So, when you and LA "jerk, jerk" to Ann Coulter, do you do it in the same room? Gross.

It's good to see they are working to get to the bottom of things, from the lower end!

This doesn't even make sense...I have never mentioned Colmes...actually, I think he is kind of a dip-****. The fact that he "retired" from the Hannity & Colmes show, just so he could play the part of light-weight liberal on all the Fox shows says enough about him. Now, maybe I am missing something...I am not a Detroit Lions fan. But, I assune, if I was, Suh would be one of my favorite players. What am I distorting? For a tough talking conservative, you are really hyper-sensitive.

Gay marriage, abortion come to mind...although I am sure you will be able to find some way of making those into different issues. So, you and LA jerk it to Ann Coulter? Whatever floats your boat.

Yeah, that was funny as hell! I think the Kelly character is hilarious... she reminds of way too many people I have worked with, over the years in, well... offices. Actually, I think all the characters are pretty great...Angela is pretty damn funny too!

Actually, I was being sarcastic...hence the eye-roller Chef (I think) was trying to imply that liberals/Democrats have some sort of obsession with dictating what people must do, ignoring a the whole other side to things. I only mentioned the auto insurance issue, because it is one that all (or most of us) participate in, understanding it's merits, even if we, personally, have never had to use them. It just seems like conservatives want government out of their business, unless it comes to one of their pet issues. The hypocrisy is mind-boggling, from all sides...on most any issue. BTW- Good one, though, on the Alan Colmes reference...I will remember that the next time you profess your admiration for Ann Coulter.

SI for Kids Article - It's Not Easy Being a Bills Fan
Buftex replied to ksm27's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There goes that liberal media, indoctrinating kids with the idea that being a Bills fan is a life of misery, pain, and solitude... j/k- nice piece. -
Anybody Watch "Namath" on HBO?
Buftex replied to RevWarRifleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Couldn't agree more...the week after Christmas 2010, two of my sisters and I drove from Buffalo, to Canton and then, Cleveland, to see the NFL and Rock-n'Roll HOF's. Actually, sisters didn't go to the NFL HOF, I just spent about 8 hours there, by myself...it was awesome....I could have probably spent another day there. Love seeing all the old uniforms, and busted helmets...the place just wreaks of history...I have never made it there for an induction weekend... maybe if Andre ever makes it in. Would be a blast to do that, and then see the Bills in a HOF game... BTW- the classic picture of YA Tittle, bleeding head, collapsed in the endzone, after that loss, is, to me, maybe the greatest sports photo of all time... http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.manlyweb.com/sports/injuries/yatittle.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.manlyweb.com/sports/injuries/yatittle-photo.htm&h=689&w=600&sz=59&tbnid=qkUxwf9bKO9NMM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=78&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dya%2Btittle%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3Du&zoom=1&q=ya+tittle&docid=xjaig51jYkOalM&hl=en&sa=X&ei=y9coT5LVNcuI0QHYlcXgAg&sqi=2&ved=0CEwQ9QEwBg&dur=69 -
Willis McGahee: I know many here hate him...
Buftex replied to Buftex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh, I can't tell who linked, but nobody really commented on the content of the article, just how they feel about him... -
That could apply to so many issues, from all sides of the political spectrum....the next person to run and says I am not required to pay for auto insurance every month (though I have never had an accident, in nearly 30 years of driving) gets my vote. What is best for me, should be best for everyone!

Willis McGahee: I know many here hate him...
Buftex replied to Buftex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think you, and maybe one other, were the only ones who clicked on the link...so for those too lazy: McGahee is working the crowd at a Pro Bowl practice, signing autographs...as he is signing a football, some guy in a Ravens jersey says something like "you guys would have won more games if you had a better Quarterback"... McGahee, kind of chuckling, says "Man, that's not right...like me saying you guys would be in the Super Bowl if you had a better kicker"... a bunch of fans in the area, who hear the exchange, all go "OOOOHHHH"...just thought it was pretty funny. As for Willis, I think he was a more than adequate (not amazing) running back for the Bills, who was finally getting healthy enough, when he was traded. I also don't recall him ever really saying **** about Buffalo, until he was on his way out the door...let's face it, Bills fans can be pretty thin skinned. I would imagine there are quite a few guys on the roster, even the "good guys", who have ranked playing in Buffalo as one of their bottom choices, as they embark on their pro career. I get it, Buffalo drafted him in the first round, when nobody else likely would have...but, as somebody said, earlier in the thread, these guys are human. He was an average back for Buffalo, on below average teams. -
Yeah, I think Mindy is pretty damn funny...not to mention that she is one of the writers...I had noticed her character in the show a bit less this season.

That is awesome...seems like the Ravens fans took it in good stride...of course, the article fails to mention that he played for the Ravens, which makes it all the more funny, IMO. -
Personally, I know the guy had his issues, but I always liked him...watch this interaction with fans at the Pro Bowl...it is freakin' great: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/01/30/willis-mcgahee-tim-tebow-ravens-fan-pro-bowl_n_1241754.html?ref=sports&icid=maing-grid7|main5|dl2|sec3_lnk3%26pLid%3D131368

It drew in 12.5 million viewers...down 8.1% from last years broadcast. It drew almost 3 million more viewers than the MLB all-star game in 2011. Sunday night games normally average about 27 million viewers. So, a big drop-off to be sure, but not nothing...I watched about 20 minutes of the beginning of the second half, when it dawned on me, I didn't really care.

It seems like "The Office" is coming closer to an end. A Dwight Schrute spin-off, and now this: http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2012/01/mindy-kalings-nbc-project-is-headed-to-fox.html

I hear Alaska Darin is arranging a PPP field trip to go see it! I don't know why I never realized that.
-
That might be interesting...the lead guy, Joel Murray, is a terrific actor...he played Freddie Rumsen on "Mad Men" and also was really, darkly funny on "Shameless".
-
One of my favorite "bits" (for lack of better term) was Michael Scotts' ongoing complete disdain for Toby... I had similar feelings for the HR person at one of my jobs, where I was a manager. The writers and the guy who played Toby had that dynamic down perfect. I always got a kick out of it.

Long, tan, firm and lovely... I dated a gorgeous Brazilian girl for about 3 months...best year of my life!

Oh yeah....

Well, they could have Dwight get a job at the corporate office, or head another branch... but, I think, no matter what they do...it is just a bad idea. Does anyone remember "Radar" or "After-M*A*S*H"? I didn't think so.

Chris Brown SPECULATES Bills in play for V Jackson
Buftex replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Colston would be great, but, for some reason, I just can't see New Orleans letting him slip away...Meahem possibly. RM has been "briliant" at times, but inconsistant over his career...good friend of mine is a huge Saints fan...every Sunday evening when I would talk to him, he would have some gripe about Meachem...but we also know he can be terrific at times.
