Could very easily be the motto for the Trump administration, in total. It is a way of life....

NFL releases All-Decade Team - 4 former Bills selected
Buftex replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
None of those 4 guys had played their best football in a Bills uniform. Is that because the teams they were on weren't that talented, or because they were all over the hill (McCoy and Gorel, or couldn't blossom in Buffalo.(Peters and Lynch)? -
I like Alan. I am all in. But, I have to disagree with you the way you are remembering things, as far as Kelly's first few years being "comple ass" and fans wanting him gone. The game was quite a bit different in 1986. Back then, a 3000 passing season put you in the elite status as an NFL quarterback, Now that same standard is about 4500. Kelly may have had some personal off the field issues, but before 24/7 coverage, most of those were rumors. I had season tickets Kelly's first 2 seasons, I can promise you, nobody was clamoring to replace him. It was pretty obvious from his first start against the Jets, he would be one of the upper tier QB's in the league. Fans, being as fickle as they are, didn't really start whispering about Reich replacing him, until that Oilers comback game...Kelly had already lead the team to two Super Bowls, albeit losses. Some thought that, perhaps, Reich had some magic after the comeback. That wasn't hardcore fans...it was the bandwagoners who became die-hards when they became a perennial playoff team. I guess what I am trying to say, as somebody who is super excited about the potential of Josh Alan, to pretend he is as far along in his development as an NFL QB as Kelly was, at the same point is not accurate. No reason he can't get there though.

Sorry.. you are right...my eyes are getting bad....didn't read that correct. My apologies plenzmid!

I have seen all but the final two. The show is great...Manning is fantastic. To me, the best one was the Elvis episode. I consider myself a bit of a music guy, and I love Elvis. I knew he was a big Browns fan...but I am not sure how I never knew about his obsession with football in general...

Biggest miss in Bills history? C'mon plenzmd 1!! Super Bowl 25? RIP Tom Dempsey....his record for longest field goal stood for 41 years...that is pretty impressive.

Yes...a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He is not quite a year yet...a little more hyper than Murphy, the Corgi we had for 15 years, before him. But I have grown accustomed to his ways! He can be highly entertaining! Pemborkes have no tail...but they still chase them.

I know you appreciate a great songwriter...give him a listen.

RedZone re-airing 2019 season starting April 6
Buftex replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From this article, it looks like it is only on Red Zone... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001108286/article/nfl-redzone-to-reair-2019-sundays-starting-april-6 The past few years, the NFL Network would rebroadcast their Red Zone coverage, each Sunday, starting after the draft...maybe that will still happen. -

So, this will be on the NFL Network? It has been in the past. In other words, you don't have to have NFL Red Zone to watch? -
I have been sort of half-hearted, part-time Bucs fan the last few years, sine they got Mike Williams. I have to say, I used to think their jerseys were really hideous...but they finally, for me anyway, fell into that "so ugly, they are cool" classification (like Bengals)...now that I finally like them, they get rid of them!

Harvey... the one on the right.

I was at the game when he missed the kick against Miami...but when I hear his name, the 63 yarder is pretty much the only thing that comes to mind...it was a record that stood for over 40 years.
-
Not sure what your point is...but ok. I will pray for you!

That is the society we live in now...mention any celebrities name, and somebody will almost immediately bring up the worst thing they know of them. It will define them forever, no matter how insignificant.

I have about 350 games on DVD (including this one_...the holy grail of Bills games to have is the season opener against Miami in 1980. The game where the goal posts came down, after breaking the Dolphins losing streak. I have been trading games for decades, and nobody has a copy of that game. Apparently, it was really only broadcast in the Miami area. Don't suppose anyone has a copy? Ir was my first game as a season ticket holder, and to this day, maybe the most exciting live sporting event I have ever attended...

I had season tickets from 1980- 1987...I got out just in time! This was a fun game to be at. Everyone was sure we were going to blow it in the end!

Good to know...he was terrible.

Honestly, I think the NFL Network could be so much better....I can't think of a single personality on the network that I think is really good...Kurt Warner, maybe....Willie McGinnest...and Amber Theo Harris has great legs...Steve Smith and Marshall Faulk may be the worst of the bunch. The ones that aren't "too bad" are only not "too bad" in comparison to the others on the network. They just seem to go for the lowest common denominator...all the time. I love the idea of the NFL Network, but it is just hot garbage for the most part. I always here people, sort of generically, praise the Good Morning Football show, but it makes me cringe...

Better Call Saul: Season 5 Trailer - 23 Feb
Buftex replied to /dev/null's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I think the new season has been amazing. Better Call Saul, The Plot Against America and My Brilliant Friend have made Monday night the best night on tv in this time of quarantine.
