  2. But it won’t be worse, with the additions of Addison and Jefferson, a healthy Murphy and a developing Oliver it should improve. Shaq and Phillips were effective but feel like they’ve been adequately replaced in the short-term. I expect an improved pass rush this year but long-term there’s work to be done. That was honestly a big reason that I advocated keeping Shaq. An injury to Addison though and you are starting the same guys that you did last year.
  3. I know that you think edge is the weakest spot. We disagree slightly there. I think that the Bills are fine at edge for 2020. There are A LOT of questions beyond this year. Over the next couple of years I think we will see an entirely new crew there. I expect to see a new body this year but the edge concern is more beyond 2020 than in 2020.
  4. I am a “big play advocate.” If the Bills made 4 more a year (as an example) that’s an extra 28 points on the season. Those 4 big plays would take the Bills from 23rd in scoring to 18th. That’s one explosive play every 4 games. I think Diggs instantly contributes to this. There will be a slant or 2 that he catches at own 40 and explodes through the secondary to go the distance. We have been lacking that for sure. 5 of the Bills 6 losses last year were by a TD or less. If 1/2 of those big plays were made in those 6 games we could have been 12-4 instead of 10-6. Those 4 big plays are probably worth an additional win to 2 wins a year. That could be the difference in playoffs or not, division or not, bye or not, etc...
  5. There are some nice players in there but that’s not how the draft works. Top players at premium positions get drafted first. A top tier S or TE does not get drafted before a top tier CB or T (and Ramczyk is good not great IMO). I’d have Tre in the tier with Kittle, Adams, and Watt as players. Watt and Tre play premium positions. Godwin is really good but does kind of feel out of place at 4. Those other guys are top 5 players in the league at their position. I don’t think that he is that. He’s in a great system and is really good. Ramczyk is a little overrated to me. He gets a lot of credit. He’s a nice tackle but IMO he’s not a top 5 guy either. If we are redrafting I think that the top 10 looks like this: - Mahomes - Watson - Garrett - Tre - Watt - McCaffrey - Humphrey - Kittle - Adams - Ramczyk - Godwin
  6. I always bet some props like that heading into the season. I had Chris Carson to win the rushing title last year +2500, Brees to win the passing title +750 and Evans to win the receiving title +1400. I didn’t win any of them but they all made sense to me at those numbers. Jameis to win the passing title would have been a great score. I used Evans because I trusted Arians’ air attack. I don’t remember what Jameis’ odds were but they had to be over 30:1. Again though, no one is saying “I expect Josh to be an MVP candidate.” What we are saying is “at 50:1 (or whatever) there is great value in Josh Allen as the NFL MVP.”
  7. I got Josh at 50:1 or 75:1 a month or so ago (maybe even 100:1). My thought is that he and the Bills could make a leap. If they do he will be in the conversation and it’s good value. I can’t log in right now so I’m not sure what I got it at but think that I bet $50 on it.
  8. Yeah, it might be. I would think that he’s on the hot seat. That’s a weird organization though. Because they have no fans I wonder if they have any pressure? It’s just strange.
  9. I mean I’m I know that I’m a Tyrod defender but what do you expect him to say? “We are going to be a really bad team with me as the QB.” Of course he says that. He’s 24-21-1 as a starter. I’d expect roughly the same win percentage if he played the whole year with the Chargers. They’ll be about 8-8.
  10. I thought season 3 was really good although I didn’t love the ending. It left me feeling a little unfulfilled but definitely sets up season 4. Darlene Snell is basically the fictional version of Carole Baskin.
  11. Mack has always been a good recruiter. I’m not sure that he’s a great coach but he seems like a great guy. He’s the kind of guy that I’d have no problem sending my kid to play for. Also, is this ever going to stop?!? The RBs are starting to resemble the WRs. The talent at the skill positions in 2020 & 2021 is absurd!!!

  13. I did too. Murphy played a nice game as well
  14. No, it doesn’t but at least you’re informed.
  15. They will trickle out as we get closer. They really do an nice job. It’s kind of interesting because when certain people here comment on a guy they’ve seen him multiple times from scouting type videos. Their opinions are so much more in depth than someone like me (or most of us).
  16. Can’t even have your phone in there
  17. I’ve done it (humble brag). It might not be a good thing though. I was there for the trade up for McCargo (yuck).
  18. Ben looked TERRIBLE while quarantining.
  19. Fair enough I think that we all agree he’s an ascending player with a sky high ceiling. Let’s just hope that he stays healthy and continues to work hard.
  20. I like Dobbins over Taylor (but I like Taylor). I like Swift/Dobbins, Swift/Dobbins, Taylor, Edwards-Helaire, Akers
  21. He was 7th in pass rush win rate as a DT last year. Why don’t you expect him top 10 this year? The 2nd half of last year he was arguably the 2nd most disruptive DT in the league behind Donald. There’s nothing, at anytime in his career, to suggest he will be anything but a star. He was a 1st team All-American as a true freshman. He was 1st team All-American all 3 years. I’m not sure what the rest of us are missing? Asked a different way, who are the 10 DTs that you expect to be better than him this year?
  22. You clearly didn’t read the beginning because the scale is for 2020. They are projecting Oliver as a star in 2020. There is nothing to suggest otherwise.
  23. Oliver was 7th in pass rush win rate for DTs. He did that as a rookie who got off to a slow start. He was a REALLY good player late in the year. He’s absolutely going to be a star starting this year.
  24. How many teams’ 4th WR do you love? That’s kind of the point. I think that they add a guy but even if they don’t it’s not going to make a huge difference this year.
