league for a decade and a half. Brees was the 3rd guy in that group. Brees is still in the elite tier. Rodgers and Brady were not this year.
  19. I often read this stuff and shake my head at the fear they try to create. The NFL can’t force the Pegulas to do anything. They can collectively bargain a less favorable revenue sharing for lower income teams. If that happens it will make it harder for the Bills to compete and may force their hand. The NFL though cannot force a team to move, build a stadium or anything of the sort. When they voted them in as owners they gave them the power to run the Buffalo Bills.
  20. Rodgers season was almost identical to Brady’s.
  21. I don’t know, Brees has a MASSIVE ego as well. All great QBs do. With that being said Brees is a much better player at this point than Brady. If he played all 16 games this year he was on pace for: 74.3% completion, 4,333 yards, 39 TD passes, 6 INTs. Brady over 16 games in 2019: 60.8% completion, 4,057 yards, 24 TD passes, 8 INTs
  22. Fowler and I didn’t get off on the right foot. That’s certainly a personal thing. The others are more because I think were mistakes for the Bills. I shouldn’t necessarily hold it against them but I do. What I want is pretty simple, play hard, don’t be completely inept and be a good dude. With that low bar, I really like the overwhelming majority of the Bills players.
  23. Yeah, he had some issues for sure. He was the most cooperative and genuine dude on the team IMO. It was highs and lows but from being around there he was probably my favorite. They had some good guys and then some idiots. That’s probably true of every team though.
  24. I always believed that he wouldn’t leave without every record locked up. He has most now but Brady can take a few. At this point Brees is the much better player too. I don’t know though because the people that follow the Saints like I do the Bills think it’s possible if not likely.
