Not Sure We Will Repeat as AFCE Champs
Buftex replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, we can't just assume the division is ours...but I really do think, assuming they have some sort of real training camp, the defense will be better than it was last year. There is still free-agency signings going on, and we have an NFL draft in front of us. Have faith. -
Noticed something as I've looked back at last season's games
Buftex replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I remember this whole issue...and as I recall, during that stretch of bad 3rd Qtrs, the Bills had scored on nearly every first possession of the second half. -
I generally like Paul Hamilton...but I just have to ask, how would he know this? How would anyone know this, unless one of the owners was going around saying this. I am not going to defend the Pegulas handling of the two teams, they have made plenty of errors...but I think sometimes people read a lot into things, trying to make sense of things, and then run with them as fact. Unless the Bills were hemorrhaging money (like the Sabres most likely are) why would they regret giving so much power to Beane and McDermott?

No, I wasn't criticizing B-Man for making fun of the president...I would expect nothing less. Just the caveat he put that it could happen to anyone. Btw- I never made fun of Trump for his difficulties walking down a ramp...but the water thing, that was freaking hilarious!

Bears interested in Isaiah McKenzie
Buftex replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Especially for guys like McKenzie. He's never going to make elite receiver money, so a half million here or there is a big deal to him...as it would be for most of us. Wasn't there a rumor that the Bills were interested in Cordarelle Patterson? -
So classy of you B-man...thanks for supplying the video anyway!

Me Too - Hypocrisy or Procrastination What is the Answer ?
Buftex replied to T master's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Which only goes to prove that the dolt in the OP's post is pretty far off base in his assesment of this situation. -

Who is leading the charge to impeach Cuomo? Democrats. -
Back in the day, when I was really into Madden, I got so good against the computer (this was before on-line play existed)on All-Madden level that I eventually picked the worst team in "francise mode", cut or traded away any player with a rating of 70 or more, just to give myself a challenge. My team was the Tampa Bay Bucs. I played about 10 seasons as the Bucs. Won some Super Bowls, with the worst rosters I could assemble. As a result, in real life, the Bucs became one of my "other" teams to pull for, when the Bills were "out of it"...which was frequent.

Not that I necessarily want this to happen (though I liked Sammy), and I know you are being funny, an elite 21 year old athelete making professional American athlete money, has the chronilogical maturity of a 14 year old. He's only 27 years old now...which puts him on par with a 20 or 21 year old.

Exactly! This will be great for Trubisky.

My best friend is a huge Bears fan. I have seen a lot of Mitch play. I know it is easy to say, but I can't tell you how many times my buddy was crying over the Bears QB woes, and I would watch Trubisky and tell him "he is raw, but he has potential". He isn't a useless bust. He was a very athletic QB running an offense that was thin on talent, and (surprisingly) thin on offensive imagination. Hopefully we never have to find out...but I think Trubisky is a guy who could do very well in the right offense...the Bills offense will be good for him. He is like second year Josh. That isn't to say he ever gets to be as good as Allen was in year three, just that you can see there is something there with him. Like Josh, he showed improvement after sitting on the bench a bit this past season. I think this could be a great signing.

I'd be happy if it was "just" Ertz!
-
So, at work...can't really pay a lot of attention to this...on a scale of 1-5, how serious is this rumor? Or are we just having some fun, dreaming?
-
Addison just agreed to a paycut in Buffalo....and I believe Mack just re-structured his contract to help out Chicago with their cap situation.
-
Okay, Brown had some injury woes in 2020, but the guy is really damn good when healthy. Why are so many acting like he had all these problems?
-
Yes, I am curious about Hodgins too. I remember this past summer hearing a few different draft "experts" assesing the Bills draft, saying that they though Hodgins had a bigger chance of making an impact on the team in 2020 than Davis. Not sure if that means he will be good, or if draft "experts" don't really know much.

I got nothing against Sanders...but I am assuming his age may have helped us get him at a decent price. He had a decent season in New Orleans (61/725/5tds), so I don't think he is shot. Probably a cheap 1 or 2 year deal.

Cynthia Frelund teasing Bills fans with rumor tweet
Buftex replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seriously, did we trade Lee Smith? I can't keep up.. -
I'd rather have Brown...but whatever.
-
I get that the Bears would be (and should be) interested in Wilson...but what do they have to offer the Seahwaks?

John Ross as WR replacement for JohnBrown
Buftex replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd just assume sign John Brown. -
Bills not tendering Levi Wallace; have offered a contract

Bills Fans 2019: Lotulelei is useless...what a waste of money. Bills fans 2020: The defense is really missing Star...our pass rush depends on him. -
They have to sign him, before they can put him back there. He may end up being too expensive for them to re-sign...unless he is willing to take less to stay with a winner!
