College Football is my favorite sport so it’s disappointing for me. I’ll watch college teams that I don’t care about way more often than NFL teams that I don’t care about. The games just mean more. With that being said, if the power 5 end up cancelling the NFL should definitely backfill those slots. There’s no reason to not have football all day Saturday.

I really feel like this year the talent gap vs. the rest of the MAC was significant. I could have seen a win at K State to start the year and then some momentum. They could have beaten everyone but Ohio State. If they had gotten to 7-1, 8-1 or whatever they would have been very much in the mix to be ranked. They could have been viewed like App State or someone like that.

Forget Diggs! These 4 Free Agents need to produce!

I’m optimistic about Jefferson and think that Butler will be a solid role player (especially with no Star). I think Addison is going to disappoint and Klein is just not very good. -
Certainly the case

They’re going to hang 77 on them and TTUN will take it as a moral victory ??

This is sad news for UB. They were set to be loaded. I honestly think that they would have cracked the rankings at some point during the season.

Current, just had to morph into Karen. Just kept asking for loyalty supervisors and finding things to nitpick about. Finally got someone and talked about how long I was on hold and how it hasn’t worked out like I hoped, yada, yada, yada. The last guy agreed to do it for this year and I was good.

Free for the year ? That ended up a little tougher than I expected but it’s done.

On the phone with Directv now. Let’s see how this plays out...

This will be my first year trying. I haven’t yet done it though. If anyone has any advice I’m all ears.

Sure, but his visibility makes him a lot richer than his dominance. Think Connor McGregor, he’s a great fighter but infinitely more famous than better fighters. The same with Beckham. There are certain people that have mastered “their brand” and that’s where the dollars come from. That’s why athletes are on social media and always will be. They have an audience and a platform to communicate with that audience.

As an example Cristiano Ronaldo has the most Instagram followers in the world and by a very significant margin (Ariana Grande is 2). These guys are also starting podcasts and pushing products. It’s easy money. Now, should they maybe mute the comments? I think at times it would be best but I get why they don’t.

I’ll play along (even though i voted no). If I were Beane I’d be starting with 2 1sts, a 3rd and a player from a bad NFC team that likely picks in the top 10 (Washington, Giants, Panthers). The Adams trade brought back a lot but it was the equivalent of the 8th pick and a player. A top CB should bring back more. Let’s say that the average draft pick for those 3 teams over the next 2 years is pick 8. Obviously that can change and there’s risk but that’s the risk that you take. You’d be looking at 2 top 10 picks plus your own 2 1sts over the next 2 years. You’d avoid making Tre the highest paid CB ever and can allocate that money elsewhere. Some players that I’d be looking at from those teams (in no particular order): Ronald Darby, Antonio Gibson, Ross Pierschbacher, Ryan Anderson, Fabian Moreau, Darnay Holmes, Xavier McKinney, Darius Slayton, Kyler Fackrell, Evan Engram, Jeremy Chinn, Donte Jackson, and Curtis Samuel. Clearly these guys have different values but it gives you an idea of what we have in mind. If I were to consider it (still wouldn’t but): - Tre and a 4th for 2 1sts, a 3rd, Ronald Darby & Antonio Gibson - Tre and a 7th for 2 1sts, 3rd & Evan Engram - Tre & Marlowe for 2 1sts, a 5th and Jeremy Chinn

How Excited Are You About The 2020 Season?
Kirby Jackson replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is kind of where I’m at and it’s weird. I honestly believe, if they have their whole roster, this team can win the Super Bowl. I haven’t been able to say that in 20 years. Without all of the camp reports and all of the uncertainty out there I’m just not nearly as excited. I’m ready for football but it isn’t consuming me at the moment. Some of this can be attributed to all of the other sports now going on. We have the NBA and NHL in the playoffs or playoff type of environment. Baseball is in a sprint with every game being more important than in previous years. The PGA Championship starts today. I have enough sports to consume me at the moment that I’m not hanging on every training camp report/interview.
