  1. I read a review that said it was like ranch-dip for WNY'ers
  2. Hanging with the dregs of PPP is not really all that appealing, Hall of Famer!
  3. All Trump supporters may not be stupid, which only adds to their shittiness.
  4. He played last season with a torn labrum in his shoulder...kinda like the injury Cornelius Bennett had his last year in Buffalo. With a torn labrum, it is impossible to raise your arm above your shoulder. I am not a pro football player, but I have suffered the same injury...I think you have to really love the game, and be tough as nails to play with that kind of an injury. If it is healed, I think he is a great idea for the Bills. Our LB depth is still pretty thin, and he has the toughness (it appears) that McDermott values. As a nine year vet, at the minimum, he would be a steal. Sign him to a one year deal. He has been a FA since March 3rd, and given the strangeness of this off-season, I would imagine he is anxious to sign somewhere sooner than later.
  5. Great record!
  6. That actually makes some sense.
  7. I played everything I could, until 10th grade...I loved playing all sports (while football is my favorite to watch, basketball was my favorite to play), but when I got to 10th grade, the size advantage I always had over other kids my age kinda shrunk. I got more into music, and most of the kids who played sports were kinda *****. I think I coulda kept playing football and basketball if I had wanted (or maybe I tell myself that), but i just kinda lost interest. I went cold turkey, and just didint go out for anything in senior high. Funny thing is, even though I stopped playing very young, I still think I suffered permanent physical damage from playing football. I had fugged up shoulders at a pretty early age...and at 55 now, my knees feel like they are 75 most days. I always played harder than smarter.
  8. Just curious. In what way is BLM perceived as winning? How would you judge "winning" or "losing" in two months time, in the middle of a pandemic, and mass unemployment?
  9. So do the Incels of PPP pretty much represent the whole GOP?
  10. Yoho with AOC, Matt Gaetz (and prez Lumpy too) vs Liz Cheney...Roy Den Hollander (the "anti-feminist" lawyer) vs the family of judge Esther Salas...it has been a great week so far for the GOP.
  11. You are your results, so that is fair. I will say though, I think he was doing a decent job of building a team. It kind of got blown up when Rex was hired. Ryan was the de-facto GM at that point. Whaley never got to pick his QB, or his coach. And, you can't deny, there was a certain urgency to getting the team to the playoffs, asap.
  12. After being fired upon the completion of his final (lame duck) draft with the Bills, I seem to remember a lot of talk (met with a fair amount of derision by Bills fans) that Whaley was pushing for the Bills to draft Patrick Mahomes. Instead, the pick was traded to the Chiefs for their first rounder and third rounders. I love Tre'Davious White, and I am glad we have Allen..but Patrick Mahomes? I will always believe that Whaley made his mistakes, but he wasn't the disaster as a GM that seems to be the prevailing opinion around here. He never really had all the power he should have had, to be successful.
  13. But..but..but All Lives Matter!
  14. Nikki Lane....the last live show I saw
  15. I hate being that guy, but in 2018 he had, possibly, the worst receiving corp in the league. An injury riddled Charles Clay was his best option. Look at the progress he made with the addition of Beasley and Brown, two guys who were considered 2nd tier receivers, by most. He has been credited with 6 fourth quarter comebacks, and 8 game-winning drives in his 27 starts. I realize you aren't saying he sucks, but I think you are giving him less credit than he deserves. Just think about that Dallas game. There was no dramatic final seconds play, but that fourth down conversion was a career defining play in my opinion. He sets a great tone for the team. He is young, a little over exuberant at times...but he is a leader Sure, there were a few times (1st New England game, 2nd half of the playoff game) where he may have gotten a little too wound up, but I just love the energy he brings to the team. I feel like we are seeing him grow up in public, so to speak. He was raw coming out. . He still has to get the long ball under control...and he needs to learn to hold on to the ball better....but I think those are things he can, and will improve upon. I think part of his long-ball problem was lack of confidence in his receivers. That will come as his receivers get better. Can't wait to see him mesh with Diggs.
  16. I have re-watched the first 14 games of the 2019 season over the last 3 weeks. I get it that Allen still has room for improvement, but he was pretty great for more games than not this past season. I just don't think these national guys are actually watching him play. If he shows the same kind of growth in season three, that he showed from season one and two, the Bills have their franchise guy. As someone who wasn't crazy about him coming out of college, I am so glad they had to "settle" for him.
  17. They should just go with Lady Antiblm
  18. Perhaps if there had been statues of Lou to learn from, the prez would have got it right.
  19. Back in the 1994 season, I decided to try to get a football card autographed by every single player who had a card, and was on one of the Bills Super Bowl teams. I sent cards in the mail to each one of them. It was 36 different players. You know, every single one of them wrote back, within a year (except Bruce took about 2 years). The lone holdout was Mark Kelso. I ended up trying him 3 different times, with no result. imagine that, big-timed by Mark Kelso!
  20. I don't know if he really believed it (he had a good sense of humor...died way too young!), but it worked for me. I never made the Bill Cody until the 80's, seeing some of the old programs.
  21. When I was a kid (early 70's), I asked my uncle what the name "Buffalo Bills" meant. He told me the team was named after a "bunch of guys named Bill, sitting around, driniking beers, asses hanging out of their pants, watching their team". A bunch of genric working-class slugs. It made sense to me...maybe we can sell that!
  22. I miss the NBA and NHL playoffs. Even if these leagues do somehow make it back to finish of their 2019-20 seasons, my interest isn't what it would have been. I will watch my Celtics, and that is about it. I have a collection of close to 300 Bills games on DVD...I have pulled out a lot of old late 70's and early 80's games. It has been really fun to watch them... I guess like the rest of you, I will really miss football this fall, if it doesn't happen...I have real doubts about that. I make a substantial chunk of money during the college football season, and Buffalo Bills football has been, perhaps, the greatest, most consistent "fun" thing in my life. I could probably count on 2 hands the number of games I have missed since 1972 (none since 1989), so I will feel it.
