Incredible ignorance, it seems, is prevalent in "Obama's America"...the video is pretty bad too. Looks like the president still has a lot to contend with...

Not sure exactly why, but I think Trent Dilfer is my least favorite of the talking heads...I liked Kiper more, before McShay came on the scene...now, they are always together, and it seems like a schtick...they always have to disagree...but, I will be watching ESPN...my only choice, and it works for me, for the draft...

To which they would reply: "Baseball? Minor league?"

I don't think so, but, I was just impressed that they added a second screen..."Hockey Heaven" Just noticed, you got a gold frame for your birthday!

I don't know, T-Pegs might not be the reason the Sabres turned it around (I personally think he is a big factor), but he certainly knows how to stroke the fans... http://wgr550.com/-Party-in-the-Plaza--To-Return/9607733 Party on the plaza returns, with an additional screen!

Right? Now we just have hardcore fans, and "empathy fans": Them: "So, who is your team?" Us: "Bills" Them Us: "Buffalo Bills" Them: "Man, I used to love them back in the day...didn't they lose like 2 Super Bowls or somehting...I felt sorry for you guys...they look pretty good now, huh?" Me: "Yeah, they're great..."

"Safe At Home" is a terrific record. Some say, it was the first real "country-rock" albums. Don't know if you ever heard the deluxe edition of the Byrds "Sweethearts Of the Rodeo". If you are a GP fan, it has about 5 ISB tracks that were previously unreleased ("Truck Drivin' Man" will be on the RSD release), and they are phenominal. Just amazing all the great music that gets lost in time...I am a bit of a music junkie, and I would say about 95% of the stuff I buy was released 20-40 years ago..but it is new to me...

Been working at one of the best indie record stores in the country (Waterloo Records- Austin, TX), part time, for almost 11 years...our owner was one of the "creators" of the Record Store Day concept. It has really taken off...we are expecting a big turnout on Saturday. We have instores, that day, with Eric Johnson and the Toadies...

NFLN 's Jamie Dukes calls Ryan Mallet a Wigger

It sounds like some of you need to get out of the house more... -
That does not sound right. While I have Time Warner (playoff games were on Center Ice last night, and Sabres/Flyers scheduled for tonight), all the Directv stuff is geared toward the Center Ice playoff coverage...don't want to start a war with Fezmid, but is it possible the person you were talking to just doesn't know what the hell they are talking about? My brother, in Atlanta, got playoff games on Center Ice, last season, via Directv. He canceled Directv, because he says their customer service blows, at least where he is.

I hear what you are saying, but Merriman has had a multitude of injuries...sure, a lot of guys come back from injuries, while others just keep pull, break and strain things, until their career is done...Merriman is close to that point now. Like I said earlier, it would be awesome if he could return to his pre-suspension/pre-injury roll, form...but I think the Bills would be foolish to bank on it.

I don't have Directv, but Time Warner...I was searching, trying to figure out which station to record...like you, I have to work as well. I came across this, from Directv...I hope it doesn't confuse matters, scroll down to todays date: http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/content/sports/nhl_schedules

Bills pick up goal line specialist
Buftex replied to Jim in Anchorage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My brother and I used to build multiple snow men in the back yard, set them up in an defensive line formation, along with linebackers, and a few DB's to make it a maze...and then just pulverize the crap out of them, playing football in the snow...a few of them even had football helmets...I think we spent way more time building the snowmen than playing "football" but it was worth it...the good old days! -
Caught most of that on ESPNU last night...I was impressed with what I saw, but, I don't know jack about how college translates into the pros. Something tells me, Mallett could do well with the right team, pretty early on...but he definitely seems to need ("definitely seems"!!)a very good, to great, O-line in front of him. Personally, I like the "skill set" that Mallett posseses, but his style doesn't seem to fit our current HC/OC. I am a sucker for the traditional drop back, big armed QB (Bledsoe type), but the game seems to be trending away from that style (someone tell Al Davis!), and Chan Gailey seems to relish an offense that employs a QB who can move around a bit better.

Happy birthday, you miserable prick! I kid...

The only pain he is likely to bring is another bad knee, or a quad tear...I hope I am wrong, but I am not too excited about this guy. Funny, and I realize it is the off season, during a lock-out, but when I think of the 2011 Buffalo Bills, Merriman doesn't even cross my mind...it would be cool to be pleasantly surprised for a change, about one of these reclamation projects.

Sorry... It just seems that all of the things mentioned as "the reason" for the Civil War are possibly accurate...it is just foolish to think that slavery wasn't one of the issues...

He was waiting for John Adams to help him!

Ooh, good one Rob's House! I never can tell if you are serious...aren't you the one who said psychology is all a bunch of hogwash, becasue you know somebody who said they were depressed, but rebounded from it? You took some psych classes in college and decided from your narrow perspective, it was all just bull ****? Talk about poorly articulated arguments...you are slamming someone because they are just using the argument that "someone else says it"? Isn't that what you, and everyone here does? Were you around for the Civil War? Now it is all a liberal conspiracy? The more I get to hear people (like yourself) who proudly identify themselves as part of the Tea Party movement (appropriate) the more I realize there is nothing to it...a movement to make intellect a bad thing...pee-ew!

Funny, a fair number of Texans are quick to claim that they are part of the West, not the South...

Yeah, Rob's House, I get it, you get it...

You would think, with the #3 pick in the draft, the Bills would be drafting a high profile prospect, and that would translate into one nationally televised pre-season game, no? I see Carolina didn't make the pre-season cut either...
