  1. Ah, got it. Thought maybe you meant that you didn’t like the fluff or range of programming on a channel like the Yes Network (Nets games, yankeeography, Centerstage, etc). I was hoping it wasn’t a “shut up and dribble” post but alas. I guess you should just quit on football then if you only want to watch people that agree with your politics. Personally I don’t watch or not watch any sport because our politics are or aren’t aligned. I watch the because I enjoy watching the greatest athletes in the world compete. Strange times we are in...
  2. I would absolutely pay for that. I pay for so many other things that I watch so much less.
  3. It just looked off so I went back to add them up. Imagine spending all of that time to roll out your predictions and they aren’t even possible? What a moron
  4. He has NFL teams going 255-257 ??
  5. Penn National will have 1/2 of Barstool in 3 years as per the agreement and the right to buy controlling ownership at that time. I believe that this wouldn’t be a rogue Barstool investment. Penn National would be tied in. They are the part that really stands to benefit from the exposure. I don’t know exactly what it would look like but suspect they are working on it. Also saw yesterday that Portnoy is moving to Philly to be more involved on the Penn National end of things.
  6. I’m going to go with KC, Atl, Buf, Det, Minn, NE, Philly, Carolina, Indy, Balt, Chargers, NOLA, SF, Dal, Pitt, Den
  7. The New Era deal paid the Bills roughly $5M annually. With Barstool being owned by a sports gambling operation it make TOTAL sense that they’d be interested in a naming rights deal (or at least the exposure of trying). Penn National has a market cap of 7.65B. For what it’s worth the first part of the barstool purchase was 36% for $163M in cash and stock. This deal likely doesn’t happen but it isn’t because they couldn’t afford it. $5M a year for the rest of the lease is a bargain for a sports gaming company looking to grow. It’s actually one of the few situations in the world where naming rights might end up beneficial.
  8. They just sold to Penn National for $450M. I thought you were normally on top of this kind of stuff?
  9. You might be right. It was my first stab at meme creation
  10. Yeah, that’s the real battle. I think that it is Stidham’s job to lose as they want to develop a young guy. If we get into the season though and Cam is out like 2 weeks, where do they go? If they are like 8-6 at the time what happens?
  11. Lol at anyone that thinks Cam and Stidham are “competing” for this job. Stidham is the Patriots backup QB and we don’t even know if that’s a role that he can adequately fill.
  12. Hate to break it to you but no one is going to say “no thanks” to $4m to $5M a year for that.
  13. I’m not surprised. When buying naming rights you want brands that are aligned. Barstool and Bills fans go together like peanut butter and jelly. I know some people take offense to that but it’s true. I’ve been to lots of other NFL Stadiums and we are different. Our extremes are infinitely more extreme than anywhere else. Our normal would be extreme in a lot of other places. With that being said I doubt that Erie County will go for that. If the number is big enough though you’ll start to see a little fight brewing between PSE and the county.
  14. I so desperately wanted that video to find it’s way onto the inter webs. I had this vision, if we had fans, where we could have a poster as big as a section that’s a screenshot of Bob’s big moment. That would have been the most epic troll job ever. Picture playing the Pats and Bobby is in his suite entertaining his guests. Directly across from his suite is a massive rollout of his o face. He’d have to sell the team ???
  15. Same reason, just to be in that environment. FWIW, I’m not planning to go sit in a parking lot in OP. I just suspect that some people will and that’s the reasoning.
  16. You just watch in the parking lot. At LSU about half of the people at the tailgate never enter the game. You have 100,000 people watching from their tailgate setup.
  17. He was in the AAF or XFL. He’s only 31 and was good there.
  18. He just feels limited to me. I hope that I’m wrong. He’s a bruiser but doesn’t feel dynamic enough. He will be an upgrade to Gore but I don’t see how he takes touches from Motor.
  19. Another one: - The 1st offensive play of the season will be a deep ball to Diggs. We play that trash Jets secondary and Daboll loves to do stuff like that.
  20. I don’t know if this belongs here or not. I’m WAY higher on Singletary than most of this board and WAY lower on Moss than most of this board. I don’t think the split ever falls below 70/30. Moss may get the red zone carries (although Motor scored 66 rushing TDs in 3 years at FAU). I say Singletary has north of 1,200 yards and Moss has about 1/2 of that.
  21. NFL: - 3 Teams from the AFC North make the playoffs (Ravens, Browns, Steelers) with Pittsburgh as the division winner. - Kyler Murray wins MVP - Pats miss the playoffs - Cowboys and KC have the 1st round byes Bills: - Win the AFC East by 2+ games - Allen goes to the Pro Bowl - Win a playoff game - Addison has < 5 sacks
  22. That’s not even in the neighborhood of what he’s going to get. He will be WAY closer to 4-60 than 4-30.
