  1. The Patriots obviously knew Stidham wasn’t the answer. They were just monitoring the Cam situation until he was healthier and cheaper. We aren’t far removed from Cam playing good football. Before he got hurt in 2018 his numbers were actually ahead of his MVP year. If he’s healthy the Patriots are relevant again. Healthy Cam >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Stidham
  2. They have the worst pass catchers in the league. They have no speed. Their OL will be good and they should be able to run the ball. The Pats were going to be a 6 win team before this move. Now they can be better but they still shouldn’t be great. The Bills still have the best roster in the division by a pretty big margin but the Pats have BB. If they got to 9 wins I wouldn’t be shocked with Cam.
  3. I hate this. I’m on record as not believing any other AFC East team could get to .500. The Pats can now with a healthy Cam. This sucks
  4. 100% I believe that. My point was just if they are meddling (which I in no way encourage) they don’t all have the same understanding. Al Davis meddled. Al Davis knew football inside and out. Jerry Jones meddles; he knows football inside and out. Daniel Snyder meddles; he doesn’t know the game like that.
  5. The main difference is Jerry Jones was a captain of a National Championship team at Arkansas. Say what you want about the guy but he knows football inside and out. If he were on the headset he’d have a complete understanding of the conversations taking place. It may be meddling but it is informed meddling. Terry and Kim do not have anywhere close to Jones’ knowledge and understanding of the game.
  6. That’s a good point Mango. I think that’s what we are dealing with. In a vacuum this isn’t a big deal at all. There just isn’t potential or future upside to it and there is potential future downside.
  7. If we are drawing the line at 2000 I think that team is in the top 5 for sure. Last year’s team was the best, 2014, 2017 and 2004 are all sprinkled in there in some order. I actually believe both at this year will be the best Bills team since the 90’s even if the record is worse. I’ve said it a few times but I think it’s more likely that the Bills win the division than win 10 games. The schedule for the AFC East is brutal this year (ours is actually the easiest of the 4 teams). The Bills could be 9-7 and win the division but be dangerous in the playoffs. I think they’ll win 10 or 11 but even if they don’t this should be the best team since the forward lateral.
  8. I was trying to invest in it assuming that it will jump in value with the exposure from the NBA. It’s not publicly traded though (at least that I’m aware of).
  9. I don’t think anyone is denying her right to do it. She can coach the team if she wants. It’s her business. Generally the best owners are hands off business people, not super fans. Both of those things are true.
  10. Again, it’s not a huge deal but there are no positives that could come out of this. If she decides she wants to be more involved it’s a negative. There is no situation where it’s a positive. Someone brought up the VP of IT earlier. There are potential positives to him being on the headsets. If there are issues he can troubleshoot them. There is no scenario where it’s “good thing Kim is on here.” Not a big deal but not professional either
  11. Gregg was bad too. I’d have him right down there. He was an a-hole too. I’d probably rank them: - McDermott - Wade - Marrone - Chan - Jauron - Mularky - Gregg Williams - Rex
  12. No, I’m saying that because I follow the Bills EXTREMELY closely (hence 27,242 posts on a bills message board). Bills fans pretty much all agree that Rex was the worst Bills coach of the drought. He did a really poor job with a talented roster. Rex at the Jets did a nice job. Rex with the Bills was the worst coach of the drought. You need to trust us that were closest to it.
  13. Dick Jauron did a WAY better job as the Bills HC than Rex. He just didn’t have a lot of talent. Rex did. Rex got the least he possibly could of out of that team. That was about an 11-5 team that hung right around .500. He was unquestionably the worst Bills coach during the drought.
  14. He’s definitely been on the headsets. That’s kind of his job though at some level. He needs to make sure everything is flowing on game day. There are a bunch of people I’m sure.
  15. Rex is last for the Bills (by a lot) and Gailey is probably 3rd (or 4th at worst). As a Jets fan you probably remember him when he was good. He was an absolute nightmare as the Bills coach. Flores is maybe 1 for Miami. He’s certainly trending that way. I’d have Gase last in all cases. His players hate him. Also, Wannstedt was pretty much a moron. He’s definitely not 2. He’s not top 7.
  16. Lol, I really wouldn’t. I would be so cognizant of micromanaging that wouldn’t be on the agenda.
  17. I guess I just look at it as she’s one step closer to having a button to call plays. The owner’s role is to entertain politicians and business people on a game day. It’s not to hear a conversation between McDermott, Daboll and Allen. It’s not to wait outside for autographs. This really isn’t a big deal but it just confirms what I already believed. We have super fans as owners. That’s not a compliment. Super fans make players and coaches uncomfortable.
  18. Maybe I’m jaded on the subject but I don’t want my owner that close to it. When I see Wellington Mara or Art Rooney with a headset on I may change my mind. Their job is to run the business not get in the weeds.
  19. Personally I hate it!! The less involved the owner is the better.
  20. I haven’t read the thread but is this where we talk about how Lombardi is an idiot for rolling with Campbell and Hoyer?
  21. 7 feels fair; I’m higher on Josh than they are. They were WAY too low last year at 29. This is a talented (and deep) roster.
  22. That’s not it. He’s wants the same amount annually for only 4 years that the Cowboys want for 5 years. He wants the chance to hit free agency again sooner and they want 1 more year of commitment. That has been the holdup in the negotiation.
  23. Dak’s cap hit will go down if he signs long term. They can add Jamal Adams too if they want. The Cowboys have as much top end talent as anyone. If McCarthy can get it together that team can compete.
  24. Don’t let the few speak for the majority of us ??
