Who will be this year's Terrell Bernard??
Kirby Jackson replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t know if this counts because he played well last year but, Christian Benford. He’s, by far, the most underrated player on the team. He can make the leap from good player to Pro Bowl player this year. -
Lol, this is an odd take. You’re down on him because you don’t know about him. If you don’t know about him, why are you so confident that Shakir will be a better fit? I love Samuel as a player. It’s probably a little irrational but I’ve been waiting for more Buckeyes on this roster. He isn’t a pure WR. For what it’s worth, they are pretty similar. They are guys that are better with the ball in their hands. Samuel is a converted RB (I thought Shakir was too). Samuel is fast. He’s one of the fastest guys on the team. He’s a rich man’s McKenzie or Harty and a poor man’s Deebo. Samuel and Shakir have similar strengths.

PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion
Kirby Jackson replied to Spiderweb's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unless there is something different than when we went through, I don’t think that’ll be the case. They would have never been able to move the clubs if it was covered and heated elsewhere. The concourses will be enclosed as well I believe. The stadium will be a lot “warmer” than now, but to your point, cold is cold. It was really, really cold a couple of times over the last few years. I couldn’t feel my fingers at one game late in the year last year. The best answer, was, and still is, to have the whole thing enclosed. It was going to be incredibly expensive either way. Putting an open stadium is Orchard Park doesn’t make much sense to me. -

Yeah, it isn’t a large percentage that are heated. It was like 5k seats. Something like 60% are covered though. Additionally, there is some crazy wind technology that, in theory, will cut that back significantly. There are 300 level clubs now. It’s 200 level and 300 level. That could be the heated part you were referring to. Both levels are the same price. -

Yep When we did the tour they were talking about how great those will be. They said it’ll be nicer there than in the lower level. I’m imaging that is going to cause some headaches for them. I think that they will be priced below the lower level but, in many ways, a superior seat. When you do the tour they show you the distance from the field vs. an equivalent area now. The stadium is steeper. -
He will be the first WR drafted next year. He will likely go in the top 5. If the Bills don’t go the veteran route they can try to go way up for him. It’s another option for the top of the depth chart but obviously not for this year. p.s. I like a good dad joke. Well done!!

Mine are $15k each. Across the aisle is $20k. I don’t know how many sections until there’s a drop (if there is another one). My guess is that $10k is the floor on the clubs. I’m fairly certain that’s the only heated options. There are lots of covered options. Most of the 300 level is covered. -

I’m currently in 237 as well. These are probably 1 to 1 1/2 sections closer to the 50. -

I’m in the 200 level clubs (I think). They are in the 200 level and 300 level and only on one side of the field (visitors). I didn’t commit at the meeting. I waited until they released lower PSLs the next week and moved closer to the goal line. I’m at like the 20 yard line. -
Love that idea!! You can probably get him for one of those 2nds.

The 300s are primarily covered. The only heated sections are the clubs (not field club). There are 2 levels of the club that I’m in (can’t remember what it is called). Those are covered and heated. The Legends Club is also heated (and I’m pretty sure covered). I think that’s like 5k seats or so in total. -
This is where I’m at with him. I think that he can absolutely be an important piece on a good team. If he is the top guy in your WR room, that’s not ideal. I think similarly of Samuel. I think Coleman can be a better Gabe. If the Bills acquire a number 1 via trade or the draft in the next year that room will be fine (assuming Coleman is a better Gabe). A depth chart of Ayiuk (Burden, Jefferson, Higgins or whomever), Coleman, Shakir/Samuel, Shakir/Samuel. That would be a very good WR room. My issue with the Bills WR room is the top of the depth chart not the balance. If they inserted someone at the top, it could be a good group.

Coleman is so damn likable. I really hope that kid can play. He will instantly be a favorite of the fans and media.

Who is the best #14 in Bills history?
Kirby Jackson replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol, it’s Diggs and it’s not particularly close. He has, arguably, the 4 best receiving seasons in Bills history. He was better than a bridge QB and a backup QB. -
Deion Jones signed to 1-year deal per Schefter
Kirby Jackson replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is he better than Foster at that point? Foster had back-to-back 100+ yard games. I’m not saying that it is or isn’t but the situation is similar. The last 4 games of that year Foster had 19 receptions for 285 yards and 2 TDs. On the season that would be 81 catches for 1,211 yards and 8.5 TDs. If you take Shakir’s most recent 4 games (2 regular season and 2 postseason) he had 20 receptions for 219 yards and 2 TDs. If you were to extrapolate that over the season it is 85 receptions for 931 yards and 8.5 TDs. I agree that Foster was playing with less talent. The targets weren’t that different though. Foster saw 25 in that 4 game stretch and Shakir saw 22. Add into that, Foster probably saw more defensive attention because Shakir had better players around him. Also, add in Josh Allen in 2023 is a way better QB than Josh Allen in 2022. It isn’t all that different. If anything, advantage Foster… -

Fair, but the response to that will be, “that’s an incredibly small sample size.” It’s the Robert Forster argument. At the end of the 2018 season the Bills threw the ball to Foster a lot and had great results. It didn’t translate over. I HOPE that Shakir is the guy that he was late last year with increased targets and defensive attention. We don’t know whether he will be a young Stef Diggs, growing from 5th RD. WR to all pro or a young Robert Foster, who came roaring out of the gates and was never heard from again. Likely, he will be somewhere in between but again, we don’t know. -
He probably thought that he knew who the Pats wanted. What if the Pats wanted Worthy? Would he have been okay with them getting him? They’re talking out of both sides of their mouth. You THINK that you know who someone wants but you aren’t sure. How do we know that the Bills target wasn’t Pearsall at 32? We don’t.
-
I understand that. They were okay going from 28 to 32 not knowing if Coleman would be there. What is the Pats went to 31? What is SF took him instead of Pearsall? There’s layers to this… I understand that. See above ^. When they went from 28 to 32 there was no guarantee that Coleman OR Legette would be there.

It sounds like the Bills were down with either of them. It’s a little ironic though that they went down 4 spots giving KC their guy but were like, “oh no, not the Pats.” That feels backwards to me. 🤷🏻♂️ Either way, messing with the Pats is hilarious. They let them negotiate the deal and then took it to Carolina 😂😂.
