  1. Head on over to the PP&P board. They've got more than you can consume over there. Look for EII, PJ and Blzrul, they'll fill your cup up for free!
  2. *bump* Since the Revvy Rev Al Sharptone has surfaced again, I felt it appropriate to bump this gem of his up for your viewing entertainment. Enjoy! Obama the magic WHAT!
  3. They just need to know how to spell potato(e)...
  4. WRT McCain, the person he picks will be groomed as his successor. JM is clearly running as a one term President. Therefore, I think his choice is very important.
  5. Two points- 1) Do you know how much oil produced here gets exported? The figures vary but equate to ~10% of what we produce. 2) If we were to open Federal Lands (ANWR) to production, why not have the Gov't include a caveat that any oil produced must be sold here? I'm not sure if this is a legal option, but if we could guarantee that it will be used domestically which will serve to offset our dependence on foreign sources, why not? Low prices are not what concern me the most. I want us out of the ME as fast as is realistically possible. The reason we are in Iraq is because it is in our strategic interests. When we no longer need to have boots on the ground there to protect our crack supply, all the better.
  6. See DC's post above. We are much more likely to see Iraq settled and resembling a functioning government than we are in the 'Stan.
  7. It's funny to me how McCain has been painted as a right wing conservative when the reality is he is the most center leaning republican candidate fielded in a long time. As far as Blomberg is concerned- I have to agree w/ Blzrul- he is a RINO and were McCain to name his it would be the end of the contest. If you think conservatives are unhappy with their candidate now, add him to the mix and it's OVER. His anti-gun stance alone would kiil McCain's chances.
  8. Nice job of pushing NAFTA off as a strictly Republican initiative. Do you remember who signed the agreement? No, of course not...it is an 'inconvenient truth'. The genie is out of the bottle folks...deal with it. The real question is: Is Obama for or against NAFTA? Does he know where he stands? What is his true position, the one he speaks about on the stump or the one he sent Goolsbee to talk to Canada about? Lastly, tax cuts aren't the problem-spending is. And BOTH side are guilty, although the current admin. has more blame in my opinion.
  9. As for your White Guilt- thats what the Messiah is counting on! Stay Strong! BTW, it's Band of Brothers. As far as pushing hate, that video is hilarious, and if you weren't such a partisian you might even admit it.
  10. So where do you live then? Good luck finding a house for close to $200k where I live. WRT your disagreement with his tax estimate, do a little research and find that the Federal Tax bracket for a married couple filing jointly earning between $65k and $131k is 25%. That is before the State gets its pound of flesh. So he is much closer than you think.
  11. Wait, I thought race baiting was a good thing? So which is it? Now you've got me confused...help me Obi wan!
  12. Oh wait! Your Dad was in the Army? Then surely you understand since I'm sure Daddy shared his war stories with you. I beg your pardon...
  13. Personally, I'd like to see him nominate Bobby Jindal. From what I know about him and after hearing a few interviews with him, he seems like an incredibly sharp man. He clearly is a rising star in the party, but I don't know tactically if he would help or hinder JM in the election. He seems to be the Republican version of Obama. We'll see what happens...
  14. If the oil companies can so easily pump oil from the areas they presently lease, then why are they (allegedly) pushing for more areas to be open to leasing (will cost them additional $$ if not tapped), through the Republicans? Someone please explain why this makes sense. That clearly is the Democratic talking point, but why do they think it makes sense? What does the evil oil companies have to gain by opening up ANWR, as one example, that they can't get by opening up leased land they already have? Where is the motive? Somebody help me here... For the life of me, I cannot stand NIMBYism we have in this country. The same people who B word and moan about our presence in the ME are often the very same people who are against us keeping our money here and developing our own sources.
  15. Apparently Al didn't get the message... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvXz2xaLNMQ *Posted in Honor of Pasta Joe*
  16. JA- Nice job of breaking it down 'shotgun style' so maybe, just maybe, he'll understand. I will say this-until you've lived in and experienced a high cost area it is difficult to understand the true value of a dollar in these areas.
  17. Gotta love the picture of Madeline Not-so-Bright and the Kimster knocking back a shot of soju! Hey, do you think The Messiah will re-appoint her as the Secretary of State?
  18. Moron, I told you I didn't know WTF you are talking about. What Americans are you referring to? If you want a response then how about letting people know what you're talking about. And BTW, !@#$ off about being a Marine. On this subject you have no idea what you're spouting off about. I do take offense to idiots who think they know about the bond shared by those who have been to hell and back together when they've sat in their armchair Monday Morning Quarterbacking from what they saw on CNN.
  19. White...yes. Angry...not so much. Just like to call hypocrisy out when I see it. And I've seen quite a bit of it from the 'change' guy. Trust me, McCain isn't exempt either. But don't you expect more from the guy who supposedly is about doing things differently? Maybe I just haven't looked into his eyes and been hypnotized yet...
  20. Buddy, if you're going fishing you better put something that looks like bait on the hook. I have no idea WTF you are talking about...
  21. I guess we now have our answer... http://www.reuters.com/article/politicsNew...=22&sp=true This guy is something else...He attends a black separatist church for twenty years and is going to complain that Republicans are going to use race as an issue. Well the Democrat's have been race baiting successfully for years, so maybe the Republicans should try that tactic. I'm joking peope...
