I don't care if its 3013, you don't overpay guards period. Fat guys in the middle that are tough to move are much easier to find than guys who need much better footwork and reads.

Damn good signing for that price. I still can't wait to see what our DC has planned for him. We have all seen good players really go off in the right system. Not saying that will happen, but this is a really solid LB and I don't think he has reached his peak yet.

How do we not have an OL? A guard is easy to replace. We just added a LB and Free agency has just started AND we haven't drafted yet. Dear God Folks....

I know if I played for say Dallas, and say Cinci called with an offer of 8 mill per vs Dallas' 5.5 - 6 mill per I go to Cinci...or I pay my wife half in the divorce lol. Seriously Guards have no business making that much jack and taking up that much cap, so if Tenn calls and offers it...you go!

We don't need exceptional guards, just good ones and good ones aren't that hard to find. When you talk exceptional or pro bowl you want LT, C, RT not guards. I will say this though, the last time we had exceptional LT, C, RT it was Woolford, Kent Hull, Howard Ballard and we went to superbowls.

I will say I like the Lawson move a lot. That puts M Williams and Lawson on the outside right now in our 3-4 setup. Still need to shore up ILB (Maluga Maybe?). I would like to see at least one legit WR and a legit TE brought in before we draft. Hey we get a couple backers, a TE and a legit WR in FA then this is a win. QB Thoughts: NFLN mentioned Shanahan a couple years back going with a bandaid QB Because he knew this last draft had QB's. Do we do the same with T Jack?

Shockingly he would be a big help for us. We haven't been able to stretch the field, and he can do that. He gives us decent hands and routes on the outside with damn good speed. Stevie in the slot and another signing or draft pick on the opposite side and we are making progress.

I think this is a damn solid signing. And he can get sacks but wasn't used as much for pressure with the Bungles. It will be very interesting to see how he is used in our system. I have to say good signing. ^^ What this man said.

Lets try this again.... Guards are a dime a dozen and should NEVER Be given huge money....ever...like throughout time. Good for andy, he suckered the Titans into overpaying a guard which is a dumb ass move for them.
