  1. Great stuff Gunner. I’m a little higher on Carter than you seem to be. I felt that his senior bowl showing was more indicative of the player that he can be than playing with a bunch of future mechanical engineers at Duke. He is powerful and can get low. To me, he can be a productive rotational guy day 1 and play on important passing downs. Great summary on Bishop too. I like the player and the fit. I think that the Bills will be okay at safety now. I didn’t love the Coleman pick either. He feels like more of a role player than “the guy.” The Bills seem to be replicating the 49ers passing game but without the field stretcher in Ayiuk (at least he isn’t a Bill yet). Franklin and Baker are guys that I like moving forward. Jacob Cowing is another guy that I would like a little later if Franklin and Baker are gone.
  2. My favorite of the 3 picks. I still want more receivers but Carter can play. That was a position of need and the Bills added some pass rush.
  3. I don’t put much stock into PFF. He’s a lot like Poyer when he got here. The Bills have liked him for a while. We will see I guess but the Bills are solid at S now regardless of how it shakes out in terms of playing time.
  4. I like Malik Washington too. Is it crazy that I still want 2 more WRs? It’s a weak spot on the roster and we can add some different skills.
  5. I’m good with Franklin moving forward. I like Baker a lot too. He’s another boom or bust guy but like him. Jacob Cowing is another guy that I have my eye on later. He’s small but quick. I don’t necessarily care that he’s a slot guy. We have a bunch of those. He’s a guy that gets open.
  6. I think Edwards might end up as the best of the 3. He is a playmaker that is a little underappreciated. It’s like when Hyde and Poyer got here.
  7. He’s a good football player. The Bills need more of those. I’m not jumping on the couch but not throwing things at the TV either. Solid
  8. https://youtu.be/qTzxoP2TydI?si=o82DFBbnhLFyqiAC
  9. Hope to be wrong. Guys with his level of seperation have almost all failed.
  10. I’d like to see the Bills use some of the later picks on vets, to move up or to move into next year’s draft. I don’t want the Bills drafting more than 6 guys. They just don’t have the roster space.
  11. I’m a Pearsall fan. My thinking was more Shanahan than Lynch. Imagine what that guy could do with Worthy? That’s the same reason I didn’t want him in KC. Worthy is dangerous in the right offense.
  12. I think SF was taking Worthy
  13. Winners: - Bears - Chiefs - Lions - Eagles - Jags - Pats (was really hoping they’d take JJ) Losers: - 1/2 Vikings (JJ sucks) - Broncos - Raiders - Falcons
  14. I still think it’s Ayiuk that gets dealt. The Pearsall pick is more duplication when it comes to Ayiuk. He also has the easier contract to move. I wonder if you could get Ayiuk for 60 and 128 or something like that? If that’s the case, take Dejean (or Newton here), trade for Ayiuk & then take Baker at 95. That would be 🔥
  15. I don’t believe, for a second, that the Bills, or every team for that matter, didn’t have calls about going up and down. That’s malpractice. Now, maybe you didn’t like the cost that you were hearing. That’s a different conversation. You obviously have to listen. If the value is there, you pull the trigger. That’s exactly what Beane described happening with the Carolina trade.
  16. That’s an interesting take. 🍻
  17. I hear you. The Bills certainly could have taken him themselves. The need and value was there. They could have started with Carolina there and tried to get them to come up for Worthy. SF could have targeted him too. At the end of the day, you had to take the deal if you didn’t want to draft him. The nonsense about only worrying about your own draft board is BS though. The Bills do need to be concerned about what KC is doing. That’s the team that has knocked you out 3 times.
  18. If you are referring to John Ross jumping way up after his 40 you are correct. If you’re talking about Worthy moving way up, you’re incorrect. He was always projected early. Here is a mock draft from July 2023: https://www.si.com/nfl/draft/news/2024-nfl-mock-draft-caleb-williams-drake-maye-marvin-harrison-jr-brock-bowers-first-round-training-camp
  19. Lol, are you referring to the time that he traded his 1st round pick, while needing a QB, for arguably the best QB ever? That draft was McDermott though.
  20. Surprised that so few people are mentioning Johnny Newton here. He is likely in the conversation for BPA & is at a position the Bills need (at least long term). Either way, I don’t think that the Bills pick at 33.
  21. I’m sorry, I don’t understand the question? What does “rated” mean (or have to do with anything)? He is a 4.21 guy that was projected as a 1st round pick long before the combine (years even). He was a 3 time all big 12 selection in his 3 seasons. He’s twitchy and obviously has big play ability. He’s a big version of Hollywood Brown (who is now also on the Chiefs). That speed, with Andy Reid, is a nightmare.
  22. What are you willing to pay for Sutton? 5th? It’s not that they fooled everyone. He was a 1st round wr, that ran the fastest 40 ever. People took that as “he must play like John Ross.” Worthy was an elite WR, for multiple years, at one of the biggest programs in the country. I think that you could have let a lot of guys go to KC and been okay. This wasn’t one of them.
