  1. Maybe, but that’s the point. The Browns are a mess. They’re a very talented mess. They have a sleazy owner to go with their scumbag QB. There is absolutely a path to them winning the division. There is no path to the Jets, Seahawks, Pats (I said it), etc… winning their divisions.
  2. Anyone get theirs yet? I’m assuming that we will be emailed the code at some point soon.
  3. That’s why I said, “with the right breaks.” That team is talented and could still add Jimmy G. If the Browns go 7-4 or even 6-5 before Watson comes back they can win the division. See above on Cleveland. Pittsburgh went to the playoffs last year with worse QB play. Somehow they became underrated. It isn’t crazy to think that they go from 9-7-1 to 11-6 and win the division.
  4. This division is wide open. Any of the 4 teams could win with the right breaks. I went with the Bengals. Despite an incredibly difficult schedule, I think that they’re the best team. My guess is that all of the teams are pretty close.
  5. RIP Luke 🙏🏼🙏🏼. Prayers up for Dawson and his family.
  6. God forbid the Bills jettison Jake Kumerow to find a spot for Odell Beckham Jr. People, when OBJ was last on the field he was DOMINATING in the Super Bowl. He was well on his way to Super Bowl MVP before getting hurt. There are people here worried about him taking Jake Kumerow’s roster spot or about TAKING TARGETS AWAY FROM MCKENZIE & KNOX. I love those guys but, STOP!! Please stop!!! That’s beyond absurd. Beckham is a HOF talent, with proven production, on the biggest stage. You’d be getting him for pennies coming off the injury. If you REALLY think signing him is bad for the Bills, you’re lost.
  7. Obviously, it is tougher to throw, punt, catch, kick, handle the ball, cheer, coach, rush the passer, etc… when the weather is bad. That’s not a point that needed to be raised. That holds true FOR EVERY SINGLE POSITION. It’s safe to assume, “Araiza won’t consistently hit 82 yard punts, into the wind, on a rainy December day.” We already know that it is harder to play football in bad weather. But his career isn’t? He’s the greatest punter in NCAA history. Was that sample size sufficient or is “it harder to punt against pro competition?” I’ll book that bet and give you 20-1. You name the stakes. If Haack makes the team I’ll send you 20X of what you’ll send me if it’s Araiza. You CLEARLY are not familiar with Araiza’s reputation. He’s not “like Bojo.” He’s “like no one ever” at this point. It needs to continue, obviously, but at this stage there isn’t a comp.
  8. Um, the guy is, arguably, the most talented punter ever. Why wait to “make sure that the sky doesn’t fall?” Don’t go through life like that!! Celebrate that we have AN ELITE talent at a position where we were, arguably, the worst in the league. This isn’t a time to be negative!! Enjoy the ride!!
  9. It’s a take on Chris Paul being “The Point God.” That became a thing 10-15 years ago. This was just a clever pun to recognize, arguably, the most gifted punter ever.
  10. I THINK that they will play some. I’d prefer that they don’t. The window is open for a Super Bowl run. I wouldn’t take any chances 🤷🏻‍♂️
  11. We can’t steal nicknames. Greg Zuerlein is legatron.
  12. If teams want to put their returners 60 yards away, a 13 yard return would be a net 47. For some perspective, a 13 yard return average would be the highest in NFL history. The highest net punting average in NFL history is 44.5 yards. So basically, if they put someone back 60 and averaged more return yards than anyone ever, the net would be 2.5 yards higher than any punter in history. Lol, teams can’t “adjust.” They just have to deal with trading 10-20 yards every time in the punting game.
  13. Think that he could have been higher but nice to be in the top 100.
  14. I don’t know. I moved back to Buffalo in December of 2020 and started hearing about it shortly after. I’ve purchased some GREAT vintage Bills gear there. It certainly isn’t cheap but it is elite.
  15. There are people, on this very board, that thought he was “brought in as competition for Haack.” They’ve been “monitoring the situation” so as to find out who might “win the job.” The SECOND that the Bills used one of their 15 visits on him it was his job. If you are one of those people, go look in the mirror and say, “I’m an idiot and not very smart.”
  16. Lol at everyone that thought this was a “punting competition” throughout camp 😂😂.
  17. The answer is Queen City Vintage on Hertel. I was actually there today. They have some officially licensed “Bills Super Bowl Champions” shirts from the early ‘90’s. I tried one on last year but didn’t fit. https://queencityvintage.com
  18. Lol, I’ve had all pretty much all of these lately. The answer is Bar Bill and it isn’t particularly close (never had 911 Tavern). There are a lot of really good to great wings. Bar Bill is in it’s own tier.
  19. I finally pulled the trigger on the tickets this afternoon. My flights and hotel have been booked for a while. You can catch your boy in section 340 row 8. We will probably end up at that party prior (there are a lot of us apparently 20ish). Looking forward to this ride!!!
  20. I think that he’s more “terrible person than bust.” He’s been okay when he got a chance but he broke his femur. Between the armed robbery and the injury it’s a pass. There is certainly some talent there though. Someone else can take their chance at getting him right. We don’t have time for an experiment (KC didn’t either).
  21. In lieu of the Poyer injury (and Hyde getting dinged), does anyone want to change their stance on “the importance of preseason reps?”
  22. I signed up. I used to buy Madden annually. I haven’t in a while but have it from a few years ago (Lamar on the cover). I figured that it makes sense to get the newer version as the Bills are elite.
  23. Standing in line to get an autograph as an adult is embarrassing. I promise you are being judged by those around you and especially by the player. It’s sad. Grown men fighting over matchbox cars is embarrassing as well. It’s just less embarrassing than asking a 25 year-old man to write his name for you on your shirt. That’s way worse but neither is good. Most players don’t like signing at all but it’s because of the adults. There is rarely a situation where it is ONLY children. It may be primarily children looking for a signature but there are almost always a few weirdo adults lurking. They generally are okay with kids. Signing isn’t fun for them though because they will never get to every kid. They’re almost certainly going to leave one disappointed and it’s not because they want to. They have meetings, etc… They REALLY don’t care if some weirdo like that guy that called WGR leaves empty handed. In terms of an online forum, and don’t assume this place is just men, it’s not that weird. We watch games. We watch analysis. We listen to sports talk radio. We discuss the team at the bar. This is just another avenue to do it. People talking football is nowhere near as weird as grown men asking other grown men to write their names on their shirts.
  24. Matchbox cars aren’t adult men writing their name on a football that you bought in the gift shop. If you’re an adult and want an autograph, buy it. The players have a day where they sign hundreds, and in some cases, thousands of items. These go to various charities, auctions, etc… That’s where an adult can get that signed football that they otherwise would have trampled a 7 year-old for. There should NEVER be a situation where an adult feels entitled to a signature from a player. Standing in line screaming “Josh, Josh, Josh” as a full grown man is embarrassing. As many of you know, I worked in pro sports for a long time. Players HATE you more than I do. When we had events with the players and fans we would be assigned to a player. Basically we had to prevent overbearing adults from trying to get autographs/pictures so that the kids could. We were like caddies on the PGA tour telling everyone to put their phones down. The players don’t want to look like jerks but I PROMISE that I’ve never met one that wanted to sign for a healthy adult. If you see Josh and Brittany at dinner don’t interrupt. Send them a drink or dessert. Josh has done enough for you. Feel free to thank him instead of asking for more.
  25. If you’re an adult and seek autographs or feel that you’re entitled to them, I hate you. Grow up
