What are your ideas?
-
You don't grasp math very well do you? You don't see any difference in the ability to stop an ICBM versus the number of people that can be killed highjacking an airplane?
-
Thanks for reminding me...I'm holding though! I'm not saying that his suggestion of things to come is accurate (especially the timeline). Heck, I have no idea what the future will hold. But as a believer, I agree with him that the pieces are nearly in place that could result in the fulfillment of prophecy. In looking at the macro view of the world the dominos are lining up. Ultimately, what will be will be, but success favors the prepared mind.

No, he's a dried out, old turd. Which reminds me of a joke... Q: What does NozzleNUT and dog poo have in common? A: The older they are, the easier they are to pick up!

There's a bit of difference in the ability to kill 3000 versus 3 million...

More like Spanish and Chinese... At least you know how to say Merci Boucoup... -
What if...?

But he has nice hair! [/NozzleNUT] Seriously though, I was bashed awhile ago when I opined that I couldn't understand why a man with two young children and a wife dying of terminal cancer would still be running for President. That didn't sit right with me and I could see through the fake smile and felt that he was generally a bad actor. We can disagree on how seriously he was being considered as The Messiah's running mate, but clearly he was still a power player in the party. I truly feel sorry for Edwards wife and children that their Dad is a steaming turd...but at least he's got nice hair.

Gentlemen thanks for sharing the link. Their analysis was very insightful. I'll be the first to admit that early on I had no idea about the politics of that region (specifically Georgia), but it was refreshing to hear discourse without all of the typical BS static we are used to these days. LtCol Peters does seem to know his schit and doesn't mince words. Are we so complacent in this country and the West in general that this can go unchallenged? Putin is a badazz. Can't disagree with the LtCol on that. He is a leader who is doing for Russia what Reagan did for the US back in 1980. He is energizing a country that had their tail essentially between their legs for quite some time and whipping up nationalistic furor. Someone remind me of how much $$ in US securities Russia owns...

They can? Somebody better tell the 'outsider'!

I'm not sure if anyone has heard this interview, but this is hilarious! Nancy Pelosi was on Larry King trying to sell another 10 copies of her book amd had this exchange with him: KING: You're certain of an Obama election? PELOSI: I'm never certain of anything. Today, I would be certain. I just think that it is the opportunity for our country to move away from Washington. You know, I'm the Speaker of the House. I'm an outsider in Washington, D.C. . Business as usual in Washington is not in the people's interests. It there's for the special interests. KING: You would be the ultimate insider, wouldn't you? PELOSI: Well, I -- you would think. But I... KING: The speaker of the House isn't an insider? PELOSI: Well, they didn't want me to be Speaker of the House. KING: But you are. PELOSI: I had to fight these special interests. And now to make the change, we have to have a Democratic president. And Barack Obama has done more than anyone in terms of passing the toughest ethical bill -- ethics bill in Congress, to shed the bright light on transparency on the link between special interests and legislation in Washington. He will do more to take our country in a new direction because he will change the way business is done in Washington, D.C. . This is comedy at its finest... Hey man, have you ever tried to shoot the star out with a BB gun at the fair? It aint easy man! Even Carnies deserve to be in the Olympics... I mean shoot, they have Special Olympics for those who are severely handicapped and regular Olympics for those who aren't. Why not throw a bone to those who are borderline retard? [/ieatcrayonz] -
You are correct, I post under two Id's. I do not hide it, hence the similarity. I re-registered using my work machine while on the road once, and saved the log in info on the computer. Thanks for noticing NozzleNUT, you're quite perceptive. BTW, you're not that old to be a hippie? I never would've guessed.

The Skins Game Revisited...
SD Jarhead replied to UpstateSwagger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I DVR'ed the game and watched it for the first time last night. Football aside, Theisman is THE WORST ANAL-IST EVER! I can't stand that idiot! If you want evidence of how much of a complete idiot he is take a look at the pass interference play that we challenged and listen to his 'insightful' commentary. That dude has no business commentating on anything! What a fuggin moron...OK, my rant is over. -
I've been approached by friend and business associates five times over the last two months to get involved in these schemes. Three people tried to pimp me the Mona-vie miracle juice, and two others with the Fortune 500 or something that sounds like what you're describing. Here's the thing for me...ask yourself how you shop and make buying decisions. Do you like to buy things from friends or would you like to buy your cleaning products from Amway? Me neither. I actually sat through ONE Mona-vie pitch and the guy gave me the income disclosure statement that they are required by law to provide. The bottom line is that only 2-3% of everybody that are 'distributors' are making any money. There was a recent article on MSN about Mona-vie and their pitch. My $.02 is to stay the hell away from that schit.

Belief we can Change in! That Obama is sooo different from all the other politicians.

What's Alaska Darin got to do with this subject? If you're referring to Sen. Stevens, then yes, I hope that, if convicted, he spends the rest of his days telling 'war stories' in a cell next to 'Duke' Cunningham. I can't stand corrupt politicians of ANY party. But by the same token, he wasn't running for President nor was he lined up on his knees waiting to service the Messiah in the hopes of becoming his running mate. Sen. 'Wide Stance' Craig is another one. That guy should be gone and back in the private sector so could get tips from George Michael on how to pick up dudes in park restrooms. Fug all of 'em. But that doesn't make Edwards any less of a POS than he is...

Maybe he was just getting a $400 Haircut...

I've got 5th row seats for Third Day and Switchfoot (Jars of Clay also) here next month...my son and I are really looking forward to it! Glad to hear they put on a good show. There are some really great Christian based bands out there. The three mentioned above are awesome and have you ever heard Mercy Me? They have some great songs.
