  1. Yeah, like I said, I will take Josh over the rest at this point..but you aren't going to win a lot of arguments saying that he is better than Brady...even if we know it. Brady has been doing it for decades (literally) with varying levels of talent around him...
  2. I'd say "at least" 4th. Sure, I like him more than the rest, but hard to make arguments against Mahomes, Brady and Rodgers.
  3. Wait, so now weaponizing the government is not okay with the Trump-tards? It is hard to keep up.
  4. Why? Why would they photoshop this? There are multiple pictures of Glab, in the same outfit, taken the same day. Spencer Brown is 6 feet 9...she is short...what makes this so unbeleivable? He is one and a half feet taller than her. If it is photoshopped, they did a terrific job...shadows, red light fromt the scoreboard are all correct.
  5. Is it? Looks real to me. Either way though...he's like 6ft 9, she is like 5ft 3 in heels!
  6. No, I hear you...I didn't say it was a rational fear. But, over the season, I heard various NFL sideline reporters comment about how different it felt down on the field, with no crowd. Some even said it felt more like an inter-squad scrimmage at training camp, than a normal NFL game. Watching Inside the NFL every week, where they used NFL films highlights (no piped in crowd noise), it really was striking how quiet it sounds without the crowd. Different sport, but during the NHL playoffs last year, Bruins goaltender Tuka Rask opted out of the playoffs, saying he needed to be with his family, as the NHL was doing the bubble thing. He faced a lot of criticism from NHL pundits and fans...at one point, addressing the criticism he said something to the effect of "that wasn't real hockey anyways...it just doesn't mean anything in an empty arena" Other players admitted it was hard to get their adrenaline going like they would with fans in the stands. I know from my own experience playing various sports in school, I never performed as well when my father or brother showed up for a game. Silly I know (and I realize, being a pro athlete isn't the same as playing ball in Juniour high or high school) just saying I don't dismiss the notion that it could affect players both negatively and positively. It is just an element that wasn't really part of the 2020 season, for the most part.
  7. If I am being honest, for some reason, this is one of my bigger fears for this coming season, as far as the Bills are concerned. Of course we don't know...but last year was so (near) perfect during the regular season. I realize there are a lot of factors involved (including the fact that the Bills are just damn good), but the PTSD from drought era Bills still creeps in, now and then. They didn't play as well with a crowd...but they were also playing better teams.
  8. No, that only applies to NBA players. He knew what he was getting himself into.
  9. Assuming this is accurate, we almost get another bye week after the Saints game...10 days to prepare for the Pastsies! But then a short week to get ready for Brady! They always find a way to screw us! j/k
  10. I have the same jacket...I leave it at my sister's house in Buffalo, so I don't have to lug it from Texas when I go for Christmas. I don't buy as much Bills garb as I used to...as fun as the 90's were, it is unfortunate that the gear from those years is just awful looking!
  11. An unknown artist (as of today) who will have sold more records than the Beatles, by the time of the Super Bowl. Can't wait!
  12. I wonder if they didn't want him to have surgery because it could drive his trade value down. All I can think of. But, you are right, not a good look for the organization.
  13. You know, thinking about this a little more...one of the most iconic plays in Bills franchise history was Don Beebe tracking down Leon Lett in Superb Bowl 27, to smack the ball out of Leon Letts showboating hands. Do you think Cowboys fans take offense, because that play kept the game close, with a 35 point margin of victory for Pokes? Does the final score of that game (52-17 for Dallas) make the Beebe play any less impressive, to Bills fans? I think not.
  14. Thanks for the info. Believe it or not, a friend of mine has had season tickets since 1983...her husband passed a few years ago, but she has held on to them...she has mostly been giving the tickets away as of late... she was contemplating not renewing, but is kind of waffling. I want to try to snag a pair of Yankees tickets (probably a tall order I know) for my best friend and his son. I couldn't find any info on-line.
  15. It wasn't the throw that was so amazing, it was the catch.
  16. What is (also) funny about the "Hail Murray": had it not happened, Josh's TD pass to Diggs just a minute or two before, probably would have been one of the 2 or 3 greatest plays from our 2020 season.
  17. Ok... but I think "Bills Mafia" is at the inflection point of transitioning for "lovable losers/great fans" to being insufferable...almost like Red Sox fans after they won a World Series. It was an amazing play by Hopkins, not a bad play by the Bills. Maybe the best play of an entire NFL season. It is worth celebrating for them.... I don't think celebrating it is them rubbing it in our face. Our fan base is getting a little cocky. We haven't won anything yet either... but you know that. Are the Cardinals all of the sudden one our biggest rivals?
  18. I know what you mean...but lets be fair. Our team hasn't had a lot to show, other than some big plays here and there, for the better part of two decades...it's all they got right now...just like Kyle Williams TD celebrations for us for a few years there..or Nate Clements "destroying" Tom Brady 20 years ago, in a game we still got our asses handed to us. Just sayin...
  19. Yes, I still remember feeling absolutely numb when Bledsoe threw the ball out of bounds on 4th down (against the Eagles I think), killing any hope they had of pulling the game out in the end.... When Trent Edwards does that ***** it is one thing... but Bledsoe?
  20. I know you absolutely hate Bledsoe, so i won't argue the point with you...but I feel like, though ultimately it didn't work out with him, it was a good move by TD to bring him in. For half of the 2002 season, anyway, he was phenomenal. And, he was a legit starting NFL QB. For me, the Dick Jauron years, with Marv at the the helm were the absolute bottom of the barrel, of the drought years. It was the only time in my life I ever considered not watching every week... 2003 was crummy, no doubt, but (for me anyway) there was always that hope that Bledsoe, Moulds and that passing game would regain some of the magic they had the previous year. But, Josh Reed wasn't an adequate replacement for Peerless Price. Travis Henry was coming off a great season...Takeo, Fletcher, Winnfield and Clements on defense...there was some talent on that team.
  21. Unpopular opinion: The Bills were much more watchable when TD was at the helm. Marv, as much as I love him, was the real disaster of a GM. Donohoe was good at maneuvering the salary cap, and brought some good talent to Buffalo... I would say the same for Whaley, though he wasn't as good at the cap stuff. But, if either men could have found a QB (and if Whaley was ever allowed to hire his own coach), they might be remembered much more fondly. As the great Dick Jauron (Marv's disaster of a HC), "winning is hard". For the last 25 years, this league has been extremely QB dependent
  22. This is so dumb, it is hard to tell if you are being serious.
